I haven't read through the main post yet, or any of the accepted characters. Is there already someone playing as a paladin/crusader/knight type of person?

There is a non-magical knight, a magical monk-warrior. And a healer. Among others, but they are most similar to what you seem like you want to do.

I'm just saying it could be a thing that the gods are doing without adding more magic to the system :P

Could well be, but it could also not be. We should glare at ParkDarkmatter until he tells us the answer :)
Diffusion, I guess. The same way organic matter gets back into the life cycle when it dies.

You quite certain of that? What if the magic recycling system is an active thing done by the gods? :O

If it were, magic wouldn't be getting weaker.

It sounds like your character doesn't get that magic == life. Imagine his horror if he succeed...

The magic that is life is already in the system, so to speak. The Gods aren't adding anything new, ergo their death won't end life.

EDIT: Badly explained, let me try again. In the same way that killing [Ugh I forgot her name, goddess of the ocean] wouldn't destroy the ocean, because the ocean is actually a part of her left behind. (I know she's part of the void now, not in Neyav, but its the best example I can think up.). Therefore killing her would not be equivalent of killing what she left behind as part of Enduwin. Same would apply to Trayig's sand and the essence of life as I see it. Killing the gods doesn't destroy what they left behind.

That's a terrifyingly specific goal.

Yeah. Slightly. I have reasons.

Also. if you stab my beautiful dragon through the eye with a sword, the wrath of 20,000 orcs will be dropped in your lap all at once. Not really because I'm not like that and they are unrelated characters, but I would be tempted.

I welcome the challenge ;) No but I wouldn't do that without due reason. I'm not a complete buttwrench. And hey, as long as Sariloth is available to fly Eeiys over the Gate when the quest is over, i'm sure they'll get along just fine.
Or we could save the effort and I could just Anakin-Tuskan their rear-ends into submission. It would be my pleasure, honestly.
