Because that's not how this particular RP works, I supose. Myke has a plan for their rps, and that's the path of this one they chose to format. The length of time it takes is regrettable...but when life happens or muse eludes you, you can't help gaps in the planning process. Writers block is also a thing.
Myself, I do enjoy a good quick, jump right in and let stuff flow rp, but that's not the direction this one is going, clearly.
The best thing to do is just wait. It'll happen when it happens. there's no rush.

Then they'll drop out. Like I said, this isn't starting until there is a plot, and if that takes a few months, then unfortunately that's what it takes. It's best not to rush things, as you said stuff happens. If you don't want to character dump, that's fine. But as for NPC characters, that's...not a thing in writing? I mean every character, whether they have bit parts or not, are going to have a human controling them, even for one or two bit parts.
We are not starting until Myke has a plot. It may be slow going, but that's just the way it's gonna be. I know it's hard to wait, trust me. Just be patient, and it'll start eventually. We don't have nearly enough characters to start anything anyway, so you should make more as you wait.

Personality: Badger is very loyal. Almost to a fault. He can be extremely supportive, but this gets him in trouble. Cats think he's sucking up to the leader to maybe usurp them, but he really isn't. He will perform long vigils on request, even though this exhausts him sometimes. He is also usually a good judge of character, having experienced his share of both good intentions and shocking betrayals. He's serious, rarely taking a joke even if it is a bit funny, however, he is not above showing the younger kits a softer, more jovial side when needed.
History: He was raised in Nightcolony after being born to a queen named Featherbright, a young first mother with black and white splotches. He came from a littler of four, and climbed naturally up the ranks until he reached warrior. On his way up the ladder, he witnessed three really good acts of loyalty, and one very heavy betrayal. He had no asperations to become deputy, but aparently, 'fate' had other plans. He served faithfully, and is a strong hearted Deputy, determined to never let his leader down.
