I like the idea of making Optmus a Sliverholder. Also, don't worry, it won't take away Optimus' free will.
Okay, I don't see why not

Eris had no idea what the thing she was looking at was (archive) but it would be simple enough to find out. Placing a hand on it she basically copied and downloaded every scrap of information it had. Though Eris had no idea what she was doing at first as she continued it became easier since she understood what she was doing. Bypassing security codes and fire walls there was nothing she missed. When she was finished she removed her hand and tried to play down her heaving breathing. While it was in cybertronian a simple translating enchantment fixed that and her mind was flooded with thousands of years of information. Even for her it was a lot to take in.

"My purpose? Now that's a question I could give you a lot of answers to." Bob seems to think for a moment. Purely theatrical, of course. He already knew what he would answer from the beginning. He'd gone through this process a thousand times. "Well, you're going to have the fill it in yourself, Because all I'm giving is a blank." He grins, as if he'd told a joke, and then reaches into his own chest. His hand breaks through the flesh with ease, bone cracking as it makes way. In the center, his finger slices at the Chaos Gem, and as he pulls out his hand, there's a surprisingly large chunk of some kind of gem in his hand. He tosses it into the air, and when he catches it again, it's a cube of energon, far more concentrated than anything the autobots would ever have seen. Easily enough to bring the Ark back online, as well as a thousand more, if the need were to arise. Truly n unparrallelled source of power. "I'm here to offer you the deal of a lifetime."

"The witch of what?.... Actually forget I asked. I'll just go visit those things and I'll get the information one way or another." Eris vanished and momentarily searched for the machines she had just seen. They were on some kind of ship, it would be easy enough to get inside. She waved good bye to her pets and transported to the Robots ship-thing. Eris's fluid form weaved in and out of the shadows while she searched for one that looked knowledgeable.

Mtn, I'm sorry to sound naggy, but Bob is offering Optimus enough Energon to power all of Cybertron for a year. Respond please.
