"Excellent" Swindle said, proceeding to slam a Dark Energon charge on the Kryptonian. Hopefully that'd hold her down for a bit. The rest of the combaticons transformed. If they didn't have weapons on their person, their vehicle forms would. They charged into battle, the Autobots only now realizing that they were under attack. By then it was too late, the nearest bots were piles of scrap. The two that Kara had helped earlier, were the first to die. In total, the first charge claimed the lives of 5 Autobot soldiers.

The autobots that Kara had saved didn't even know what had hit them. They simply exploded in the wake of the rockets and gunfire from the Combaticons. The three soldiers near them suffered the same fate. By then, the Autobot's had begun to take cover, one cove nearer the 'Cons was soon overtaken.

Vortex, Swindle, and Brawl took out this small group. Swindle grabbed his target by the back, pulling him down and smashing his head. The one Vortex was after had a energon sword through the back of his neck and out his throat, and fell, leaking energon to the floor. The last one possibly had the worst death. He had turned around in enough time to see the con about to kill him. He had his optics ripped out, then his spark torn out through his chest.

By then, the Autobot's began responding. Prime being one of the first. However, Swindle had just the thing for him. An EMP grenade to the face should slow the bot down a bit. The Titan-class Autobot's were a different story. As their X-18's opened up, the Cons had to take cover. "We did great, but now's the time to retreat" Onslaught ordered. After a few seconds, the cons started to retreat. leaving behind them a trail of carnage and death.

If it gave Optimus that much power, Optimus would be able to casually wipe out galaxies. It makes more sense that the Matrix of Leadership is a particular weakness of Unicron, instead of an artifact capable of wiping out universes.

Well it's a well of near infinite wisdom and stems from the spark of Primus, god of the Transformers. I think it could do SOMETHING. And maybe it never destroyed universes ... because Prime never wanted to ;)

Swindle resisted the urge to roll his optics at all this chatter, Brawl failed to resist the same urge. The combaticons soon found themselves wishing withevery bit of energon in their body that they would arrive soon.

Zod's heat vision would atomize Megatron. Assuming he's about Superman's equal, he can use it to wipe out entire planets. That kind of fire-power would reduce Megatron to dust.

The first time could go either way due to the dark Energon and Zod being overconfident. But if there was a 2nd fight, Zod would simple fly into space and just heat vision megatron to death and keep his distance.

It would take A LOT more than that to permanantly kill Megatron. So long as a bit of his body remains, and there's some dark energon to help with the repairs, he can be rebuilt. (One of Dark Energon's powers is to bring Cybertronians back from the dead)
