Maybe you should reexamine the time skip. Millenia after the destruction of a universe and the serious damage of another, most nations will most likely have changed both in politics, appereance, doctrine, and name. Also, this part (which is still the beginning of th enew thread), those are the first steps of nations in outer space once more, which means that the only way for nations to know one another are through references on almost prehistoric (for the in-game era) pieces of mythology (coming from nation play on th eprevious parts of this RP) that seem to be more real than they should. New nations, on the other hand, have no way of knowing from before about any of the other nations, while other nations also have no way of already knowing about them.

Just so i'm getting the just of this correctly, how much time has passed IC between things going haywire and things presently? The figure 50,000 comes to mind but i'm not sure if that's what i'm thinking.

The dwarves are nervous because the Cephalrrior called them 'dwarves' and there are only two groups that the dwarves have come in contact with and that is the Equestrians and the Reapers. Since the Equestrians called them 'new friends' the dwarves assumed that the Equestrians have never spoken to the Cephalrrior before, so this makes the dwarves believe that the Cephalrrior are the Reapers.

I would consider that more of an OOC issue, really. I'm gonna edit the original post to state the nation name rather than dwarves, because I find it a little strange to think that powerful nations have never even heard of each other before
Okay so to the Dwarves and Equestrians, you realise the Cephalrrior literally stated who they were, that they were present and pretty much why, right? How are your fleets managing to get so muddled!
Star fleet commanders at their finest!
I have no idea what's in them! Work with me and role-play it ;)
OooooohWooooaaaah I ninja'd y'all!

Goodness gracious. It's been too long since I wrote sci-fi. It's good to be back, baby!
The asteroid reverberated once, the entire solid body shaking for a moment whilst it hung in the endless, formless void of space. And then nothing.
It shook again as if whatever struck the rock was trying to crack it open for some unknown purpose. And then, from the shadows that so reverently retracted themselves from the dull light of the dim star that lit the system with a dusty yellow hue, a long, armoured leg extended. It was followed by a second, and a third and a fourth and a fifth, dragging a hulking beast seemingly made of intricate, interwoven plates of some unknown alloy, across the surface of the asteroid. It stopped every so often to strike the rock with it’s front-most appendages, studying the result, then moving forward to make another strike. It’s purpose was somewhat bizarre when observed for too long. But then again, that was the Cephalrrior; eternally enigmatic and unusual.
The Cephaol -Kyvallior- had taken it upon themselves to explore the region, and they were apparently looking for something. The slow turning of various bodies within the asteroid field revealed seven or eight similar creatures scouring the surfaces of their assigned asteroids, each performing the same unusual task. Between them, signals bounced in strange encoding which revealed even stranger voices. A series of clicks and low, throaty gurgles seemed to be their method of communication. it was complex and confusing, utilising an unknown number of dialects to convey an incredibly complex dialect through which the Cephaol was communicating. To them, the language was simple enough to grasp, but to other creatures in the universe… It was regarded as the most difficult language to learn; as if it were built with that function in mind. The Cephalrrior widely knew the galactic common tongue too, but never used it within their own social circles.

In unison, the Cephaol stopped it’s unusual search. They had picked up some form of signal or warning. It did not take them long to discern the nature of those who had made their presence known: Dwarves and The Equestrians. Strange creatures, to say the least. Tiny, soft and all with a great sense of self worth. Nevertheless, they were capable of achieving great things when unity was in their grasp. The Cephalrrior respected their advancements, but otherwise had made attempts to co-exist with them peacefully on the galactic scale. The Cephalrrior held no averse feelings to either side, and not wishing to provoke any unnecessary conflict, switched their communication channels to address both fleets directly after listening to their first attempts at parley.

Finally, after some quiet observation, the largest Cephalrrior present began to speak directly to the systems of both fleets, speaking in the common tongue with great depth and little haste.

“Ahro, Thorum and Equestrians,”

“We are Cephalrrior”

“Resolve your issues…”

“With peace and prosperity…”

“Something lurks within the asteroids”

The small amount of posts that I have are there. Just haven't been able to think of much to write at the moment, so if anyone would like to come into contact with my nation just let me know. I have a small fleet being sent out to some random place to explore.

Maybe you want to work on a little mini storyline together? I don't suppose your dwarves enjoy mining?

Titanopods are terrifying. We need more Gaia's Arms!

Agreed. They're much more docile than the pictures would suggest though. It was hard to find something similar to what I had in mind
Good to know! I'll do my best ;)

Anyway, I don't suppose somebody could give me a quick rundown of the IC so far (yes, i'll read it all through, but 35 posts in one go is heavy) and maybe a quick list of the nations involved? I don't want to have missed anything before I start writing.

The average IQ of a Triarian is nearly 900, though I doubt anybody ever bothered to check cause they're all lazy lol

I actually checked, I read 865. Still, i've never given the megasquids any average IQ rating, as that would... I don't know. It seems restricting to assign that sort of value almost without question.
