He was really a dick to her for a while. I wanted to smack him more than once during the sixth one and ugh, Lavender. As for Fred and George, they were never my favorites. I was more interested in Charlie and the Bill, they sounded really fun, so I wish we could have gotten more of them in either the books or the movies. I really liked Cho. I felt bad for her losing Cedric like that and then Harry basically decides that she's terrible because she made one mistake. I wish they could have been a thing for longer than they were because she was sweet. I'm not a Snape shipper, haha. I never liked him outside of moving the plot along and his obsession with Lily and his hatred for James that he took out on Harry really rubbed me the wrong way.

I think Gale will probably be the last one to realize that he's got feelings? I imagine Haymitch will notice something a little more at the ball and then try to ignore it. The Games will be a good distraction from all of that, which I'm sure they'll be grateful for. There's no time to angst over your feels if you're trying not to die. Nights are for snuggling tho, so we can do something there. I think the Capitol would want to market Prim and Gale, but the citizens are all about Katniss, so they'd probably find it really scandalous if she “moved on” from Peeta to her mentor. Omg, I feel like she would really punch Gale if he called her “sweetheart” lmao.

I'm glad you like her c: I don't normally play the ladies, so this is nice for me. I really love your Katniss too. She's less harsh and black and white than she was in the books.

Ugh, don't even get me started on Fish Tank. It was too good and really gave me too many ideas about shipping. I don't read too many fics, but just from seeing them in Catching Fire, I knew they could easily be a thing. I'm glad we're not going the sad drunk route, but I think it could have gone that way if we didn't have these games as major plot.

Oh god, Katniss. Flirting. Haymitch doesn't realize he's into her yet, so he's probably going to give her a look and tell her she's weird. Sit down, Katniss, you're bad at this! And Prim has no experience with a boy being that close! Like, what deer? There's a handsome hottie behind her, that's way more interesting than staying alive!

I thought Ron's silliness balanced out Draco's anger nicely, and made him loosen up a little. It started out as a fluff pairing, but I did one RP where it was serious and I definitely started loving it then. Before that, I shipped Draco and Harry really hard and they were my OTP for a long time. I would have preferred the trio marrying people who weren't mentioned in the books, or at least just Harry going that route. Ginny never did anything for me, and I really think they only worked because Harry loved Ron's family so much and wanted to be part of it. I could also ship the trio together with each other, but I hardly see anyone interested in that sort of thing.

Lmao, yeah because they're both so prickly. Haymitch is just going to wing it and pretend he knows what he's doing. It's going to be really bittersweet for him, though because he's still under the impression that he's not going to make it out of the arena, so it doesn't matter how he feels about Katniss. But aw, yes <3 that will definitely be really sweet, probably the last bit of fluff we'll have for a while.

Ugh, I am too. I know your feel about student/teacher. I also like babysitter/married father because that's extra angsty when done right and it doesn't turn into a smut fest. I just never thought Katniss was really interested in anyone. The romance between her and Peeta was so forced even when she randomly realized that she was in love with him. She and Haymitch make a lot more sense now that we're doing this, though. At least he understands her.

Same here, tbh. I have a few that I really like, but I'm always really excited to get a reply from you. Like I said before, you're one of the few partners I have who actually sticks around and talks and wants to plot. And no problem at all! No rush and don't feel pressured to give something gigantic.

I was weird and shipped Ron with Draco >__> but in a more traditional sense, I could definitely see how he and Luna would have worked out nicely. But yeah, Harry and Hermione really did belong together. I wish more thought would have gone into those romances.

It would be weird if Haymitch had no experience physically. I imagine he's going to be completely at a loss for what to do with real feelings. And then there's the fact that he cared about Katniss beforehand, so he won't want to hurt her because he's not exactly nice. I just had a thought that their relationship could be described as porcupines mating...

I like age gaps, tbh. And ugh, I love Gale and Madge together, they're one of the only pairings I actually shipped when the first book came out. I was never crazy about anyone being with anyone else, except for Glimmer and Cato because I like the careers a lot. Granted, there weren't a ton of character to ship but I definitely didn't think Katniss deserved anyone for a while. I really love this RP, though and I really like the development we've got going on.

I think it would Prim and Katniss in one chariot. If anything, the Capitol is going to be hoping that Katniss will have to kill her in the arena, so they would probably try to sell them and their emotional bond to the citizens. The interview with Caesar will probably be all about each other, rather than how Katniss feels about Peeta or Gale, or whatever.

Two Worlds, One City (Closed - mmidnight)

Charlotte listened closely to what Noah was saying, finding it to be fascinating. She had never been one for the history in her own back yard, and was always drawn to the technical aspects of time periods, rather than what building was erected on what day and by who. There was something about the way Noah spoke, though, so sure and even a little passionate that made Charlotte truly interested. Noah seemed to be a very genuine person, and again, Charlotte had to wonder why he wanted to hang around her. Most people looked at her and assumed she was a stuck up girl from suburbs, a tease with little substance, but Noah already wanted to see her again. She really hoped that she didn't screw this up somehow.

Smiling as she felt his hand on her back, Charlotte continued to move forward toward the church. “You're not lame,” she assured with a soft laugh, naturally gravitating closer to his side. Charlotte didn't think she had any nerdy qualities, aside from maybe wanting to go into the marketing field, oh, and there was, “math. I really like math. I had a statistics class last semester that I absolutely loved.” Again, she more than likely didn't look like someone who could spend hours working out equations and drawing out charts, but it really was something she enjoyed, and even considered fun.

“Math is way more lame than knowing things about church,” she laughed again and finally entered the church with Noah. It was warm inside due to the amount of people passing through the doors, and the day in general, but Charlotte didn't mind much. She fanned herself with her hand before reaching into her purse for an elastic to tie her hair back. Once the long tresses were off her neck, the humid air was much more bearable.

Craning her neck, Charlotte looked around, taking in the high ceilings, and the beautiful paintings—the church really was gorgeous. “We should take pictures,” Charlotte suggested. “I can't be an annoying tourist if I don't leave here with a few memories.” She dug around in her purse once more and took out her cell phone. Being careful not to cut herself on the broken screen, Charlotte unlocked the phone and saw she had a few texts from her friends. They sounded disappointed that she couldn't make it, and she frowned to herself for a moment, feeling guilty. Charlotte quickly pushed the thoughts from her mind and turned back to Noah, the camera app already open.

I like Hermione and Ron together, but I've always shipped her and Harry more. Especially in the last movie where they dance in the tent? Like, are you kidding? Just kiss already. Plus, I really hate Ginny. Like, a lot. She was just there so Harry had someone to fall in love with.

I don't think Prim would have any reason to lie, so she would probably tell her it's more than a crush. At least Katniss has kissed a boy, lmao. All of them are so stunted and awkward, this is going to be really cute and funny. That's true. I don't think Prim would try and fight her, tbh. She might yell, but it would take a lot for her to raise her hand to a killer and Johanna is really intimidating. Prim is really going to have to toughen up.

I never noticed that until we started this RP, and I never shipped them before either. I'm digging all this, though. And yeah, I like your Gale a lot c: I think he sticks pretty close to the books without going overboard.

That makes sense. I imagine it would go the way Harry and Ron's conversation about Hermione and Ginny did in Harry Potter, haha. Where they're both sort of like, huh....guess she is kind of cute. I think the bigger obstacle, at least on my end, is going to be Prim telling Katniss how she feels about Gale? I mean, if she can't talk to her sister about boys, who can she talk to? And just because they're going to be wandering around in the arena and then in the wilds, doesn't mean they're constantly going to be in danger. Plus, when Johanna starts to get flirty with Gale, Prim is going to be upset and she's not as good at hiding her feels as Katniss is.

And we're still doing the ball, correct?

So modest over there ;D haha. I was thinking about watching the second movie again, just for Haymitch/Katniss inspiration and for a better feel of him in general. I still feel like I'm not doing as well as I could with him.

Hmm, well it has to come from him since Katniss and Prim aren't going to be competing. Maybe they could have a heart to heart in the arena, or right before the games and Gale just realizes that she's his best friend and he tells her how much he cares? Orrrr, we could have him get blown up by the force field the way Peeta did, and when he sees Katniss leaning over him, and not Prim, he's weirdly disappointed that the first person he saw was her?

I don't think he is. I think Prim, with the way she feels about him, makes it out to be worse than him just being oblivious. She thinks he's perfect for Katniss, which is why she feels so guilty about it, so whenever he says anything even mildly flirty to her, she gets really giddy and then remembers he's probably just being nice. At least he sees her as a girl now, lmao. Prim???? Girl????? Poor Gale.

Yaay! I'm looking forward to it. I have three things to do already, but they should go fast enough.

So, Effie would know beforehand? I think it would be kind of interesting if in the background we let it be known that she was threatened too. I think once they get to 13 and reunite with everyone, she could tell them everything that happened on the Capitol's end.

That sounds good. I don't think Haymitch is going to appreciate being lectured Gale, so there will be some friction between them going into the arena. But everyone is basically there to help Katniss, so he's not going to be too much of a baby about it. And aw, Prim will really like that :3 She'll probably almost tells him she loves him or something silly like that and then feel really dumb about it. I think we could have Katniss and Prim spend some time together as well while Haymitch and Gale are occupied with each other.

I can do ours, haha. It's really just my thumb today, which is a lot better than it was these last few days. Believe me, I'm replying to stuff, I feel decent.
