Jude smiled deviously at Kenzi, "Kiss me" Jude chuckled.
Derek slid off his horse's back and joined Kat on the bench. He sat close to her, his bare arms touching hers. "I trust you Kat, so i'm going to tell you something i've only told Jude and multiple therapists." Derek let out a small smile, "So my dad used to get really drunk and beat my mom, sister and i, and we had to live with it...until" Derek got quiet, he looked at Kat and sighed. "My mom and sister were making dinner and my sister broke a plate" Derek's eyes filled with tears "He was holding a knife, and he... ran toward my sister" Derek's voice cracked, he cleared his throat. "I stood in front of her and he cut me" Derek pulled down his tank to show Kat his scar. "But he wasn't done, he was furious so he kept hitting my sister, my mom called the cops eventually but...it was too late" Derek broke down into tears, he covered his face with his hands. "I miss her" was all Derek could say.
