Vance Hanerson always arrived early, it was his chance to read up on the latest aquarium books before school. This of course led him to miss the protesters and the new students ariving as he was already inside and reading peacefully. He had just finished a great article on the effects of global warming on reef ecosystems when he noticed a girl entering the hallway.

Walking up to the curiously smelling girl, he was curious as to what made that smell. He wiped a finger on her arm, then tasted it. "From the sea ... fascinating" He said. It was a lie, he had already guessed that she was probably the same as normal humans, and already lost interest. However, the fishy smell had got him on the track that led to his fish obsession. He wondered how often she saw rare species of fish, knowing that living underwater would be awesome for it. The ocean was really the ultimate aquarium, and all he did was replicate it.

Smelling like fish, that's a way to introduce Vance.

I'll just change mine to have the second Guardian notice Yukki running and intercept him. Like every time a pheasant runs from the beaters beating the bushes, "shoulda stayed still little bird" *shoots*

The Guardian was attacked by a new threat, and it's arm was totaled. It just managed to fire the missiles, directing the explosion forward. However, the blast still sent it flying, and totaled the arm. With the other, not so damaged, arm it fired at the group of organics before it. "Significant damage received, reinforcements required" It said into it's communicator. Soon, other Decepticons would arrive, and the area would be too dangerous for a few humans to stay.

Responding to the call, a second Guardian approached. It, however, was still in it's investigation mode. It was still far enough away not to notice the small organics, and only saw it's damaged comrade. It started searching the forest for the cause of it's brothers wounds. However, it didn't need to look long. It immediately spotted Yukki fleeing, and transformed into it's more armored attack mode. It quickly ran up to the small organics, it's large size allowing it to catch up in a few moments. "Neutralizing intruders" It said, and started firing at the couple. They would only have a moment to escape before they were pulverized to dust by the Guardians cannons, which took only half a second to charge up.

Thanks for explaining! And if any of the peoples fighting the guardians have a gun, even a weak one, they can target the eyes of the Guardians. Unlike other cybertronians, Guardians don't have over shields, instead relying on heavy armor to block attacks. When in investigate mode, their eye is the weakest point.
