Meanwhile at a hidden location..

"Meredith, you should come hear this." Sabrina said, looking more serious than she had been all this time. The reporter Meredith followed Sabrina to their advanced radio system, where a broadcast was starting. Meredith gasped. "That is not ours. Who else could have access to radio waves?"

Her questioned was answered when she heard the voice of Cooper:
"Dear survivors. Times have been hard and I am just proud at how well you are adapting. As you know, my staff has been working hard on creating artificial pokemon like Porygon for example. However, we have also been working on something else behind the curtains. In order to restore as much of the world as we knew it, we have been trying to recreate the League challenge."

Sabrina and Meredith widened their eyes and stared at each other. "So our scoop is true. I bet he wants to beat us to it, to neutralize us as an information source. And you know what, I bet it was also him who tried to attack us at Goldenrod."

Cooper continued: "However, the tragedy that has happened to all of us is also an opportunity. We can change anything we want, we had to start from scratch. The 6 gyms we have prepared with be devided over three regions, carefully selected by the type of environment that region has since the Apocalyps. The first 2 gyms will be in Kalos, where we are focused on recreating organic life. Not exactly my own preference, but the needs of the many ofcourse outweighs the needs of the one. Expect the find a grass/water gym and a fairy gym."

The more Cooper revealed, the more Sabrina got this feeling that he was trying to manipulate the survivors into thinking he has their best intrest. History taught us that there will be people believing him.

"The next 2 gyms will be in Sinnoh. As it turned mostly nocturnal, you shall face a dark/ghost gym and a poison gym. The poison types often used to be grass types but the lack of sunlight changed them too. Perhaps some sort of trade between Sinnoh and Kalos can be an option in the future."

Sabrina frowned. Trade? Ofcourse. Resources means power. Sinnoh will have to find something to offer in return.

Cooper finished his speech:
"And the last 2 gyms will be in Unova. I wil not share too much about it so far but considering it's a big wastelands nowadays, expect a rock/ground gym and a steel gym. Oh and in Unova you will also face the World Champion."

Sabrina grunted. "I bet he gave that title to himself. Who would dare to disagree with him?"

Meredith had been squeezing her fists all this time. "We need to stop him before he becomes a tyrant. He has already framed us as fake news. Sabrina, those people you met earlier, do you think we can recruit them into our rebellion?"

Sabrina nodded. "They seemed very determined to stop Cooper. In particular the murder of Miss Amy shook them."

Meredith pondered for a second and pinched her eyes. "Very well, let our rebellion be known as 《 the Amy Initiative 》 then, in honor of our fallen ally."

Sabrina smiled. The Amy Initiative. She liked it.

"Let's try to send them a message about our location without Cooper finding out. I will think of some sort of code and send it out within the next few hours."
"Peach-colored hair?" Marilyn asked. "We saw someone like that on our way here, didnt't we Glaceon?" Glaceon nodded in agreement and shared a grin with Marilyn. They remembered seeing someone like that because Marilyn had commented on the person's bad taste in clothes. Marilyn decided not to share this again out loud, she didn't want any of the guys to think she was making fun of someone. "It was just around the corner. If we hurry, she might still be there."
Marilyn giggled upon the conversation. "Chairman Rose sees the next Leon in you? Well, I must admitt I see some.. similarities." Her smile had something naughty in it.

"Then again, the Lucario boy came up with the masterplan for that Wooloo so maybe he will beat us all to it."

"This might sound crazy but what if we stick together for now?"

Hop shook his head. "Not me though, I have my own pace to do this. However, I am sure I will run into you lot every now and then. Best of luck, lads."

Marilyn smiled at how much Hop looked like his brother. "Very well. See hi to Leon for me when you see him."
"If I know your brother Leon? Sugar, who do you think he wrote that poem for that he carries around? That boy has his head in the clouds when it comes for me." Marilyn said while giggling a bit. Hop seemed to recognize Marilyn now. "Oh, you are thé Marilyn!"

As the two other trainers gathered around and suggested ideas to catch Wooloo, Marilyn wasn't very fond of Marlon's idea of paralyzing it. She did like Marlon's appereance however. He looked a bit like a rockstar somehow and that Magnezone added to that vibe. "Sugar, surely there is a less shocking way to do this, hmh?" she said while flirting a bit in the process by playing with her hair. Forget Leon, this electric trainer just hopped to the top of the list.

The other trainer seemed younger, more like Hop's age if she had to guess, so peaked her interest a little less. However, his idea to catch the Wooloo was far better. "Yes, let us try that. Anything for my friend Leon's little brother! Glaceon, be a doll and perform this boy's instructions in order to enclose Wooloo in the ranch."
The fluffy pokemon nearly hit Marilyn but she managed to jump aside right on time. "Goodness!" she said, a little startled. Glaceon growled at the fluffy pokemon but had to jump aside aswell when the trainer of the fluffy pokemon came running in a hurry. Marilyn gasped at the scene. "Hey you! I have seen your face before. Aren't you Leon's little brother?" The trainer stopped chasing for a second and looked at Marilyn, just at the same time that Cedric and Marlon arrived. "You know my brother Leon? My name is Hop and that is my Wooloo who is running away."
Sabrina wasn't sure why Khelfin refered to her as 'creepy sabriny' but she decided not to read too much in to it for now. The fact that he wanted her to join him to Goldenrod got her exited. This whole Apocalyps had been horrible so far but perhaps they coild turn things around and who knows even have a little adventure along the way.

Apparently they would meet up in Saffron once both teams were done with their mission. "Ooh Saffron. A Sabrina lives there too. Or well... used to... I dont know if she is still... nevermind." Sabrina hushed herself and got quiet. It occured to her that so many lives were lost.

Overhearing Khelfin mentioning a bomb, Sabrina got some goosebumps. And he was the one calling her creepy? Again, she held her doubts to herself. "I am ready. Let's go. Be careful everyone."
Marilyn and Glaceon were also headed towards the Proff, but they were not in a hurry. "How about some sightseeing first?" Marilyn asked Glaceon, who agreed with her by nodding. She took out her sunglasses and walked on her high heels through the area. There were a lot of Pokémon she had never seen before and she smiled as she watched them.
Sabrina felt a bit better now she had eaten. She was glad that Maya had taken an interest in Dhelmise. While Aro started to explain his plan to stop Cooper, Khelfin expressed his doubts about the plan. The more emotional Aro got, the more Sabrina felt bad for him. Unlike earlier in the conversation, Sabrina now had high empathy. Perhaps she could only have such high empathy when she isn't starving.

"I will help you Aro." she said, almost as if she saw it as a playful quest. A bit odd considering the tension and post-apocalyptic world. She then looked with big eyes at Maya and Khelfin. "Will you help too? Pleassssse?" Her tone of voice revealed that she was a lot younger that she appeared to be before. Well, she was quite tall for her age after all, so it was easy to mistake her for an older girl.
Sabrina watched them speak out about suspecting Cooper and frowned. "If you are right and it really was Cooper who did this, no one back there has a clue. It looks as if he is just as shocked and saddened about her death as everyone else is, but now that you mention it, something did feel off to me. I couldn't quite put my finger to it."

In between words, she crunched on the food Aro had given her. "This is really good by the way, thank you. You have a much friendlier aura than that mr Cooper." While she said that, she eyed all three of them. They were very different in a way. One of the boys even seemed quite cold and calculated, but even if he seemed nice deep down inside.

As Maya asked about Dhelmise, Sabrina let it out of its pokeball. "Dhelmise might not be a common spawn but the minute we saw each other we just knew there was a connection. I used my Dive Ball to catch it after an exiting battle."

As her eyes glided towards her Heavy Ball and her Nest Ball, her facial expression turned sad. "Dhelmise is the only one who survived the Apocalyps. No matter how strong Steelix and Golispod were, they didn't make it."
She retreated her Dhelmise to the Dive Ball, right next to the empty Heavy Ball and empty Net Ball and then stared at the strangers, who appeared to be friendly. Being suspecious was not in her nature and she let her guard down. "My name is Sabrina and well, you already met Dhelmise."

Her eyes looked tired, like she was in a constant state of confusion, similar to people who had taken calming pills. "I am not really sure why I came all this way. I couldn't stay where I was after Miss Amy was murdered." She said it like it was nothing out of the ordinary, apart from the worried expression on her face. The Apocalyps had not been kind on her empathy skills, giving her some sort of creepy little girl aura.
