My fault, i'm misspelling.
Khalasar. <- that's what I was after.

They fought mid fall ALL THE WAY DOWN, FOR A PRETTY LONG TIME. Then they landed in deep water and it became more slime than fire, and he fought it til it ran off through the caves to the outside world. Then he followed it up a thousand steps to a ancient tower, where to the locals it must have looked "like a storm" as he described it. Then he threw the balrog off the side of the mountain. Then Gandalf basically died and came back. SO YEAH, GANDALF'S TERRIFYING. READ THE BOOKS.

Thank you, random passer by for reminding me why I get a mercy-boner of shame over Gandalf every time I read the books / watch the films.
Also thank you for having the Old Crone as your avatar, you skunk. I just managed to shake the bad dreams of her. :(
Darkmatter said True magical ability would no longer come from the sand directly that would have waned significantly, but through a secondary connection to a god with the sand as a conduit if that makes sense? A rare occurrence.

Dude, you're just making it easier and easier for my character to hold a grudge against casters. Given his previous conditioning to both distrust casters and the training to kill them, combined with his innate rejection of the gods... Somebody is gonna go menstruuuuaaaal...
I'm probably not in any way involved in this, but I think the worst thing you can really do is judge a LotR character by their portrayal in the movies. I love the movies, and I love the books, but they're so vastly different, it's almost like a different tale altogether.
Added in a Faction Sheet into my CS post. Hope it's okay.
So, SharkDarkmatter, any ideas where we will need to start our characters geographically to make the group coming together work a little smoother? Or do we just start anywhere and work independently until we're lucky enough to encounter each other? Or (sorry, so many questions) will there be specialised introductions for each character giving them something to start with?
Would it be in any way useful to make a faction sheet for the Winter Knights mentioned in my CS, or is it an optional extra if you want to add more fluff to a backstory?
Duly noted. Look forward to seeing your sheet. :P
