Glitch.
Ugh, yes. It's going to be so cute. I think we could have some sweet moments during that time, a little bit of fluff before we ruin their lives in the arena. I'm still trying to work out what Prim's weapon would be, or if she would even have anything aside from the backpack with essentials.
I'm going to try and do the post I procrastinationed on last night and then I'll get started. I have some things in mind for it, but like I said, we can keep tweaking until it's right. I really love arena design, so this will be fun.
Hm, that's tough. I want to say we can keep her alive but because we're changing things and Prim isn't dying, it might have a better after effect is the mom dies, that way Prim and Katniss will both have things to recover from and we'll have more to do after the revolution. Poor Mags :c I liked her. And yeah, Annie will be with the others. Did we want them to end up in 13 with our mains at some point? Johanna doesn't have anyone left, so I think her desire to just overthrow Snow is what motivates her.
I'm not cooking for a huge group, but it's still a lot of work. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, so I like to do a lot along with the turkey. I do most of the stuff the night before, like the pies and cranberry sauce. Lol, I'm making myself want Thanksgiving dinner now.
I think that's a pretty good idea. It can't hurt either of them to get involved in it, even though Haymitch would probably be annoyed with them hanging around because it's not a game, it's serious business and people are going to die >:C

That sounds good to me as well. I think both Finnick and Johanna will be good friction for everyone involved, and then eventually we'll get those friendships in there. It will be really nice when everyone comes around and bands together.
Do you mean, Effie is in on it beforehand and the code has been pre-established? I think they would do their best to be as inconspicuous as possible since they're going to be on camera, and Snow is going to be watching, and also Katniss and Haymitch are going to be right there. So any way for them to hide in plain sight while still getting things done is good to me.
I could be mistaken, but I think we agreed to leave the mother alone? It might have been for our original plot, but I assume that still stood, haha. I think the only one her kidnapping would really get to is Prim and Katniss is already going to be emotionally overwhelmed with everyone else being taken and then the bombing. I think Haymitch would be pretty upset if something happened to Effie, which could cause a little bit of friction between him and Katniss, although idk if anything would have even happened by then.
Prim isn't as tough as Katniss, so Johanna will definitely get to her. It would be nice to have a scene where she stands up for herself, though. I can't imagine she would get very far against Johanna, but at least she would be doing something for herself. We can leave Mags out if you want. Annie is already going to be kidnapped (I'm assuming?) so that, in my mind, is enough incentive for him to carry on.
I'm glad it went well with minimum hiccups! Hospitals are the worst, so I wouldn't blame you for being frustrated by any of it, haha. Things are good with me right now, not too busy yet. I think after Halloween, things will start to speed up because I do both Thanksgiving and Christmas at my place and there's a lot of cooking involved. I'm enjoying the calm before the storm though.
And it's okay, I get like that. I was distracted by the blood moon last night, so I didn't end up getting things done. I think you can touch on Haymitch and Katniss training, maybe something with Gale getting in on their training for the hell of it? Something with Peeta being salty, haha. Whatever you want to put in there is fine with me.

There were quite a few places around Boston that Charlotte had never been. If it wasn't trendy restaurant or a club, she didn't pay much attention to it. In retrospect, that was more than likely a mistake and she was sure that many people would have thought she was crazy to not take advantage of the beautiful, historic city that was her own backyard. Charlotte couldn't bring herself to dwell on it, though and if she was going to finally explore Boston, at least it was with someone interesting and fun. She wanted to see the church with Noah and find out what he found so special about it aside from the architecture that was surely beautiful.
“I'm kind of a tourist,” she pointed out with a soft laugh, “are you going to make fun of me?” She raised her eyebrow at him, but it was plain to see that she was only teasing. Noah was incredibly easy-going and she liked that she could loosen up around him. Her other friends were somewhat uptight and that attitude easily rubbed off on her when she was around them. Charlotte liked being able to relax, and be a little bit more of herself. It didn't matter that Noah was mostly a stranger, he was good company.
Finishing off her water, Charlotte considered Noah's words. She didn't want him to be in trouble with his father, but at the same time, he didn't seem to mind the impending consequences. “I'll make it up to you,” she decided lightly. She didn't know exactly how, but she would.
It wasn't long before the waitress came back with the check and the deal stood that Noah would pay as long as Charlotte could tip. She left the woman something generous, a little more than what was standard before leaving and making her way over to the church with Noah. It wasn't terribly far away, definitely within a comfortable walking distance. The weather was still warm, but Charlotte could hardly say that she minded. Soon, the church came into view, but Charlotte could already see that it was crawling with people. “I see why you had to sneak in,” she chuckled, standing on her toes try and catch a glimpse of the front of the line.

I hate when someone makes you wait a month for a reply and then ignores your messages about whether or not the RP is still happening. How hard is it to say you're not interested anymore? I wouldn't have been offended or angry, but now annoyed by the rudeness.
