Name: Gia
Age: appears to be in her early 20's but in reality only a few months old
Gender: Female
Class: Android - Genesis model
Background and/or Personality: Gia was created and programmed for a specific purpose : the latest in the governments attempts to find and eradicate malfunctioning androids. Gia is the first of several androids to form a special squad to hunt down and terminate malfunctioning androids and report, and at times take into custody, any human harboring a malfunctioning android. The squad has been named : Genesis.
As for a personality, Gia has none. She follows orders to the letter and is only focused on completing her objective.

The eyes opened, blinking at the appropriate intervals. As the robotic arms pieced her together, the female android looked around, her computer-like vision identifying and categorizing everything she saw. There was a blankness in her stare that to any human would seem cold and unnerving.
"Name?" a serious female voice said over an intercom system.
"Gia," the android responded immediately.
"Cogative brain function online and operational," the voice said. "State your primary objective."
"Location and termination of all malfunctioning android units," she replied again, no hesitation or flicker of interest in her blank stare.
"Restate primary objective in German."
"Lage und Beendigung aller Fehlfunktion android Einheiten."
"State your secondary objective."
"The reporting and incidental capture and incarceration of any human harboring a malfunctioning android unit."
"Restate secondary objective in Portuguese."
"A elaboração de relatórios e captura incidental e encarceramento de qualquer ser humano abrigar uma unidade android com defeito."
"Language function online and operational. Demonstrate agility and range of motion," the voice ordered.

Gia, who now had her arms and legs connected and operational, crouched down before sprinting across the space, leaping up and rebounding off of the wall before flipping and landing in a crouch, with one leg extended to the side, the other knee bent up, one hand on the ground and the other out stretched out on the same side as the outstretched leg. Her head snapped up and she did several backhand springs before pushing off with one hand and twisting in the air before landing straight on her two feet, standing at attention like a soldier.
"Good. Genesis unit is fully operational and ready for deployment."

Katie - Apartment - Decision

Katie didn't really understand what was going on. Why had Jacob left? Why had he gone on his own and left them behind?
The little one couldn't help but feel a little betrayed, even though the man had not been with them long he was still a part of the group and the group did not leave the others behind. What if he was hurt? What if he was in trouble?

People were voting on whether or not to go after him. Katie listened quietly until she realized a couple of them were looking at her. She blinked a couple of times blankly before it dawned on her that they were waiting for her to vote too.
No one had ever asked her what she wanted to do. She just always followed along with her daddy or was made to go along with whoever was in charge. It was a strange feeling, have to make a decision. What if she made the wrong one?

Katie bit her lip. She looked at her father, but he didn't give any indication as to what she should say. Neither did Scarlett. They wanted her to make this decision on her own.
But she didn't want to.

Anyone could see she was highly uncomfortable in this intense situation. Having just come from being kidnapped and nearly killed by a crazy man, she was not really in a position for serious decisions. Feeling like a big baby she buried her face into her father's hand, small tears squeezing out. "Stay Daddy," she said quietly but loud enough for others to hear. "Please don't go."

Gia allowed the stranger to pick her up. He had blonde hair in a braid and eyes that she couldn't decide if they were blue or violet. She sniffed him tentatively and for the first time in three days felt a sense of safety. He was the Alpha. And he hadn't killed her. Yet.
After he sat her on the bar and she had a glass of water in her hands, which she downed most of in about two seconds, she looked at him with huge puppy eyes. Her mother had once told her that sometimes Alphas would kill members of other packs who trespassed on their territory. She gulped in worry.
"I didn't mean to trespass," she assured him quickly. "I was so scared. I didn't know what to do. I just ran... and ran... then I smelled an Alpha and..." she looked down, blushing a bit. "I thought maybe... you would help me..."

She looked back up at him with wide sad eyes. "I'm the only one left. The monsters... they killed everyone... My pack is gone," tears bubbled in her eyes once again. "What do I do?" she asked. If she had been in wolf form she would have been on the ground with her ears back and whimpering, rolling over to show her belly and neck in submission.

Maria cocked her head, smiling. "I hope my family does not offend you," she said. "We are a little more... free-spirited than the Kingstons. But we are not bad people." she assured him quickly, but it didn't really matter. She would be whatever he wanted her to be. She had always been loyal to Alistair because he was her sire, but now she felt that, if this angelic knight wished it, she would leave her sire and follow him anywhere. It wasn't like she would be missed at that much. She wasn't the most important person in the family. In fact, she wasn't important at all. Her skill was not required. She had been turned merely at a whim by her sire, not because he required her presence. While she was grateful to him for giving her this life that she loved, if there was a chance to find a place where she was valued and wanted for more then just amusement she would take it.

Someone was talking to her. Gia looked up to see a man's face. She sniffed and found he was also one of her kind.
"The m-monsters," she said, shaking. "They're coming... they k-killed my pack... my parents..."
Her eyes were wide and it was apparent she had been through a lot of trauma. "They slaughtered them... mother... she told me to hide... told me to... to run..." the child started rocking again, her eyes staring at the floor, at nothing. "I ran... I ran... three d-days... so hungry... the monsters... they're coming to... to get me now..."

Gia was scared. The one male seemed like he was sick and was talking about someone being 'out there'.
The little girl gasped. "The monsters!" she cried, fearing that the ones that had killed her pack had followed her. She scrambled under a table and curled into a ball, pulling her knees up under her chin. The monsters were coming for her! They were coming to kill her just like they had killed everyone she loved.
Mommy... Daddy...
Gia placed her face against her knees and rocked back and forth whimpering like a newborn pup.

His words touched her. For the first time in a long time, she felt a glow of warmth in her heart. The glow made her eyes shine happily.
"Lucian-" she started to say only to be cut off when one of his family appeared. She stepped back a bit. Maria was not the best at combat. If the older vampire decided to attack her...

But he didn't. He merely teased Lucian a bit and left, giving them 15 minutes.
Only 15 minutes? It seemed like only a few seconds. So she would have to make the best of them.
She looked towards Lucian and stepped closer now that his family member was gone. "When shall we meet again angelic knight?" she asked, her smile betraying her enthusiasm.

Then her sire had to embarrass her by calling out to them. Maria shot him the kind of look that a teenage girl gives her embarrassing father before turning back to Lucian. "I'm so sorry. My sire he..." she shrugged, hoping he would understand.

But that thought led to her thinking about their families. Her smile faltered and she looked sad. "What if your family... I don't want to cause trouble for you," she said. Troubling him was the last thing she wanted to do.
She swayed closer, wanting to be near him, wanting to touch him and feel the electric pulse he had sent through her hand before. She had never been shy or coy before but felt both in abundance with this male. He was... perfection... utter perfection...

Had he a mate or someone special to him? She prayed not, otherwise she'd have to kick the female's ass and make her disappear. Her heart had decided on this male. She would have no other. None could possibly compare to how this male made her feel, his voice, his music that so matched her own. It was as though they were fated to find each other.
And now that she had found him, she would no lose him. If his family made him leave tonight, she would simply find him the next night. Or perhaps he would find her...? The thought made her smile brightly.
