Katie - Inpenetrable refuge (aka the Laundry room) - Emma

When Emma appeared at the door Katie refused to open it. Emma wasn't her friend anymore. Lauren had said 'they killed Bull' meaning everyone in Haywood. Everyone was against her daddy, so everyone was against her. They had killed Bull for no reason, other then he was friends with her daddy.
Would they kill Lauren next? Then Katie?

The little girl was determined not to listen to Emma's story. It was just lies to try and get Katie to open the door. She wouldn't listen. She wouldn't.
She did really well until Emma mentioned Tyler. She was the first person to actually say something good about Katie's daddy. She said that he was mad at the men who had been mean to Emma, that he was going to punish the man for being mean. It was just like he did with Katie. When one of his men was mean to Katie her daddy got mad and punished them.

She was also the first person to talk about Tyler joining them, about them keeping both Tyler and Katie safe.
Was she lying? Was she just trying to pretend to be nice to get Katie to open the door?

Katie came out from under the blankets and walked to the door. Reaching up, she slowly unlocked and opened it just a crack, enough for Emma to see her eye peeking out.
"... Did you know Bull is dead?" she asked. She had to know if Emma knew about it. "Did you... did you know they were going to kill him? Did you know?" she demanded, tears in her eyes. "Why did they kill him? He didn't do anything wrong," she continued, crying in earnest now. "Rob said that Bull was bad. That my daddy is bad. He's happy Bull is dead."

Katie stomped her foot angrily. "I want Bull back and I want Daddy back! Why did they take Bull away! It's not fair!"
In the process of the fit Katie had completely opened the door and threw her arms around Emma, crying. "It's not fair! He didn't do anything! He did what they wanted! He let them lock him up and they killed him! Why?!"
Sarina was bored. Now that the child was gone and it's mother tormented she now had nothing to do. Perhaps another scheme was called for.
No. Too much work. She didn't feel like tricking and scheming right now.
But she needed to do something to alleviate her boredom...
Smiling, she rose up from the water. Standing on the water in the middle of the pool, Sarina began her hypnotic, seductive singing.

"Hear my voice on the wind... Hear me call for you...
Listen and hear me... Be not afraid, come follow me... Answer my call and I'll set you free...
I am the voice in the wind and the pouring rain.
I am the voice of your hunger and pain.
I am the voice that always is calling you.
I am the voice... I will remain...

After that she didn't sing anymore words, just volcalized. She could sense someone near, someone that could hear her. If it was male, it was only a matter of time until they came to her. If they were weak-minded they would already be hers upon arrival, entranced to do her bidding. But if they were not... well, that just made it more of a challenge.
Eventually though, every man succumbed to her.
okay, then maybe I'll have Sarina entice him a bit *evil laugh*
who should I approach first?
I wasn't sure where to start Sarina so I just made an opening post with her showing some of her personality and the kinds of things she does.
If anything is wrong or doesn't fit the rp I can change it.
Soft music flowed through the trees. The hauntingly beautiful sound of a woman singing.
The woman, one of the humans from town, took her courage in hand and followed the voice.
It led her to a beautiful glade. It was small and private, surrounded by trees and rocks. A pool of crystal water glimmered enticingly.
The human cleared her throat. "I know you're here. Show yourself."

The voice changed from singing to laughter. From under the branches of a weeping willow the water began to glow and ripple. It moved forward, towards the human. Something started coming up out of the water. An ethereal beauty with large eyes the color of the sea and flowing white hair.

The human woman shook with fear, but stood her ground. "Give him back."
The creature cocked it's head, a small curious smile on her face.
The human started to become angry. "You heard me monster. I know you have him."
The creature spoke, her voice was gentle like falling rain, alluring like the sound of a stream, and as seductive as the sea. "I find it amusing that you think calling me names will make me do what you ask."
"Do not play your games with me," the human ordered. "Give me back my son."
"You didn't say please," the creature said playfully, wagging her finger at the woman.
"Damn you to whatever hell you spawned from!" the human cried. "Give me my baby!"

The creature sighed and waved her hand over the water. Another figure appeared, a small boy no more then five. The human woman, overcome with emotion reached for the child, nearly touching the water but stepping back at the last moment.
"Ben... Ben my baby, mommy's here. Mommy's here baby. Come here sweetheart."
The child did not move, merely stared at his mother like he was staring through her.
"What have you done to him?!" the woman demanded. "Give him back! He's mine! Give him back!"
"It doesn't appear he wants to return to you," the creature said, kissing the child on the head. The child in turn wrapped his arms around her legs, hugging her as he stared at the crazed woman on the shore.
"Ben! Ben!" the woman screamed in agnoy, being so close and yet unable to reach him. "You stole him from me! You entranced him with that cursed voice!"
"Now now, there's no need to be so upset," the creature said. "It's not good for your health. You have come here, to my home, called me horrible names, disrespected me, demanded things of me, and as of yet have given me no reason to pity or help you in any way."

The human, reduced to groveling, got on her knees. "I beg you. Give him back to me. He is my child, my baby boy. Please. I beg you. I'll do whatever you wish."
The creature smiled. "Now, that wasn't so hard was it? That is a much better attitude to have."
"Then you will return him to me?" the woman asked hopefully.
"For a price," the creature said. "You can't get something for nothing you know."
"What price? Name it! Whatever it is, you can have it! As long as you stay away from my family!"

The creature laughed and waved a hand. Water bubbled up into a pillar in front of the woman. At the top was a shell of some kind with sharp spikes.
"Cut your hand and place your blood in the shell," the creature ordered.
The woman did so without hesitation. The water pulled back, bringing the shell to the creature. Once the shell was in her hand, the creature sang and short melody. The boy closed his eyes and collapsed in the water. His mother hurried into the water to retrieve him. Holding him tightly, she carried him back to shore. The creature in the water poured the blood into the pool.
Suddenly the human woman was struck with a terrible pain. Screaming she looked into the water. Her reflection showed the horrible truth : her youth was fading away. Where once stood a young mother in her thirties now stood an elderly woman in her seventies.
"What have you done to me?" she demanded in horror.
The creature laughed. "You said you would pay any price to get your son back and for me to stay away from your family. Well you have paid it. Your youth for the child. I think it quite a fair trade."
"You monster! You demon! You-! You-!"
"Siren," the creature supplied with a smile. "If you ever want your youth back, return here. You will be young again and the child will be mine."
She turned the leave, then looked over her shoulder. "Oh, I certainly hope your child recognizes you. It would be truly awful if he didn't."
Laughing, the Siren disappeared beneath the water.

Sarina settled underneath the water, letting the newly added blood and youth revitalize her. The child had been cute and cuddly and amusing, but Sarina had a hunger for more... adult things. In a decade or so, which would seem short to a siren, the boy would be ripe for becoming her lover. By then his mother would be dead and gone. Unless she decided her youth was more important to her. Then Sarina would get the child back and be able to groom him to her liking, making him the perfect servant. Or perhaps the fae would want him. They seemed fond of human children. Sarina was always open to a good trade.
Either way, she had won. She always won.
Never play a game unless you would somehow win.
Heather - Camp - Hank

Heather flinched at the sound of Hank's fist colliding with the bin. She closed her eyes and turned her head away at his angry questions. "Do what?" she asked, "Express my opinions? If I roll over and agree with everything you say will you like me again? Well I'm so sorry I can't be a parrot with boobs."

Aaliyah's appearance kept things from escalting beyond that. Heather sighed deeply. She regretted how harsh she was sometimes, but just like Hank her pride wouldn't let her be the first to apologize.
He left without another word and she felt like punching something herself. Instead she rubbed her face and looked heavenward before looking back at the unconcious man before her. "Why must you men be so difficult?" she asked him.
Since he had no answer for her she started putting things away.

He was trying? He was trying? That was a laugh. Of course she wasn't really trying either, but at least she didn't claim otherwise. She had given up on trying when he had decided he didn't love her anymore. Her feelings had taken longer to wither and die, but now they were just like his : gone.

At least that was what she told herself to keep from cracking. He was just fine with the way things were so she would be too. She wasn't going to suffer if he wasn't God damn it.

She could hear him talking to Aaliyah outside and her irritation flared once again. Flirting with the young girl? How typical. She was far too young for him, but maybe that was how he liked it. Maybe that was why he'd stopped loving her. Maybe she had gotten too old for him. She knew some men liked their females young but she hadn't thought Hank was one of them.

"Damn it," she muttered, crushing some bandages in her hand before shoving them roughly into a box. They couldn't keep on like this. One of them was going to explode one of these days.
Something had to give and soon...
I will make my intro post when I get home
I tried to fix it and if not I left the link to the pic in the post

Where do you suggest I start off?
Name: Sarina
Age: you never ask a lady her age (translation : not sure)
Gender: female
Appearance: Sarina

Relationships: none atm... but looking for that to change *wink*
Personality: Just like the sea : on the surface she is beautiful and warm but deep she can be cold and merciless. But she is not exactly 'evil'. She will not attack unless provoked. The problem is she is easily provoked. She dislikes killing, believing it to be too messy and demeaning, but she will do it either herself or have one of her followers do it for her. She never has more then one lover at a time, but if she has one and another comes along that interests her she will not hesitate to drop her current follower like garbage. Is it her fault if the poor sods get so upset when she tosses them aside that they kill themselves?
She doesn't like women, of course, but will be civil with them. She has even been known to trade with them : their men for something she desires. On the whole Sarina is very reasonable. She appreciates logic and will listen if you have something worthwhile to say, otherwise she views the problems of others as none of her concern and will not go out of her way to help her fellow supernatural beings. Unless of course they have something to offer...
Bio: Sarina was once in love with a man, but the foolish mortal decided to break her heart. Hell hath no fury...
Since that time Sarina has sworn to never fall in love again and her heart turned to ice. She cursed the man who hurt her, destroying his life and everyone in it before drowning him. Males of any species are merely toys to be enjoyed then tossed aside. So far she has only ensnared human men with her voice, but now that she has arrived in this town full of supernatural males... perhaps it is time to try something new...
Other: Where'd they go?
