As someone who works for a pet store I both love and hate pixar. The next person that tries to ask me if we have "a dory fish" for their goldfish bowl is getting straight up clubbed like a baby seal

Cain greedily eyed the envelope full of bills that Thaddeus thumbed through, but made no move to take it, nor an attempt to ask for more. After all, Cain was a professional, and professionals still had images to keep, even if they did occasionally steal surveillance equipment and other technological goodies. Wait, the Colonel was asking something about if there was anything else, focus, "*ahem* Nothing else of worth. A few deviants gathering here and there for the usual rallies, but so far none of them seem to have violent intent." Cain said as he reluctantly tore his eyes away from the envelope and looked Thaddeus in the eye.
"Terrorist is such a harsh word Colonel. I like to think of myself as an opportunist who simply works both sides of the field..." Cain chuckled and he rolled the cylinder between his fingers. The mercenary mulled over the amount of cash he'd been offered in his mind, ninety dollars might not have been much before the war, but with the economy tanked, ninety dollars could go a long way. Cain considered haggling for a bit, but between the female soldier behind him glaring, and the Colonel seemingly in a less than hospitable mood, Cain decided against it, "You've got yourself a deal Colonel." the mercenary crooned.
Jacque roughly wrapped his arms around the waists of Krait and Sparkplug, yanking them away from whatever they attempted to use for support as the jet whirled towards the ground "Hold on!" he growled before throwing himself at the window of the cockpit. The windshield stood no chance as half a ton of bone, muscle, and thick hide smashed into it, shattering it with only the midis resistance. Luckily for Jacque, the dropping of the jet had brought him close enough to the ground so that when his plummet was finally ended with solid pavement, the only real damage was to the street itself, evidenced by the impressions of his feet on the asphalt, and the cracks that surrounded them. Jacque looked down to his team mates, who he figured would be none the worse for wear, "You two alright?".
Its seems as though everyone is über busy this week, myself included what with trying to balance work and classes. Please try not to leave ol' shade in the dust today folks. XD
Matiu remained unresponsive to the people around him, his skin was turning rather pale, giving the tattoos on his torso and arm an even more striking appearance. Thresher meanwhile was plenty responsive to the riders and their dragons, stepping over Matiu with one paw and issuing a vicious snarl to the others as they drew near, however as they began to make it abundantly clear that they were merely there to help, Thresher reluctantly stepped back and lied on the dirt next to his rider. 'You all will have hell to pay if he dies under your care...' he warned before gently nudging at Matiu's face and chirping softly, much like how a mother hawk would tend to its brood.
*massive facepalm* Ohgodimsostupid, I really should have thought of doing what you suggested Kalamadea. Will start doing that from now on. Thanks for the suggestion :)
As he listened to Krait, Jacque's eyes glinted with excitement at what was being implied in her plan, "Twenty five...maybe thirty feet with human cushion" he mused, following his estimate with a dark chuckle, "I hold Hellhound good. He no struggle if he has broken bones.". All of his previous concerns about jumping from the plane had been forgotten, now, the only thing that Jacque could think about was what he would do to Hellhound once he got his hands on him, or better yet, his jaws.
As Matiu and Thresher sped along the trail, Matiu could just barely hear Tali calling out"Hey Mat' wait for me!", she had called out. He should have expected as much really, nothing could move like Thresher on the ground, even a dense forest like this couldn't slow them down after so many years of training in the thick vegetation of the jungle they grew up in. The rider and dragon slowed their pace, but not by much given the fact that Matiu was starting to get lightheaded from blood loss. "Need any help? I can help patch you up when we get to the camp. It's the least I could do, really." A voice to his left rang out. Matiu swiveled his head to look at Maria, his expression contorting from one of confusion and hostility, then recognition as he remembered her from the academy, "No worries I should be fiiii-", his voice trailed off as a wave of dizziness hit him. Matiu slumped over on Thresher's back having lost consciousness, 'Matiu?' Thresher called out, coming to a screeching halt as he received no response from his rider. The dragon craned his neck back to examine Matiu, concern etched in his face, ' Matiu! Kei te pai koe?? Korero!'. Matiu slumped off of Thresher with a dull thud as he hit the soft, wet dirt. 'MATIU! Ara ake!' Thresher said with a snarl of frustration before nosing at Matiu, willing his rider to get up.

[Im gonna get old doing these translations... Kei te pai koe?: Are you ok? Korero!:Speak! Ara Ake!: Arise!
Jacque still stood inside the jet, trying to work a way out to get down without simply flinging himself out. He may have been tough, but his body wasn't built to withstand that much abuse, something he gladly admitted to Krait by saying "No can land from this high...". As Krait slipped into the cockpit, Jacque followed out of curiousity, hoping that she might provide a way for him to get down and help the others. Nic's voice rang in from the com-link in Jacque's ear, "Team I am having sights of known super villain, Hellhound, his powers include super strength, speed and psychokinesis I, believe it was he who started the fires". A villain causing fires? Had Jacque been someone else, he would have stopped to question what sort of sicko would start fires for seemingly no reason, but as Jacque was who he was, his natural response was a loud growl and a sudden desire to tear in two the man responsible for the chaos on the ground. The gator man looked down at Krait impatiently, "What plan? Need stop Hellhound.".
Jacque was rather surprised as he entered the jet, it was extremely spacious, so much so that he didn't need to crouch down to move comfortably, why, one of the seats was even big enough for him to sit! As Nic began to speak, Jacque nodded as he listened to the details about the mission, taking particular note of the fact that there wouldn't be any fighting, 'Good...no combat means no being locked down...'. The thought of not being forcibly restrained made Jacque relax quite a bit in his chair, though he was still curious about the mission. "What cause fire?" He croaked in a rather gravelly voice, wincing slightly as he remembered how coherent speech was difficult in this state.
