Amagitor watched the girl enter the forest. Yet another weary traveler for him to assist. He teleported in front of the horse, hopefully spooking it. This would be a good way to stop her. After being in its way, he realized that if he didn't move again, he'd be trampled. Jumping out of the way, he watched the scene unfold.

Chester found a nice tree to lounge in, and continued to hum his cheery song. He was having a grand day, and soon found himself wondering about the moon. He often did this, as he adored moonlight nights in the forest. He sensed a creature approaching on the path, but didn't seem to respond to it just yet.

He often meets his victims while they are traveling at night. He does not know why he does the things he does, as he doesn't even know quite who or what he is.
Years been in hiding: He doesn't hide, he is hard to track down/find
Personal Background/History: He could be considered a rogue weapon from a long forgotten war, although that would be an assumption at best. He has existed for thousands of years, continually leading people to their doom. Be it on a large scale (such as misleading a military commander) or on a smaller scale (such as leading a traveler off a cliff in the fog), he has done it all. He has remained largely unknown thanks to the fact that all those who he does interact with, usually die without speaking of him. He usually can be found as the unknown aide to a doomed hero.
