Derek let go of Lily's hand, "its nothing" he let out a fake laugh. He cleared his throat and stood up. "So yeah, you can take him and i'll let you take a bed and some bowls" He glanced at Lily, feeling guilty. Derek was barely used to hanging out with Jude, and he didn't want to go through what Jude went through with his ex girlfriend, but he really liked Lily. Derek's eyebrows knit together,He wiped his hands on his jeans.

"No no, it's not like that anymore. I swear." Jude lied, Jude pulled Juliette closer to him, he put his hands on her waist. "Trust me" Jude smiled.

Derek rubbed his chin, "No my boss would be okay with knowing Lily Levine adopted one of our animals." Derek smiled, looking at Lily, He got quiet, he realized he was hanging out with Lily Levine, the famous actress. He was holding hands with Lily Levine. His eyes widened a bit, he looked down.

Jude took the cig out of his mouth, ashing it on the glass ashtray. "I wanted to see an old friend," He got up and stood in front of Juliette. "Why did you come here?" He questioned in a condescending tone.

Derek's eyes brightened, he smiled. "That would be great!" Derek grip tightened on Lily's hand. He patted the ground in front of him so Dexter would come. Dexter ran to the spot and rolled over. Derek laughed petting Dexter's stomach.

Jude rose his eyebrow, "Fine" Jude sat on the couch and turned on the TV, he motioned for Juliette to sit next to him. Jude pulled a carton of cigarettes out of his pocket, he pulled one out and put it between his lips. He lit it and took a long drag. "You?"

Derek looked over at Lily, "Poor guy was covered in fleas and garbage when we first got him, now look at him" Derek said smiling. He felt hot, his hand was in Lily's. Derek focused on Dexter, trying to get his mind off it.

Jude opened the door, and pulled Juliette in by her arm. He smirked, "Hey beautiful"

Derek licked his lips, looking at Lily's. He snapped out of it when he heard her speak. "Sure." He quickly got up, taking Lily's hand. He led her into a bright room, with fake grass and all kinds of toys. He sat down on the grass, pulling Lily down with him. He chuckled, as Dexter rolled around in front of them.

Jude got bored waiting for Red, he pulled out his phone and texted Juliette, an old friend. 'Come over' was all he wrote. He waited on the couch for a response. Jude didn't care that he might have a date later, he was still the same asshole as before.

Derek smiled, "Yup my favorite little idiot" He crouched down next to Lily and picked up Dexter. "Work was fine, a few got adopted today." He looked at Lily's blue eyes, he glanced at the floor, blushing a little.

Derek had changed back into his regular clothes and was cleaning up, all of his coworkers had gone and his boss tossed him the keys. He waved goodbye and checked his phone. Derek ran his hand through his hair and checked if he smelt like dog, he didn't, thankfully. He walked to the back and greeted Lily. "Hi" he said nervously.

Jude went back to the house and changed, he sprayed himself with more expensive cologne and waited for the text/call, if she didn't call he wouldn't mind. Would he? He had plenty of girls wanting to date him but something about Red was different.

Jude winked and her and walked back to his table, he paid for his meal and walked out the door. Paparazzi squarmed him of course, he managed to get into his car and drive back home. He had a date tonight which meant he needed to change and tidy up his room.

Derek opened the text and grinned, Derek did a little dance and replied, 'Yup the one by the cafe, im closing tonight so ill be here until 9 >:)' Derek looked at Dexter who was chewing on his finger, "Be cute tonight okay?" Dexter barked playfully. Derek chuckled and put him back into his cage and continued his work.
