Just a little heads up, I updated Minae's picture
Carlson sighed as he saw Andrew leave the tavern/bar out the front. There was nothing he could do about that. Andrew was his own rebellion wrapped up in a package of testosterone and defiance. There was nothing he could do about that except pray that he respected him a bit. Carlson didn't worry all that much though. He knew that Andrew was smart. He was the best Omega they had - if anyone could take care of that suspected hunter, it was him. He had half a mind to name him the head Omega, where he a better listener. But regardless, Carlson kept his eye on his pack, watching them drink and scoping out the various peoples in the bar that might be eligible to join the pack. The barista had been in his sights for a while. Not so much for his sake, but for Stiofan's. She had a good head on her shoulders, and when the manager wasn't around, she kept the bar in line better than he'd seen anyone else do so int he years he'd been coming to the bar. She'd make a good Omega along with Stiofan, when he deemed them ready, that is. But he still needed to think about it.
Minae nodded, looking at him as she talked "Yes, my son is a part of it. He is only 3 years of age. Such a handful" SHe mildly lamented "But oddly enough, he was the one that told me that "mumi" should go back to school, so here I am" She explained, answering his question more thoroughly than he had probably anticipated. "And that is a specific power your aura has. I have never heard of that. But it is good that you use it to your advantage. Be wary though, some aura's can be draining" She continued ".... If you do not mind me asking, How long have you been a sensitive? I was born with the ability, but I understand that it can be gained"
Why is everyone hating on Carlson so much xD he's a nice guy! And don't worry, Stiofan, he's got a surprise in store xP
Minae chuckled a bit "I am alright, and no. To be honest this truly is ideal" She admitted "My son kept me busy today and any relaxing I can do is greatly welcomed"

She had been reading from a medical textbook she had grabbed from her bag in the time that she had been sitting there. She sighed deeply, closing the book. "I do not know how you stand the aura of death in this place. I simply wish to be a pediatrician." She thought aloud. "its suffocating"
Nanix turned her head to the young man, placing her hand on the bar to keep herself up "What can I do you for?" She asked, observing him. He was obviously a bit too old to drink. Maybe he was trying to flirt? She hoped not. She was gonna try her hardest to ask out stiofan tonight (though that effort wasn't looking all that fruitful).
Having a bad feeling, Carlson looked out the window, seeing Garret with his expert eyes. As Alpha you /had/ to be able to spot trouble, even when no one else could. Carlson always had his senses turned up to an 11, and he knew it was a windy night. It was suspicious to say the least. Talking with the tavern owner, he had the shutters to the old-timey bar closed, so that the only entrance or view of the tavern was through the small and thick window of the entrance door. Carlson then went up to all the Omegas - including Andrew, and warned them

"There's a suspicious character on the roof across the street. Spread that word that we're using the back way tonight. Remind everyone, and be safe" He instructed, garnering a nod from most of the other Omegas, who immediately did as they were told. Carlson wasn't expecting a nod from Andrew - as he knew that Andrew was among the few that did not fully respect his authority. But he knew that Andrew was not a stupid guy, and that he wanted what was best for the pack as much as Carlson did. It was the only thing they agreed on.

Nanix unfortunately realized that he conversation was over, and got to serving other patrons. When she saw that the shutters were being closed, she asked her boss why, and he said something along the lines of "I don't want any of these hooligans to break the glass again" or something. A little rude, perhaps, but she understood. She readjusted her shirt- which was riding up on her hip a little - and got back to work with the other barrista, mixing drinks and taking tips. She was making good money tonight.
That's for you to decide xP I imagine its some sort of heavy whiskey or beer
She chuckled "indeed. I've got more German blood in me, you'd think i'd be able to hold my liquor" she joked
Smiling right back, she got him his usual drink, and slid it over to him. "I have no idea how you can stomach that. I can barely handle a long island" She commented, quickly cleaning the head of a fountain drink spout for an excuse to stay nearby
