I'M BACK! Sort of... if I can remember to get on, and if an RP catches my attention!

Desert, forest, plains, tundra, mountain. And I personally think multiple countries should have plains as their biome and they'd be right in the middle of the continent, just so I can actually connect the biomes.
@RainDash Yep, I am. Been a while XD
BTW... @RainDash HI RAIN!!!!
Yeah, I figured they were, that's why I asked now. I am thinking of making a character with political power who also knows how to fight, like Tywin Lanister only not a corrupt angry bastard!
That's typical. DND does it that way, I think sorcerers can only cast magic if they have their shoes written down somewhere, even if it's on their own body, Wizards however (and Clerics) know all of the spells within their God's domain but they have to prepare spells beforehand. Duskblades and similar casters know a certain number of spells but they don't have to prepare them or have them written down, they can only cart them a certain number of times per day. They generally have some kind of component though, such as verbal, somatic (spoken), or material.

Edit: I'm also thinking of making my character a Lord class. If that's aright.
Oh? What's your method? I really don't mind one way or the other, my character probably won't use magic.
So I'm picking up a lot of the conversation late... However, here's my input:

Magic- We could go with my idea for magic where magic is a remnant energy that is everywhere, those who come from a mage's bloodline know how to absorb the energy and bind it with their own life energy and transmute it into the type of magic they want to use. Those who specialize in a type of magic are more adept at turning this energy into that type of magic. This also adds a bit of a danger since if you're not good with, let's say, destruction type magic (fire, ice, lightning etc.) you could seriously injure yourself if you accidentally turn the energy into destruction magic in your own body. I can go into more detail on the magic if we go with this idea, but I thought of this a couple years back and I think it is an awesome concept for magic.

Gods- I don't really care for this, I don't know if you're going lore friendly or not and if you are then I don't have much to input on this since I've never played FE.

Map- If we do a different eco system for each nation we're probably looking at making it an archipelago continent with each island being a different nation.
Ok, so for a good map we're gonna wanna think about where we want things geographically as well as climatically. If we're in a cold wasteland we'll be far north. My suggestion, we should build out from where we want to start, that way we at least have somewhere that we can bring us all together and we'll adventure out from there.

I'm partial to starting out in a colder climated environment. Either a temperate area during the winter or a place to the north.

BTW, Ambra, I turned Legends into a D&D campaign and one of my friends is actually remaking the map... because I didn't realize it at the time but you literally just took Westeros and tossed it at me as a map XD (I hadn't watched GoT at the time so I didn't know).
I'm not, my grades have been steadily falling and last semester was my worst yet. I need to focus on my school work but it will hopefully be relatively simple (I'm taking 2 classes in Math which I've always done well in and 2 in computer science which I know I can do well in). Though all of my classes get out before 3 every day so I should be able to get at least one post in.

BTW, we should start introducing ourselves :) I'm Nate, I've been rping for oh god... 8-10 years now? I know Ambra from two other forums and a few separate rps. You can call me Danni (which is how I'm known on the DC forums) or Nate, I don't mind either. :)
Because what's sleep right? XD
