I have been effectively seduced by your wonderful interest thread. I've yet to read the entirety of the OP in this thread since I'll be leaving for food in a few minutes but I want to express my interest. I have a character in mind but of course it will require reworking in order to fit the setting properly.

Also, I thought 'insanadiction' was quite clever.

I'm interested. I already have a character partially set up that would require only a bit of reworking in order to fit the setting properly.

To be a tad vague, she fits in an inquisitive doctor role. The kind that you might see studying and curing disease in the field rather than the lab. Or, perhaps more accurate to this setting, the kind that would fit as a plague doctor. Some details about the job I'm hashing out in my mind still since she's a previous character from MMO roleplay that I've wanted to adapt to other settings for a while now.

Hallo.

I'm not very new to roleplay, or this site for that matter, I just thought a fresh start was in order because it's been a long while since I could stretch my creative legs. In the spirit of fresh starts I thought it would be novel to try something new during my stay here. Namely making one, well thought out character and keeping it throughout several roleplays and watching the character refine and develop across multiple plots and settings. Mostly I've made characters pretty much on the spot for every individual RP I've gotten in so, for me, keeping a persistent character and developing it with care and deep consideration is new. Not that many would really care about it, I just think writing it out from the onset will keep me grounded on this path before I end up straying away before I even get started.

Thoughts of unrelated paradigm shifts aside, my name is Evyrless and I look forward to diving into the deep-end of the creative public pool.
