It sounded to me like an army of Emu's with Tasmanian devils riding them clashed and it was called a war. Then I read it and it was equally epic.

Sorry for not posting until now, got real busy with my life and stuff. But ... "Im back"
Jack enjoyed the 15 minutes it took to get into the center of town from his home. He found it both a enjoyable, and refreshing little walk.He wondered where he would start his inspection of the town, although he had no particular order in which he would go about observing the place. He wondered if there would be any new good restaurants open, which got him on the thought of food ... he spent the best of 10 minutes thinking about food, walking about in a random direction. He soon found himself in a large plaza like place ... 'busier than I remember' he thought to himself as he noticed the crowds. His face frowned, he didn't like crowds. He walked on the sides of the empty space, attempting to avoid the other people as much he could. He looked up at the tree from the other side of the plaza; still unhealthy as usual, nothing new. He figured it would be proper of him to visit it, as it was important to the town, or so it was believed. He braved the people going by, and after much awkward walking, he reached the tree. He took in a deep whiff of it, and noted the smell. The same as usual, it had this tree-like smell, mixed with a little something else he couldn't quite identify. He always had figured it was just the scents of people walking by, but doubted that was entirely true. He gave the tree a good pat, "Still here, good to know" he said firmly. With that little ceremony he left. After all, he couldn't spend all his time on just one tree when the whole town needed to be revisited.
Posted, and as I said, i am waiting on TheDoctor (probably should have said so, but I forgot). Also, if it (my post) sucks, blame Obama. But don't tell him I said that, or he'll send a drone.
Therseod:
The werehyena was knocked over as the net hit him, entrapping him inside the ropes. Just as he was recovering from that, another guard walloped him on the head. Although it didn't knock him out, it did hurt ... a lot. Finally, to add insult to injury, the third guard pepper sprayed him in the face, and at rather a close range too. Pain pretty much spread through his face, and his eyes felt like they were on fire. "God dammit!" he shouted, the pain causing him to shake, "Always with the fucking pepper spray". He was in such pain, he partially transformed, parts of his body turning into a hyena and back again. His three personalities kept shifting control, one moment Thersian would be dominant, the next Tod would, then Theo. All of this went on in a matter of a minute or two, it was quite a spectacle to see.
