Kithra

She heard what Thane Hoever, had said but chose not to say anything. He was welcome to think or say what ever he liked, she wasn't going to stop him. Yes, his words hurt, but she wasn't about to pick a fight with him. After all he was of pure back ground and most other pure magic blood were some how related to his family. Just then Cassiopeia Dubrinski stepped in the cabin, Kithra couldn't help but smile up at the other girl who was in the same house as she. She sighed and shook her head through when she called Thane a minger, she didn't like name calling even if the other person deserved it. It just caused more unneeded friction between the two houses, even though Slytherin was awfully good at causing friction. It seemed to be their whole mandate, cause discord and mayhem. Though they were good at covering their tracks, even though many knew who did or caused something to happen.

Shortly after Cassie took her seat Nicoli Savage came in with his cat Nightmare. Nicoli was of a very wealthy family that wasn't afraid to use that power over peoples heads, again his views on her was that she was a mudblood. He threatened her once, back in first year, she wondered if he even remembered, though she doubted it. She felt Camala puff up slightly at the sight of Nightmare, which wasn't surprising as the other cat was horrible to others, even cased year sevens down one of the halls at school back in year one. "Nothing really, everyone just saying hello." She said answering Nicoli's question, though she knew she didn't have to bother. She just wanted everyone to get along, though by the looks of it that was far from happening.

Instead Kithra turned towards Cassie and smiled, "How was your summer?" She asked truly wanting to know, most of those with a pure back ground had some really amazing summers. She on the other hand had normal muggle type summers, not that she mind too much, she just wish her parents would take her on more magic type vacations. She ignored the looks that both Thane and Nicoli were giving her, she did not wish to give into hateful closed minded ways.
Thane

Thane was relieved that there would be another from Slytherin house in the same cabin, as he wasn't sure he could deal with Cassie's constant glare. He found the other Hufflepuff to be annoying, even though she came from both a pure and rich back ground. He smirked at Cassie before giving her a mocked air kiss, he knew that would annoy her but he didn't care. Anyone that liked mudbloods like she did deserved to be made fun of, or in the vary least annoyed.
He looked up at the empty owl cage and suddenly wondered how his great horned owl, Death, was doing. He had come up with the name after seeing just how big he was, his shadow on other creatures as he flew over them was like deaths shadow as it was usually the last thing those creatures ever saw. Death actually took someone cat once, boy was that a blunder, even though the cat survived, Death had to be locked up. Was his fault that the cat looked like a tasty meal, so now if a cat, rat, frog or what ever else goes missing Death gets blamed and they lock him up and wait to see if he spits up the animals bones and fur. All of the time he never did it, though he did eat someone rat once which didn't help.

He was pulled out of his thinking when he heard Kithra answering Nicoli's question, even though he didn't need it to be answered as he knew full well what was going on. Kithra's answer seemed sickeningly sweet, which caused him to make a face and glare at her for a moment. How dare she talk to those of pure blood He thought shaking his head and looking away from the mudblood. He suddenly wondered what Tom had planned or what his idea was, probably something to do with mudbloods, usually did anyway. "Have you seen Tom lately?" He asked Nicoli hoping that he saw him that way he would know that he was some where on the train.

The mention of Tom's name made Kithra move uneasily and her cat to puff up, not that he blamed her. Tom was notoriously mean and degrading to mudbloods and many of her kind tried to stay clear of him.

Sure enough they had me working the next day and I had no doubt that I was under heavy watch, they were making sure that I didn't do anything that would upset the norm. They most likely had my computer, phone, and anything else in my room bugged so I made sure not to do anything incriminating. They were most likely hoping that I would be emotionally wrecked and slip up, but I was too well trained for that. I could easily detach myself from a situation and go over all the facts, this what got me my high rank. I knew that I could be of higher rank with the talents and pedigree I had, but they wouldn't allow that as I was too young to hold such a position. That and I would be a threat.

I sat in my office looking over data files that had come in that I was to review, that was when Barbara burst into my office. By the look on her face she was pissed and with good reason, as I gave her work that was way below her rank. Having such work was an insult it was also bad for image, as the rest on her coworkers would see what she was doing and wonder why. "I demand to know why I was given a shitty assignment sir!" She nearly yelled as she was having a hard time controlling her anger, though I was sure that a number of others would react the same way as she. I sat back in my chair as my fingers interlaced with my two index fingers touching my lips. I eyed her for a moment before smiling, though the smile was a mocking one. "I thought it suited you." I said simply which only made her temper flare.
"You know damn well that I am better than this! I demand to be given work worthy of my rank!" She nearly barked.

I watched her for a moment longer before slowly getting up out of my chair. I could see others through the windows of my office peaking in, they were curious about what was going on. I looked back at the woman infront of me and had the nearly uncontrollable desire to hit her, as she ratted out Louisa. I rounded my desk and stood infront of the woman looking down at her. "You will do this work I have assigned and be happy that I didn't give you something lower. Your rank means little to me at this moment and if you ever come back into MY office demanding something ever again, I will cut your rank in half. Do you understand me?" I said evenly though my words dripped with acid and I had no doubt that my eyes showed how angry I was though my body language didn't.
"But you can't do that!" She hissed back
"Oh I can and I will if you fail at the task I gave you. Be happy that it is an easy one..... Now get out of my office." I watched as shock and horror spread across the woman's face before she left. I had never been so mean or belittling to any of my employees before, sure I had been tough on those that had screwed something up or was doing something that was upsetting the rest of the workers. But never before had I been so cold hearted and mean. Truth be told though, I was using her. She was looking up security of bars on the lower end of Restraint, something that could of been done by those of a lesser rank but my petty human need for some sort of justice won out.

I had several others look things up for me that would like I was merely concerned about the safety of the city. But in truth I didn't care I just wanted to get Louisa back, even though I was acting as though I didn't care about her. I did feel bad though for using some of my employees, but I had no choice I was being watched and I needed everything to look like I was just doing my job. I looked up from a report to see Barbara standing with a file in hand, she placed it on my desk without saying a word. I smiled inwardly, at least she learned from the last time she was in here. I took the file and handed her another file that I wished to be analyzed, again it was something that was below her rank but I didn't care as long as she got the work done.

I looked over the file that Barbara brought in, it was all the security details of the bars in the lower end of Restraint. Only one bar last night had an arrest, a woman with out papers. There were two arrest last month that were similar but those people did actually leave their papers at home. But my gut was telling me that this was different, that this bar either served shady people or they themselves were shady. That didn't matter though, all I knew was that I was going to head down to that bar and hopefully find someone that could help me as I couldn't do what I had in mind alone.

When the bag was finally lift from my head I was in a cell with one other woman, my eyes narrowed at her. She looked like crap and I instantly made up my mind not to talk to the woman. She seemed shady, plus I heard that they placed fake prisoners in cells to make the others talk. But they weren't going to get anything out of me. I sat down and leaned my head against the cold wall and shut my eyes. The other woman tried to make conversation with me and even gave me her name, but still I didn't say a word. She wasn't going to get me to talk, I simply glared at her when her talking became annoying which shut her up. I didn't care to talk, mostly because I knew she was fishing for information plus I had a headache. I really hit my head hard on the floor when they took me down, plus my body hurt from being stunned.

I was almost asleep when the door to the cell opened and a man dragged another young woman in. Judging by her dress she was of a higher rank and was most likely out on a date, I wrinkled my nose slightly when I saw that her dress was a little messed up which made me wonder if the guards did anything to her. I hope not, it wasn't something that I wished on any woman even if they were my enemy. Once the guards left I could see her face more clearly, I nearly coughed in surprise. She was the woman that Enrick wiped the prints off the can for the first time. I suddenly wondered why she was here, we didn't frame her. If only Enrick knew that his efforts to keep this one safe were in vein.

I leaned back and rested for a bit until I heard the voices of the other two women in the cell start to talk. I listened though I didn't join in, I was in no mood for talking plus I want to find out what Zorah's angle was. When they stopped talking I leaned my head against the wall again and thought back to Enrick, I couldn't help but wonder what he was doing. Did he tell Boss that I was taken, was he worried? Of course he's worried and so is Boss. I thought but knew full well that Boss would push aside his feelings to get what ever he was doing done, so he would truly think about her later.

”They think I caused the explosion in Section 8.”

I turned my head to look at the young woman name Louisa and lifted an eyebrow, she obviously didn't like the silence or being in her own head. Me though, I could spend many hours in the depths of my mind. It was one of the things that we rebels had to go through, torture. We were put through alot of it, to test our breaking points. Those of us that were weak were put into area's where they could do the less damage if caught. I was one of the few that didn't break, though we all do have breaking points, it was just that Boss didn't want to go that far with me.

"Did you?" I asked lowly which made Zorah look at me with a slight grin on her face.
"Well look who decided to talk now."
I was seriously considering punching the bitch in the face but settled for a glare that made the woman flinch slightly as if she knew how badly I want to hit her. I looked back at Louisa though my eyes were kinder than they were with Zorah.

Don't worry Louisa I know you are innocent, it's just I can't tell anyone or else many lives would be at risk. The death of one person is better than the deaths of many. My thought were slightly cruel, but I rather she and I die than all those in rebellion along with those top side.

sorry for the wait had stuff going on in RL
Kithra

It had to be the smell, or maybe it was the sights? Though she wasn't quite sure, all she knew that her stomach was twisting into knots. Maybe it had to do with the fact that this was the first year that Kithra was going on the train without her parents being there to say goodbye. Sure she was a big girl now, but it was nice having someone to wave and give air kisses to as the train left the station. She wouldn't get that this year, as both her parents had to work and had said goodbye to her this morning just before she left in a cab. Looking about she saw first years saying goodbye to their parents who were giving them last minute advise and telling them how proud they were of them. The sight brought back memories of when her parents first brought her to the train station to go to Hogwarts. They were so full of pride that she was afraid that they might burst, but they were just happy that she had magical talent and was going to one of the best magic schools in the world.

She claimed up the steps onto the train and made her way down the narrow passage with bags at slightly awkward angles so she wouldn't get in the way too much. Though that was easier said than done, she just hoped that she could find an empty cabin or one with at least one other passenger. Much to her surprise and luck she found one that was completely empty, with a small sigh she entered the cabin and quickly placed her bags above her seat.

Taking a seat Kithra looked out the window feeling her stomach knot up again, she had no idea why. Maybe it really had to do with the fact that she missed having her parents say goodbye as she continued to watch loving parents bidding farewell to their children. But her stomach knotted a little harder telling her that she was either get a stomach bug or something was terribly amiss. She really hoped that it was the former, because she hated the events of the latter. She hated confrontation and only wanted everyone to love one another, such a hippie statement and one that she was constantly being picked on for. That and her parents weren't 'purebloods', she was labelled as a freak by those that had narrow views and didn't like seeing the larger picture of things. Those people where mostly of the Slytherin house, but she paid them no heed. If fact she barely paid attention to anyone unless they needed her help or were of her own house. She was quite proud of being a Hufflepuff though most thought of them as slow or lowly, but that was just a miss understanding. Sure her house didn't pour out great and powerful witches and wizards but they were loyal and true and vary few ever dabbled in the dark arts. Other wards they were a steady house.

Kithra was pulled out of her deep thinking when her cat, Camala, jumped up onto her lap. She smiled down at the mostly white and orange cat, and petted her soft short fur. Camala was a small, thin cat that most people would assume was still a kitten. It made Kithra wonder how her cat got places, but she was thankful for the little feline as the little cat had more heart than anyone she ever known. Camala once stood up against three large dogs that had run after Kithra and cornered her. She had left her wand at home not expecting to use magic on her short evening walk, so when she was being chased by three large dogs she cursed herself for not bring the thing. But her little feline saved her, Camala didn't fight the dogs just stood there and puffed up like any angry or annoyed cat would but that seemed to be enough to scare the dogs away. To this day Kithra still wonders how and why that happened.

There was a slight jolt forward as the train began to pull away from the station. Looks like another year has started. She thought feeling both excited and nervous.
Thane

Thane had looked for some time for his friend Tom but couldn't seem to find him anywhere, either he was late or was coming already on the train. Though he suspected that he was late, which seemed sorta' like Tom. But it still rubbed him the wrong way, as they had agreed to meet up a week or so ago. They had alot to talk about and it would of been nice to get a cabin before they filled up. Tom had said that he had plans, plans he wished to go over with him. Though Thane knew that Tom usually already had his mind made up before he ever talked to anyone, basically he was seeking praise for his ideas. Which for the most case Thane gave him, as his ideas where pretty sound though recently his ideas and ways of thinking had really begun to shift which was causing him to lift an eyebrow.

He was torn away from his thinking when someone yelled "All aboard!" Shaking his head and huffing slightly he made his way onto the train in search of an empty seat. For the most part the cabins were full or had the rival house Griffyndor sitting there. He didn't much care for that house and he didn't mind going out of his way to find a different seat where he wouldn't have to converse with them.

The train pulled forward which caused him to lose his balance slightly as he continued to search for a seat. Much to his disappointment though the only cabin remotely empty was the one with Kithra Gover sitting quietly while petting her cat. She was an odd person always trying to get people to love each other and trying to find ways to have peace, but then there was also her blood background. She was born to mudbloods making her no better, she was a stain on the magic community as were all mudbloods. They should all be wiped out leaving only those of pure blood to remain.

He stepped into the cabin and quickly threw his bags up over his seat next to the door on the opposite side of Kithra. She smiled warmly at him which made him wrinkle his nose and shake his head before sitting down. "Mudblood." He said under his breath but could see from the corner of his eye that she heard it, as her eyebrows knitted together as she bit her lip and looked out the window again.

This is going to be a long train ride
