At arround that time, Optimus arrived near Megatron. "I am ordering both of you, leave now" The Prime said, the matrix protecting him and the Cybertronians nearby from the dark red energy.
((How about from now on, instead of the red wave destroys them, it makes them turn on each other, Kinda like the hate plague))

That depends fully on what goal one wishes to accomplish. An apelike build, like a gorilla, is great for upper-arm strength, but makes handling weaponry difficult and is inefficient for delicate operations. Thus there are many more examples.

Well look at the original Primes. Some of them are quite alien looking.

It depends on the Geass, the main character who needs to make eye contact yes it would protect you from it but others that don't require such a thing your overshield would not offer any protection. Geass will work on all living things to make it simple. Even transformers (but only if they are in the geass universe).

And what of Dark Energon? By the way, I am envisioning as Megatron being slightly stronger than a human
