Space Bridge tower in Kaon (Cybertron)

Grimlock. glowing red with rage, quickly walked up to the control panel for the Space Bridge. "Shockwave ... Your finished" He grumbled, his massive sword was equipped and ready to slash the purple cyclops to pieces. However, as he raised his sword to slash the Decepticon, a beam of painful energy leaped out and stopped him. He let out a pained scream, and was then hit by two more beams that acted like ropes, restraining him. He struggled for a bit, but it seemed pointless.

"You don't think I'd build something so powerful such as you, and not have a way to control it?" Shockwave finally had turned around and addressed the enraged Autobot, "Now, sit there like a good pet, while I finish my work." His final words had a drastic effect on Grimlock. While he was reporting to Megatron, Grimlock began struggling even more.

"Kill you" Grimlock mumbled as his rage built up, his struggling becoming even more intense. He started to glow red again, except this time there was flames coming off his body. "No ... one ... controls ... GRIMLOCK!" He shouted, moments before he transformed. His whole body shifted, until he was now a large metallic tyrannosaurus that dwarfed the smaller Decepticon scientists. He let out a roar as Shockwave turned around with surprise.

"Impossible" Was the only word the cyclops could say before Grimlock came down and bit off his arm, throwing it into the air and swallowing it whole. He didn't have time to react, as the giant turned away and used his tail to send the Decepticon warrior flying. However, this act damaged the Space Bridge. It began to go into a meltdown, causing Grimlock to flee. He nearly got the edge of the tower before the ground collapsed underneath him.

Meanwhile, from afar, the Dinobots watched as the Spacebridge tower collapsed, their teammate probably dead. Although they were stricken with grief for the loss of Grimlock, they would still have to return and report to Optimus. With the activation of the Space Bridge, the Autobot leader would no doubt use it to launch the Ark to find a new home.
