Mina's jaws clenched together when he insulted Shadow again, her eyes burning furiously when she looked at him. 'Torture me? Starve me? As if that will do anything.' she stated coldly. 'You think I've never been through torture and starvation before?' she hissed.
When he faintly let her know he would kill another one of her friends, most likely Mortimer, a deep growl exited her throat in anger. 'You miserable excuse for a person. You're even worse than Hag. At least he had some kind of honor, showed some kind of kindness towards his workers. You're nothing but a demon, pure evil.' she hissed, turning around and walking towards the exit. 'You won't get away with this. I'll kill you, even if it's the last thing I do. No amount of torture or starvation is going to change that.' she snarled.

Mina's eyes burned furiously when he called her a "little girl", but her clenched fists and the scent of blood coming from her nails digging into her skin were just enough to keep her calm. 'That bird...' another pause to keep her from lashing out because of him insulting Shadow. 'Was an important member of this carnival. He was a dear friend and a good helper, he was good at keeping everybody at this carnival calm.' she stated. At his exclamation about how pathetic she was she snorted lowly, just barely holding back at what she was going to say.
'One question, sir, how do expect to keep this place running if nobody does their shows?' she asked coldly, crossing her arms. 'I have no contract with you, I had one with Hag. Are you going to kill everybody that won't perform, cause then you're gonna have a shortage on workers in about a week.' she stated. 'I do not fear death and I think you've seen enough of my fellow performers to know they do not either.' she said.

Mina's eyes were filled with hatred for the man when he stood up in his new office. Nothing was his, she thought, but she held a straight face. She managed to keep her voice calm as she spoke to him. 'We have not introduced yet indeed. My name is Mina and I am indeed the knife thrower of the carnival.' she replied. A little muscle twitched around her jaw in annoyance when she heard him speak of the mess she made in her tent. 'I would appreciate it if you did not watch me do anything in my room, sir.' she stated, her jaws clenched together. Her hands were aching to rip his throat open and watch him suffocate to death, but she kept still.
'That bird....' she paused to remain calm. '.. is the reason I'm here.' she stated. 'I want to request you to bring him back. I know you can, any person powerful enough to keep Hag in check has that kind of power. I will do anything in return for it, just bring him back.' she said.

Nychta's eyes gleamed lovingly when she saw the playful look in Zariana's eyes and simply took in the pup's scent enjoyably. She smiled and looked at her, before blinking at her reply. She nearly felt tears welling up in her eyes when she heard the girl's adorable reply, choking up a bit as she looked at her. 'You will? Truly?' she asked with a tiny, overjoyed voice. She received a face full of drool when the pup licked her and caused her to giggle slightly, before picking the girl up gently, rolling over and resting her on her chest, licking her face lovingly. 'That makes me the happiest mother in the world, to have such a perfect daughter.'

She smiled and chuckled a bit when Zariana licked her and snuggled against her tightly. 'Yes of course.' she said with a laugh. She smiled at the pup and her eyes gleamed happily when she saw Zariana's happy reaction.
'Well you'll stay with me forever.' she nudged the pup, getting up and pressing her down on the ground playfully, nibbling on her stomach to tickle her.
'We'll have fun and you'll be safe and you'll only laugh for the rest of your life.' she winked and lay down again, resting her head on the pup's stomach. 'You'll be my darling little daughter, would you like that?' she asked.

Nychta smiled at Zariana's cute behavior and pulled her against her with a soft smile when the pup rubbed her head against the fur of her neck. 'You haven't been cared for way too long, little one. You deserve some care and protection.' she mumbled softly and licked the pup's fur gently. She nuzzled the pup and looked at her with a soft smile. 'Would you like to stay with us, little one? I could take care of you, if you want to.., if you let me.' she stated softly, a bit hesitant to hear the girl's reply.

Nychta looked at the pup with a soft smile, a gentle look in her eyes. 'You can make light? That is a good ability.' she smiled softly. She put her paw around the pup when she huddled closer to her again. 'Oh, that's right. How rude of me.' she smiled gently and nudged the pup. 'My name is Nychta, You already saw what I can do, the exact opposite of what you can basically, I make shadows.' she stated.
'I was abandoned as a pup and..' she paused a bit. '...I was taken in by Mistress Nyx. She is a goddess that controls the night itself.' she said. 'I turn the day to the night at dusk, that is the task she gave me.' she said with a smile.
'Cassius, I believe he comes from the God of War. He's really, really strong.' she said. 'Outside... we were attacked, little one. We defended this place, killing some of the attackers in the process. Does that frighten you?' she asked. 'I wouldn't let them hurt you, even if I had to kill them.' she added.
