I'm just a simple college student working his way through life while simultaneously testing the limits of how much caffeine and alcohol the human body can subsist on before it gives out. Just call me Shade.

Roughly a quarter mile away from the beasts and the group of humans, Dimitri finally came to a stop. It was not that he was tired -a combination of near constant physical conditioning and an adrenaline boost saw to that-, it was that during his sprinting, his mind had gotten the chance to try and piece things together in a way where they would make sense. The young man properly shouldered his bag and tied his water skin to his belt as he observed the strange landscape, "Ok...ok..get a grip Dimitri." he muttered to himself as he got his bearings. Dimitri tried to remember what events he'd partaken in to allow his predicament to transpire, "Ok...visited Joseph, had a beer or two, he said he wanted to go to mexico for the summer to get hold of some more peyote, pestered me into trying what he had le-", Dimitri paused, what seemed like realization dawning on his face. "The fucking peyote! Goddammit this is all probably just one big peyote high and i'm probably gonna come out of it in a jail cell or something." Dimitri growled as he raised and shouldered his axe. Mulling things over in his mind once more, Dimitri started walking once more, coming to the conclusion that if he was likely going to find himself in a drug tank when he came down from his high, he might as well play along for the time being. He had no idea how very real things around him were, nor just what he'd be in for.
Dimitri awoke with the groan as the sound of two massive beasts battling it out pulled him from his slumber. At first, the man simply mistook the sound for his phone's alarm seeing as he'd set it's sound options to 'randomize'. Dimitri's hand flopped around a bit as he searched for the device in an effort to shut off the cursed noise, first brushing the hilt of his axe -a treasured item that he'd crafted with his father during an outing-, finding nothing wrong there as he slept with it propped by his bed, followed by his book bag, then his water skin, two items that he knew for a fact that he kept hanging on his bedroom door. "What the fuck..." Dimitri grunted as he lifted his head, noticing for the first time that what he was laying on wasn't his mattress, but in fact soil. This revelation however, was not nearly as jarring as the one he received as two massive beasts rolled by him, locked in combat. Dimitri blinked, his mind processing just what he was seeing for a moment, before a shriek forced its way out of his throat. In a flash Dimitri was on his feet with his items clutched in his hands as he began to run, stumbling at first, but quickly regaining traction as he fled in the opposite direction of the creatures. Dimitri had just enough time to make out a group of human shaped blurs out of his peripheral vision as he ran past them, however rather than stop to confirm what he'd seen, Dimitri continued to run as if the devil were at his heels.
Well well well, what have we here? A survival RP with the possibility of actual consequences beyond inconvenience? Don't mind if I do!

Name: Dimitri Lockhart
Age (cannot be below 18 as this seems to be the age limit of potential targets): 20
Appearance: Click me!
Bio (everyone lived in the human world, and was transported here at some point) (not mandatory and can be TBR): The son of a discharged US army ranger and a camp instructor, there was rarely a moment in Dimitri's life where he wasn't doing something physical. During his time with them, Dimitri's parents instilled him with a hard work ethic, physical and mental sharpness, and enough survival skills to last him a life time were he to be dropped into the middle of a forest. Suffice it to say, Dimitri was pretty tough in a physical sense, however, the boy also craved knowledge, and as such would read whatever he could get his hands on whenever he got the time to, with notable attention being given to forensic science. This regiment of mental and physical conditioning carried into his adulthood, where he would make the decision to become a crime scene investigator and attend college courses to see his dream come true. Unfortunately during his second year of college, he was transported to the netherworld, and has since been looking for a way back home. He's been like this for a while now, and while he still holds out hope, in the back of his mind he can't stop repeating three words: "I won't survive".

Skills (hunting, combat, ect.): Adept in hunting, trapping, tracking and botany, minor skills in first aid, minor skills in melee and hand to hand combat

Weapons (if any): A "homemade" axe (It's a piece of wood with the size and shape of your average baseball bat, the head is made from part of a large gear with multiple screws attached to the back end of the head)
Power (by the rules of the universe, a person can have one starting power): Ogre strength
Equipment (armor, canteen of water, food, rape whistle, ect.): His book bag, a water skin made of leather, a flint, and half a pack of doublemint gum
Vices (everone has a vice or fear, and there are many creatures here to be fearful of): Wasps & hornets, being devoured alive (as in, in a manner similar to how wasp larvae slowly eat their paralyzed hosts alive from the inside)

Alastair noticed one of the girls leading a man by the hand away from the crowed he knew it was risky following his gut but casinos generally didn't allow prostitution to happen in there buildings so it had to be her Alastair nodded to his partner so he would follow and began causally making his way towards the back of the casino.

Jacque growled lowly as he noticed his partner following the siren and her intended victim. As per Alastair's request, Jacque had eased up on forcing the humans that stood in his path out of his way so as to avoid calling attention to himself. Upon the siren's exit from the crowd however, the ghoul resumed shoving people out of his way as he trailed after her, reasoning that with her back turned the siren wouldn't likely notice now that she had her 'meal' in tow.

Since Katherin only needs to fix one more post, everyone is free to post again, if you're still there, if in 2 weeks you don't post, I will consider it as you left this rp behind, if you have nothing to say in the IC atleast let me know you are here in the OOC

Apologies for my prolonged absences, between work and classes I often find myself with little free time these days. I'll still be popping in and making a post when I can (which should hopefully be before two weeks have passed) so please bear with me.

Felicia looked at the boy Dimitri had pointed at and studied him while listening to what he was saying actually noticing what he was describing "so what your saying is that when I or hopefully we have to fight him he could be weaker than we actually see him as?" She said delighted in the prospect of having an upper hand when fighting without having to use her powers, then she had a thought and asked Dimitri a question "hey Dimitri what's your "special talent" anyway it's not just observing is it?"

"That would be the gist of it." Dimitri said as he continued to examine the others in the room. Upon inquiry of his talent, Dimitri interlaced his fingers and began to idly twiddle his thumbs whilst staring off into space, "I was told that I have dominion over metallic objects. The term that the doctor used was magnokinesis if I recall correctly.". Dimitri debated asking Felicia what her abilities were, however before he got the chance to, the young man that he'd been examining earlier walked over to them, asked if it would be alright for him to sit near then, then deposited himself into his seat without waiting for a response. Dimitri found himself intrigued with the redundancy of Senoka's actions, though rather than ask why Senoka would even bother asking if he'd just sit anyway, the boy returned his focus to Felicia, "I've told you about my abilities. So, what are yours?".
Jacque grunted in response and pocketed his phone as he saw Alastair gesture to him out of the corner of his eye. Glancing this way and that, Jacque contemplated taking another whiff of the air to see if he could catch anything that didn't smell human, that is, he considered it until he heard the singing. It was extremely pleasant, and had Jacque been a normal human, he would have fallen under the tune instantly, however being of the undead persuasion, Jacque felt his mind go slightly fuzzy, but he was not quite completely enchanted. There was something else the Jacque noticed as well; there was a change off smell the humans, namely a majority of the males and several of the females. It was subtle at first, but growing increasingly strong, not unlike being in another room from someone who had lit incense or began to cook. The ghoul did not know it, but the siren's song was throwing those who fell under her spell into a more lustful state, their bodies producing more and more pheromones in their sweat as they grew more excited by the song. All this meant for Jacque, was that the human smell was becoming overwhelming, and it was making him even hungrier, which, considering the fuzzy state of his mind, was about to end poorly.

Jacque stumbled towards the crowd as if drunk, not even paying attention to his surroundings or his partner any more. He was having trouble controlling his desire to consume living flesh, that much he knew, however, Jacque's addled mind reasoned that if he couldn't fully control it, he could perhaps aim it at one thing in particular: the siren. The ghoul muscled his way into the crowd, occasionally snapping at or roughly shoving those who didn't move out of his path quickly enough as he went for his prey.
"I will try to refrain from doing anything strange." Dimitri said before he sat down and listened intently to what Felicia said all the while visually following her gesture towards the group of large positives. "I do not remember high school, however this does seem familiar." he said as he watched the group. Dimitri's pupils seemed to constrict slightly as he studied each member of the group before the boy pointed to one of the positives who would roll his shoulder after raising and lowering his weapon as if to show off its weight. "All of their posturing seems to be to both mentally pump themselves up and decrease the odds of being attacked, standard display driven by testosterones, however the actions they take display their weaknesses as well...", Dimitri trailed off as he pointed to the one who had rolled his shoulder, "That one there for example, he seems to have some sort of damage in his socket, or perhaps in his axillary or radial nerve. That may be useful to exploit in a fight." Dimitri mused aloud, seemingly more so to himself than to Felicia.
Jacque followed his partner towards the bar and quietly sat, though he didn't bother to order a drink. Tempting though it may have been to see if the undead could still become drunk, the ghoul refrained from trying to find out, mostly due to the fact that everything around them was still a simulation under surveillance. Instead, the ghoul pulled his phone from his pocket and proceeded to mess around with a few of the apps in an attempt to seem absorbed in his phone whilst actually looking around.

"Yeah you could say that haha, I mean I do love gambling." Alastair said with a laugh at Jacque's joke. Making his way towards the casino he arrived at the doors stopping. "So are you ready for this I don't know how you'll be affected by the sirens but they won't be able to enchant me very easily with their voices." Alastair sai leaning against the door waiting for his partners answer.

Jacque smirked for the briefest of moments as Alastair took his joke in good stride, however, as he donned his scowl once more, it may have been as though the smirk had never existed. "Well so long as you avoid hitting me in the head too hard you can more or less do whatever you need to stop me if I go crazy. Let's get this over with, but remember, we can't blow our cover." Jacque said as he clenched his fists, enjoying momentarily the sound of his knuckles popping from the action. The ghoul breathed in deeply, his nostrils flaring slightly as he took in the collective scent of multiple humans crammed into the building. Jacque involuntarily growled softly as his olfactory senses immediately caused him to associate the smell of people with food, however he continued to sniff the air, hoping to find a trace of something distinctly nonhuman within the building.
