Ursathrope

A cousin to the lycans, ursathropes, or ursa (plural) are very similar to their more canine relatives. Instead of morphing into wolf-like creatures, they can morph into bear-like creatures. These forms can vary in size from a common black bear to a monster the size of a bull elephant. Although they share the same weaknesses as lycans, such as decapitation and silver poisoning, they can take a lot more damage before dying than lycans. They also are much stronger than lycans, capable of killing even supernaturals with a single swipe of their massive and deadly claws. Although they can see better than normal humans, their eyesight is nowhere near the strength of other supernatural. Their smelling and hearing capabilities are about equal to a lycans, though. Another weakness is that their human bodies are equal in strength to a humans, with all their powers focused on their ursine form. Due to this, ursa rarely leave bear form, which causes some mistake them for bears that can turn into humans.

Ursa tend to match the personalities of bears quiet well, sharing many traits. For example, all ursa must hibernate during the winter months, and will spend much of the year preparing for this. Hibernation is one of the key reasons that ursa tend not to target humans as food. They prefer going for more fatty food morsels, and will only target humans if they are a threat or trespassing. This leads up to the territorial side of the ursa. They are extremely solitary and territorial, and will kill another ursa if thrown in the same room together. The only time they will come together peacefully is when they intend to breed, which is an extremely rare event. Most ursa form when one ursa attacks a human and lets them live, who they in turn become ursa themselves. Because of their solitary nature, a newly turned human will become a full ursa on their own, because if they required the original, they would kill each other on the spot.

When the humans began hunting supernatural, one of the first species to dissapear were the ursathropes. Their large size and terrifying appearance made them prime targets, and their numbers decreased to critical levels. Due to the extremely low rate at which ursa form, their numbers never recovered, and now seeing one has become a rare experience. Populations of them still exist in the Russian and North American taiga forests, although they rarely go near human settlements anymore.

Personality: Both irritable and solitary, he is the perfect hermit. His social skills are terrible, and his personal hygiene is even worse. He is also quite arrogant, considering himself more knowledgeable and better than anyone else around him. He has a severe disdain for both humans and supernatural. He loathes humans because of the way the hunters harass him, and he hates supernatural because of the way they think they're better than him. The only time he is able to interact with other people peacefully is when he absolutely needs to.
Powers: With the ability to turn into a massive bear (size of a small elephant), he has extreme strength and heightened senses. His unique ability is resistance to extremely cold weather. This is centered around his bear forms thick coat, which will remain dry even in water, and can be covered in snow and still remain warm.
Weaknesses: Same weakness lycans have, except a little more durable. He also cannot stand temperatures above 60ºF
How you intend to use your humans: Although not particularly interested in humans as prey, he will kill them if they get in his way.
Bio: One of the few naturally born ursa, Bill was born to two unidentified ursa in North America. His childhood was relatively free of humans, and he only twice ever saw another ursa besides his mother and brother. Once he reached a certain age, his mother abandoned he and his brother to survive on their own. They stayed together for a few months before separating and going their own way. He never saw his family again, nor did he show any interest. He preferred staying in the upper coast of the North American continent, coming down from the icy tundra only to find food and to hibernate. However, after food became rare one year (thanks global warming!), he went down and started raiding human settlements. He mostly took garbage cans and left the humans alone. However, the rumors of an ursa attracted hunters. He was chased from the town, fearing for his life, and started a migratory life of a roving scavenger.
Other: (MENTAL) He rarely enters human form due to it's weakness. This trait, however, is common among his kind.

Having heard Elsa, Sideswipe stopped. "Uhh, you sure you don't need anything? And weren't you supposed be with Ironhide?" He said, his curiosity getting the better of him.

Sideswipe was busy moving weapons to the storage room as he passed Elsa. He was a bit confused, as Optimus had ordered Ironhide to move the humans to a safe location. But he continued on, knowing it was not his jurisdiction to take care of the humans.

Also, oddly enough, Kuroko would be able to take down a transformer quite well, once the shields were down. With extreme accuracy for the darts, she could take out their eyes, which for cybertronians (and especially Shockwave who only has one eye) is their largest weak point.
