I do not really know what to write on these things, so I will keep it as straight to the point as possible...

Yeah, right.

A few things about me...

No one should give me a computer or pen/paper when I am tired or I may be very well tempted to conjure up some crazy ideas of world domination. The writer's imagination is the most deadliest weapon in the world, especially when armed with a pen.

I have only really had two ambitions in life: joining the Marine Corps and becoming an author. Unfortunately, I didn't receive the honor of joining the marines due to...complications. I wanted to become an MP WDH for explosives detection or a Blackhawk helicopter pilot (that would have been an army career path, though). The only thing that prevented me from joining was wanting to follow my main career path...being a writer. If I had enlisted, I would have never had the time to write and writing for me is almost as important as breathing.

I do not believe I am in the categories as Anee Rice or Dean Koontz when it comes to writing, but I believe I am fairly decent at it when I put my mind to it and I would love nothing more than to have the opportunity to be published to share my literature with the world. In my writings, I try to speak to all crowds under an array of different circumstances and get inside their heads. As I am planning out my characters, I always remember there are two sides of a story behind an individual: the part that others see and think of said individual and the person's true intentions. For example, a school bully may only be believed to like the pain he inflicts upon others due to the thrill of being the bigger and stronger person, but in actuality that isn't the case at all because he lived in a home where he was taught to believe that violence is the key to earning respect to earn a place in society. That may have been a poor example (as it is two in the morning and the neurons in my brain are beginning to shut down), but the moral of my story is never judging a book by its cover and to read into it in order to understand someone before blindly judging. I try to speak to both crowds in the situation to attempt shining a light on their perspectives so they can grasp a better meaning of one another. I do not think I can change the world, but if I can open the eyes of even one individual then I feel I have done my part.

Are you still reading this hoopla? If so, you deserve a cookie! Now that I got all that out of my system, then allow me to shine light on the reason why I am here...to roleplay! Here are a few of my topics of interest...

I love anime. Plain and simple. Though I wouldn't go as far to take on the title of "otaku," as I am very picky with what I watch. I have to like the art style, cannot keep with subtitled shows, and very rarely do I enjoy an actual manga. (Naruto is my favorite anime, but what the hell were those artists on when writing those action scenes in the manga???)

-Would not mind a good Naruto RP...have done a few in the distant past and quite enjoyed them.

-IDK why but I have wanted to to an Ouran High School Host Club RP centered around the Hitachiin twins where one of them has cancer and is dying, so the crew helps them achieve their dream bucket list before kicking the bucket. If there are any takers, let me know in PM.

-Those are about the only two anime RPs I really feel up to doing. Perhaps Bleach? (Though I lost track after season 3). Future Diaries? And original Death Note RP with original characters.

-Pirates...
-Apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic themes...
-Angels and demons, judgement day...
-Aliens meets ancient astronaut theory...
-Gladiator-type games...
-Anything supernatural...
-Zombie invasion...
-Alien invasion...

-And I am not exactly sure why, but I love the (sad) beauty in dramatic tragedies and character deaths...
-I must admit...huge yaoi fan (boy x boy love). Do not like yuri (girl x girl love)...unless that girls name is Jennifer. FREAKING. Lawrence. Just sayin'...
-If it has a good plot, I will most likely like it...as long as it has strong character developments...

Are you still reading this? Then you deserve every cookie and cake in Georgy Porgy's bakery! I will get that order sent in right away!

Kaye stared at him for a long moment, a mischievous glint in her eye. She had hoped that her little tactic would have made Basil give away more information on his...condition, but she should have known he was too smart for such petty tricks. After all, he was a borderline scientist. The more she pondered on it, the more mysterious he became to her. It was a condition she had heard of before, but she simply couldn't put her finger on exactly what...
"I know you aren't normal. Anyone who has paid attention today would know as much." She paused for a moment, thinking of how to continue this conversation. "This morning when me and Leith found you, your friend was on the very brink of death by radiation poisoning, correct? Then you seem to be utterly fine... You haven't even had any meds yet you are still going as strongly as ever. I don't get it...how?" She walked up to him, standing about a foot away and stared closely, tapping her finger on her lip in thought. "I know you two were caught in that storm last night and you wouldn't have held out medicine for the sake of your friend's health. So tell me...how did you do it? How did you survive such an onslaught of radiation and live to tell about it?"
She paused for a moment before beginning to pace while in thought, circling him almost as if he was prey. It was meant to be intimidating, but in all honesty she was just doing it to toy with him in her joy of the moment, thinking she had the upper hand right now. "If the radiation factor isn't enough to throw people off, then perhaps your chem tolerance is a red flag, surely. The Smooch I gave everyone would have affected us all in the same way. And if it had really worked...then you and Jace would be lying in bed together right now." she smiled almost sadistically at him. "I know you aren't normal and I doubt your friend has noticed anything is astray with you. Hell, he's even more of an idiot than I am, so I don't think he would be capable of connecting the dots on his own with some help, you know?"
After coming to a quick stop, she leaned in his ear, "I am on to you, Basil. I don't know what you are, but I will find out...and so will others. This is my new game now. You are the new toy of my fascination."
Just as she moved away from Basil, she heard a crunch coming from the woods and quickly turned to see Jace and Leith walking towards them. As they approached, though, she watched as they made their way over.
Jace's head was hanging low in defeat and embarrassment and couldn't bring himself to look in Basil's direction. He felt so stupid for what he had attempted to do, even if he had been drugged to do it.
"You will do no such thing. I am supposed to watch after you and it would be stupid for two groups to be lost out there. Besides, if your boyfriend comes back and you are gone, he will kill me...if he doesn't kill me anyways." She paused a moment before continuing, "I know you are trying to change the subject, so I won't press you. Although I will tell your friend what I know."

For once, Jace was struck silent as he let all sink in. His ending comment also struck him silent as well. He looked at the ground and took a deep breath, trying to calm down. Once he felt more in cobtrol, he opened his eyes and looked at the ghoul. "Ready to head back...slime bag?" He forced a small smile. "Is that a little better?"
Kaye fell into a long silence, not knowing exactly what to say. She was beginning to think something was astray about Basil and had started thinking so when the chems hadn't effected him earlier; even Leith had experienced some form of effects from the chems. yet Basil had remained oblivious and unaffected as everything.
"You are one weird kid, I will admit that. You speak of yourself in the the third person almost. And those chems I put in the food...they didn't even affect you. Almost as if you ain't even human."

Jace glared at the ghoul, slowly approaching him again. "You are my problem and the bitch in your control is my problem. Everything was fine until you two waltz into our lives, fucking everything up!" He wrapped a hand around the ghoul's throat and slammed him against a tree harshly. "And that crazy bitch you are guarding made Basil despise me! I would not be surprised he abandoned me by this point."
"You know...that is what I believed for many years. We are the sole owners of our fates to decide our happiness and demise, right? It sounds so...simple, living that type of life. But it is all bullshit! If we are the sole holders of our own fates, then how did the decision of a select few bring such destruction and suffering upon an entire world of people?" Kaye looked off to the side and fell silent for a long time. "As kids, we were all told by our parents the fairy tales of choosing our own fates and living life as happily as we could. When I was a child I believed in those stupid stories. I was going to find my prince charming, move into a big white house with a picket fence surrounding the yard with a dog to run around outside. It is amazing how the innocence of a child can stay in tact even when the world is crumbled apart underneath their feet.
She finally looked up at Basil, glaring slightly. "I didn't have my fairy tale ending and neither does anyone else. That life seized to exist many years ago, even before the bombs fell. Society has been crumbling for a long time because when the childish innocence was taken from them, they realized the only way to make a good place in society is to take it from others. That is simply the laws of nature...taking from others so they may live happily. If I'm not mistaken, I believe that was a lesson taught by...Darwin?" She gave him a haughty smile that said 'I'm not as dumb as I appear.'
She realized she was getting off topic a bit, so decided to get back on track. As she continued her monologue, she turned away from Basil and stared into the glowing embers of the fire. "Bottom line, we are not the heroes of our own stories, because there will always be someone to come along to steal that life away from us, if you have what they desire. We are all the victims and martyrs for others and that is all we ever will be. If our lives suck, then it isn't of our own making. That was simply the bed that we were made and we have to lie in the consequences of others actions." Her thoughts were whirling in a tornado and she didn't even realize she wasn't really talking to Basil, anymore.
"I know you don't really know me and don't really care to know more than you have to, but I am not speaking out of pessimism...this is the hard truth that I had to learn myself, you see? While I was working on my fairy-tale ending, it was stolen from me in a split second, taken away in a flash of light and a small wisp of smoke. If you take nothing from this conversation but one thing, just remember this... It takes a lifetime to make something of your life...but only a short moment to destroy it all."
Kaye blinked her eyes and looked away from the light, allowing her eyes to adjust once more to the pitch blackness before standing up. She looked over at Basil with a stern gaze. "I may be naïve, immature, and childish in your eyes, but this is what I have left. My insanity is the only thing that keeps me sane nowadays. And I'll be damned if I let you stand there judging me like you actually have a clue...because you don't. You know nothing of the ways of the real world and are living in the clouds of your fantasies, thinking you're going to be a hero of sorts. Let me ask you something...
"Do you know what makes a hero, Basil?" She paused a moment to allow him to think on his answer. "Death. A person who dies fighting for a hopeless cause. Do you believe finding this G.E.C.K. is really going to make a difference? You think you'll go back home to everyone cheering your name and parading you around on their shoulders through town? Take it from someone who has lived it...it's a dream. And if you don't wake up...you really are going to get that hero title after all. Or lead your friend to his own death trying to make you happy."
Though forced, she gave Basil a small smile. "You may not want to believe it and remain oblivious to his affections, but that idiot really does care for you. And if the situation presents itself..." an involuntary tear scarred a path down her cheek, making her quickly look away, "he will not hesitate to die in your place, protecting you.
A long silence fell over Kaye after that as she fell deep into her own thoughts. Never before had she given such a speech, but the words spilled effortlessly out of her mouth as if she'd recited the words a million times. It was definitely uncharacteristic of her, but they were thoughts that had been pinned up for a long time; she just didn't have a situation to present itself where it might even be remotely relevant. If she had said such words to Leith, he probably would have only shrugged it off and told her to lay off the chems. The honest truth of the matter was, though, despite being on chems at this moment, her mind was clearer than it had been in awhile. Perhaps it was that nudge from Basil's harsh words that made the gears start in her brain turning again, but she couldn't say for certain. Had she even said all those words aloud, she thought? She couldn't have been for certain, but as she took in Basil's expression, she knew he had definitely heard the words.

Jace stared at the ghoul, a little bewildered that he'd said 'no' to his offer. What the hell did the ghoul expect to happen when he follows him and starts insulting him in this manner? His blood was boiling in his veins by this point and felt like his skin was going to melt away if he didn't release some of the pent-up anger he felt right now.
"Fuck that. I said fight me!" He wound his arm back and punched him in the gut, expecting him to at least block the obvious attack but he just stood rooted to the spot. "I can go at this all night until you pick up your fist and actually do something with your life, you coward! Fucking...roach-face!"
Kaye winced at Basil's verbal assault and stared incredulously at him for a long time. Her eyes started watering as tears threatened to fall and qiickly wiped them away before he noticed, but was sure he knew. "You know what...? I...I do the best I know how and you can go to hell! Your type always think you are better than me, you know? You are all the same! Just because you have the brains while the other guy is the brawns. Well..." she had no idea what she was trying to say and looked away, teeth clenched together. "I...fuck you! This is the thanks I get for trying to help someone! Your buddy almost died today and I was trying to show both of your feelings for one another before it was too late! In this world, death hits you as fast as it takes a bullet to strike." She fell silent for a moment, looking at the ground. "Then one day...you wake up to this. Welcome to life!"

Jace looked at the ghoul, death incarnate rittled in his fiery glare that he set on Leith. His grip tightened on the gun, almost tempted to shoot him but barely refrained from doing so. He held his gun in one hand as he walked over to the ghoul, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt. The gun slipped from his grasp before it registered in his mind and formed a fist before punching him as hard as he could in the cheek.
"You fucking carcass." He spat on him, practically growling. "Get up and fight me now, you bastard."
Kaye was taken aback by the sharp tone he had taken, not knowing he was capable of such harsh words. "Why must everyone assume that everything is my fault?!" She glared at him. "Okay, so I did have little bit to do with it, but you did, too! You are the one who actually put the "spices" into the food! And furthermore, it is your fault because the chems didn't affect you! This was supposed to be both of your moments!"

Jace turned to glare in the Ghoul's direction. "I am not in the mood to put up with your bullshit, rot-face."
"Probably not," Kaye said, smiling at him as if oblivious to the who situation. "But you can count on me. I will talk to Basil...promise." She saw how serious Leith was, so attempted to keep a stoic expression. It was unclear if it worked but she did it anyways.
Once Leith left, she looked over at Basil and walked over to him, hands on hips. "Mind telling what that was all about?"

Jace wasn't particularly paying attention to where he was going as long as he was getting away. The fact still eluded him as to what the hell had happened but was mostly certain he had been drugged with something. Never would he have acted that way in front of Basil. He had most likely ruined everything with him and couldn't dare face him in this state. For some reason, even after he left his side he was the only thing he could think about. Oh how close he had come to kissing him...
The thought brought an immediate blush to his cheeks and wanted to punch himself. Never would he have done something like that without the help of some unseen, otherworldly force in the works.
"Repeat after me...'I am a fucking idiot...'" he muttered himself.
Jace stared at Basil in silence for a long time before scowling slightly, if only to hide the hurt and confusion in his eyes. "Fine...I can take the hint, but know one thing..." slouching slightly, walked towards Basil until he was mere inches from him. For a long while he stared at him in silence before leaning closer. Even if you grow to hate me...I will always be here to protect you, even if it is only as a shadow... will here for you." He leaned over and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before he could move away, gave him a quick smile, the stepped before turning his back to him.
"I will be...somewhere. doing a patrol or something." He didn't know what was going on, but he had to get away from Basil lest he do something even more stupid that he would regret later. He was honestly frightened of what was happening and Didn't know how to go about controlling it except to run from it. He grabbed his gun and begun to walk off.
Kaye watched as he walked away and looked between the two guys who were left before finally settling jer eyes on Leith. "He shouldn't walk off like that."
Jace took a step towards him, swaying slightly. "Why..are you running? I want want to love you, Basil. At least a hug?" He held out his arms for a hug. God, did he really just say that he loved him? Why the hell had he said that?! The words were out before he realized it and even then he couldn't truly comprehend the weight the words possessed.
Kaye shared a look towards Jace and Basil before looking at Leith, at a loss for words. "It isn't working... Something isn't right..." she said the last part more to herself.
Kaye looked at Leith innocently. "I didn't do anything but amplify his real affections," she said, crossing her arms. "But I would have expect3d at least a smooch from them before things went south. It even says so on the label..." One thing popped into mind, though...how did Basil seem so unaffected to the drugs? No humaj had ever fought the effects of the chems in such a manner before...
Jace looked like he had been physically struck when he moved away but continued smiling optimistically. "I feel fine. better than fine in fact. I feel great. Why don't you join me, Basil? We can feel great together." He didn't even know that sounded, but he hadn't meant it that way.
