As someone who works for a pet store I both love and hate pixar. The next person that tries to ask me if we have "a dory fish" for their goldfish bowl is getting straight up clubbed like a baby seal

Is this still accepting?

Yup.
Double post. My bad.
Michael.
Solar rat man...I kinda like the idea myself, it'd make for a great surprise attack. Imagine it: You're a criminal and you've got this guy cornered, it looks like it'll be over once you put a bullet between his eyes, then suddenly he's glowing. Why the fuck is he glowing? Before you can question this you're hit with a face full of solar radiation and sent flying. The last things you see and hear before you pass out would be this guy stumbling away while tiredly muttering how he "doesn't get paid enough for this shit".

I would have to say that maids aren't entirely pointless. They give a point of view that a knight can't. Yes, a knight shows the sides of the battlefield and troubles on the front lines but a maid is more inside the the heart of the kingdom where the most serious problems are discussed. A maid can show an angle that a king or queen can't either. A king or queen may see the problems directly but a maid is more open to hear a problem that most knights will never know about. Maids are the eyes and ears a knight will never have.

My issue is that there are still plenty of roles to fulfill that simply aren't being taken, we still need kings to sit upon the throne, heirs to take their place if need be, bishops for support both for the throne and the battlefield, and warriors to fight. From what I can tell the knight quota has been filled, but the knights still need to get their orders from somewhere. Though my biggest issue is that its all for one kingdom in particular, especially considering one of the issues in getting this RP up and running is the lack of roles being taken in the kingdom of Michael.

EDIT

Bingo, Savi hit it right on the head.

or maids in other kingdoms.... maids aren't pointless roles...

I edited the post a bit since I felt "pointless" was a bit overkill. What i'm trying to say is, a kingdom at war needs a King and Queen to make decisions for peace, a prince or princess as heirs to the throne, Bishops to support the throne or act as generals, Knights to lead the charge and act as commanders, and Warriors to act as, well, warriors. Maids and Servants, while important in tending to the needs of the throne and keeping the palace orderly, just aren't that important in the grand scheme of things unless they're acting as spies, delivering messages between kingdoms, acting in a king/queen's place during meetings, or partaking in combat.
I'm inclined to agree with Moxy and Kitty, not everyone needs to be a maid of lucifer. Honestly it just gets done to death, and it creates a problem because the LEGITIMATE slots still aren't being filled because everyone and their mother chooses instead to take on what is honestly just a pointless (in comparison to the more significant ones) role. I apologize if I come off as rude here, but the facts are the facts, and the fact of the matter is we need Kings, Princes, Princesses, Bishops, Knights, and Warriors.
In a downtown duplex located in what would be considered one of the nicer areas to live in Dimitri sat in a chair situated in front of a large opened window with a glass of scotch in one hand, and a cellphone pressed against his ear,"So, i'm to just oversee this shipment of yours and nothing more? Well of course i'm going to take out whatever officer gets in the way, provided they aren't on your payroll. Half an hour? I'll be there.". Dimitri went to hang up the phone, then froze, "One last thing, if one of those so called "heroes" shows up, then my price doubles. No, it's nonnegotiable, fighting meta-humans isn't exactly easy. Very well then, i'll be seeing you.", Dimitri hung up the phone and drained the glass of scotch, "Blank, we have work down at the docks. Do you still have that escape route for if things get hairy?". Upon being called, Dimitri's MeChip conjured up the image of a man in a black suit and a pair of sunglasses, "Which one? Pre or post transformation?", Mr.Blank asked with very little emotion, "Pre would be preferable. And before you ask, one of the non aquatic routes. The people at the dry cleaner gave me some odd looks last time I showed up with a bag full soggy clothes covered in seaweed.". Mr.Blank smirked ever so slightly, "I'll be sure to check for a route that doesn't require that you swim." he said before disappearing. Dimitri set his glass down onto the coffee table beside his chair and got up, "Alright, time to make some cash." he said as he began heading towards his door, pausing just long enough to grab his jacket -and the walther pk380 tucked in one of its pockets- before slipping out.

It was a nice enough day outside, hardly one to be wearing a turtleneck and jacket, however for Dimitri who had literally been made for desert warfare, it was somewhat chilly. The hired gun walked out into the parking lot to retrieve his vehicle -a fairly inconspicuous green jeep- and began his trek towards the docks, already spending his reward money mentally.
If you're up to the task, then more power to you Aphelion. :D
You certain that you're up for the task of handling three characters Aphelion? As much as i'd hate to see a hot interesting King such as that go to waste, I really don't mind picking up the slack if you feel it may be too much.
