Dominik ignored the girls greeting. "Follow and stay close" he said in a commanding tone. He then started to walk back to his laboratory. Even though it was on the other side of town, he showed no signs of slowing from his current pace.

Dominik filled out a check and handed it to the man. He knew the man was desperate, as he could tell by how willingly he accepted the price. However, Dominik decided it would be more logical to not bring up the subject. "There you go" he said as the transaction was made.

"6,000" Dominik said, his face not even slightly changing. He was hoping to make it high enough to get the man to sell, but low enough to save the maximum amount of money. He was determined to not spend too much money on this one. This was primarily because he hated putting all his eggs in one basket, as it was a most illogical thing to do.

Dominik raised an eyebrow when she shifted. If she was intelligent she might be of use to him. "I would put down 2,000 for her" He said. He liked to start with low prices, as it was most logical. If she didn't succeed as an assistant, she could always be used as a test subject. Perhaps she may even be the one he was looking for, the first one to survive his experimentation on creation of the perfect soldier. The possibilities were infinite right now.

In one of the cages laid what appeared to be a tame panther, lounging around in it's cage and making the ever-so-normal mewling sounds often. It looked at Dominik with watchful eyes, too intelligent to be just the big cat it appeared to be. Getting up it walked towards the bar of the cage, lifting up and scratching at them. Serra wondered if the man would notice her, she was getting tired of staying still, but that was what the auctioneer said to do.

Dominik stopped at the cage with the panther in it. It seemed intelligent, a trait he often admired in a test subject. "What is this beast?" The scientist asked the auctioneer. He always could use it as a side project for the super-soldier experiments.
