Shores of Lake Listless - Arara and Orion

The cache that dropped below the surface of the lake had apparently shifted its position, as now it was reading from the forest on Sinkhole Island. There were many underground tunnels in the area, and some of them were currents leading to and from the lake. They possibly came from underground Dust deposits interacting oddly with the water, or maybe there was something unique about the terrain that created underwater jet-streams. They were connected to the island, as people who were lost in one of the island's "sinkholes" sometimes found themselves, if they survived, in odd caverns inside the mountain, or near the ravine. Maybe some of these streams led to the island as well? Maybe the cache was floating in a spring on the island, caught on the root? Or maybe something moved it, though what could move the cache from the lakebed to the middle of the island?

Whatever it was, it had moved once, and if Team NOVA didn't move quickly, they might lose the chance to retrieve the cache completely.

I'm working on a post now, I'll have Jonah drop Naomi and Pascale off at the edge of the forest, should make things easier. I'll change things if you post first, 'cuz it might be awhile till I can finish everything, I'm working on Morella trying to Lone Wolf it and Christophe/Lorelei getting into trouble. :P

And the Unicorn's not really fighting anyone, Ash is being dragged by it and Jonah's playing catchup. They're more of a distraction for it, the actual Unicorn fight's coming up later. :P And Pascale can wake up, she's being carried by Jonah at the moment, but they can split off to meet with Jack and Tark if you want. :P They haven't activated their cache yet, though, so for the moment, they're just partners.

Oh, and Christophe and Lorelei are underground in a water filled cavern, they haven't even seen the Unicorn yet, but they've got their own problems to deal with. :P

Also, Arara's Semblance may have a wider range than Corrie's, but her's is fundamentally different, less "customizable," and more subtle. :P

Also, ER, didn't respond to my thing about the W.A.T.C.H., and now LP posted about it. XD For the W.A.T.C.H. to register you, it needs to scan your Aura as well, otherwise it has nothing to keep track of or measure. I didn't realize that Arara hadn't activated hers yet, otherwise I wouldn't have made hers and Orion's pair up, but for it to set them as partners, she has to be registered as its user. Which means her Aura levels would be registered as well. >~<

Oh, and so people/characters don't fret, the system for the Watches are not automatically linked up with Beacon's system, the only time it keeps track of people are when they're off campus on a mission, and then it only keeps track of location, amount of Aura, and general physical damage. It can keep track of communications only if the Watch user has their privacy settings open for that, or if they're sending information specifically to Beacon Tower. They can make requests for information held on the W.A.T.C.H.'s, but the student can refuse and make a case if they don't want to divulge anything, and Beacon rarely wants to extract anything so badly that they have a whole proceeding.

I'll have Arrun say it IC as well, but you guys can pretend that he said something to that effect earlier, in case your characters aren't utilizing the W.A.T.C.H.'s functions 'cuz of a Big Brother thingie. :P

And just so people understand, the Watches are powered by a person's Aura, it only needs a trace amount of it to operate, and its batteries last a long time when fully charged. That's why they're linked directly with each person.

ER, the W.A.T.C.H. automatically scans Aura levels when it registers, that's how it happens. And I didn't realize she hadn't activated hers like Tirren, otherwise I'd not have had them link up. XP I can retcon that if you'd like, but for them to be linked as partners, it has to scan her and register the information. Also, I wouldn't think her Aura levels would fluctuate that much if she's only near Orion, and hasn't been using much Aura. :/

It's a sad day when the top result for Doge is the internet slang term for a funny type of dog rather than the Italian political position. *Le double sigh* But we'll see, we should have quite a few missions planned, if we can get past the first test. :P

Also, if peeps got story ideas for their character's future, missions for teams to go on, developments, or just general ideas they think would be cool, message a GM about it. So either Me, Lucy, Asura (The singular), and/or Kait, if you got a neato plan. :P

Around Tirren, the Beowolves circled, stepping over the corpses of their brothers. They snarled, jaws snapping and throwing spit with each chomp. From the tree, the rest of the pack turned to stalk towards Tirren as well, the boy's flame attack drawing more attention than Daiki's double slash on the two Ursa that were left.

The Alpha sneered, pleased with Tirren's landing spot, as he was surrounded on all sides. About ten Beowolves in all, not counting the Alpha, who stood behind the two rows of five that were dashing around Tirren. With a loud bark from the Alpha, three jumped at the Hunter-to-be, bouncing back with a whimper when they hit his shield, although he had to react quickly to block them all. They were knocked back, but not injured, as they shook their heads and joined their brothers again, waiting for the tiniest opening before attacking once more.
