Nikki took a deep breath as she looked in the mirror. She had put on a simple black dress, she was ready for the party. She was a little nervous, this was her first college party. She texted Derek to pick her up from her house.

Derek had changed in a grey long sleeve shirt and some blue jeans. He was looking forward to this party, he hoped to see Celia there. Derek felt his phone buzz, he received a text from Nikki. Derek quickly sprayed some cologne and got in his car and headed to Nikki's place.

A small town in rainy Seattle seemed like the most boring place you could possibly move to until you realized it was filled with vampires and werewolves. Not to mention the fact that the vampires and werewolves are currently in a huge turf war. The little town of Seaside just got a little more interesting.

Bio: Derek was born into a werewolf family, they taught him how to fight and how to control his anger. Derek learned about vampires when his mother was killed when he was 10. Derek's brother is the leader of the Pack. Derek is a hot head and is really rude to vampires but over all he's a loyal and kind person. He's very sarcastic.

As the bell rang, Derek slowly got up, he felt no reason to rush to his next class. He grabbed his notebook, and put his pen in his mouth. He took a deep breathe and waved to Celia, Larkin and Mel. He winked at Celia and made his way out of the class, he suddenly received a flyer for a party, Derek quickly took a picture and posted it on twitter. "Sweet." Derek said as he walked to his next class.

Nikki sighed and got up, "Nice meeting y'all." Nikki walked through campus with her head down, she took out her phone and pretended to text people.

"That's adroable" Derek said chuckling." Nice to meet you two, I'm Derek and that's Nikki." Derek shot the quiet girl a smile.

Derek doodled a little cartoon at the top of his notes, he glanced back up to see if the girl was staring at him. He couldn't help but smile, she seemed to be blushing.

Nikki flicked a paper ball at Derek, she was so bored already.

Derek turned around and threw the paper back at her. "Pay attention" he mouthed.

Derek made eye contact with a girl, sitting next to what seemed to be her brother. He quickly looked down, pretending to write something in his notebook. The lecture was incredibly boring, Derek couldn't help but look up at the girl again.

Nikki and Derek watched as Faeya left the classroom, the professor was still fuming. Nikki covered her mouth to conceal her laughter.

Derek chuckled, his arms crossed. Derek paid no attention to the lecture given, his blue eyes scanned the room of half asleep students. He glared at Adrian, who seemed to be flirting with another poor girl. Derek rolled his eyes.

Nikki bit her lip, and grinned. "You caught me, I've got a thing for douchebags" Nikki said sarcastically, "Though you have to admit his arms are quite nice." Nikki giggled, " He reminds me of a co-star I had..." Nikki froze, she forgot she wasn't in Hollywood anymore.
