Dylan Dylan listened attentively to the Shaymin as she spoke. She had been able to tell he had memory loss, probably due to his loose tongue. He shouldn't have worried her like that, but what's done is done. More importantly, many other pokemon were losing their memories, just like he had. However, the last part she said kinda spooked him a bit. He couldn't help but mutter to himself a bit "They... disappear?" Did that mean that he, too, would disappear eventually? Dammit, if only he could remember something, anything! He couldn't even remember how he appeared here. Suddenly, an idea burst into his mind. Maybe the Shaymin could help him find the answer to how he got here. Snapping out of his thoughts, he turned towards the Shaymin to ask a question. "Say, did you happen to notice something odd a little while ago?" He asked the question, but she had her attention on something else now. Someone else. A magnemite. Here, in a field of flowers. Dylan was pretty sure that wasn't natural. This new development took priority. He'd have to hold his tongue until after the magnemite had been checked up on. For now, he joined the Shaymin in making sure the magnemite was okay, and added his voice. "You're not hurt, are you? The magnemite didn't look too bad, but something felt... off. Dylan didn't quite know what. Jade After Jade had cried out she got a response. No one there, huh? Nope. Nada. She didn't believe it. Not a second. It wasn't like trees could talk. Unless, of course, these trees were magical or something. Sorta like how the trees from that one movie attacked. She couldn't remember which one though. Hopefully these trees wouldn't attack her, if they were actually magical. Which was unlikely. Before Jade could continue her train of thought, she something tap her. "Gah!" She couldn't help but shout in surprise. She was about to believe her hypothesis of the trees being magical, when the culprit stepped forward. She didn't recognize him from anywhere. He seemed to have a V on his forehead though. Or maybe those were his ears. Either way, he seemed to have been playing around with her. Trees couldn't be magical after all! ...She hoped. Anyways, she was asked who she was, and it would be rude to ignore him. "I'm Jade! Nice to meet you Mr. V!" She inwardly gleamed at the name she gave Mr. V. She had been taught to call people 'Mister' and 'Miss', and the title 'V' just fit him so well! Wait... maybe Mr. V knew something about why she was here! She decided it wouldn't hurt to ask. "Say, Mr. V, do you know why I'm here? Wait, first off, where is 'here'?"
Progress. More like progress. Only took a day to think of a half-baked ending to that line.
Plot? More like... um... ...My brain has failed me.
Dylan Dylan shook his head once more, to make sure he was feeling it right. The pain had gone. All he had heard was someone saying 'Don't worry, I can help.' and then the pain had gone with a simple touch. Dylan got up, still a bit wobbly on his legs. He looked up, and saw... a Shaymin, right? In any case, it spoke again, asking if he was alright, and who he was. Neither of which he really knew the answer to. He tried his best to answer though. "I... think I'm alright? I feel a bit off-kilter at the moment, and I don't really know what's going on. My headache's gone which I presume you helped me out with, so thanks for that". He paused before speaking again. "As for who I am, I'm... um... I... am...?" His headache came back slightly, though not as bad as before. Luckily, it seemed to go away quickly, as it was replaced by a thought. A name to be specific. "I'm Dylan! That's it!" Well, if he did have amnesia, at least he remembered something, even if it was small. But why was that all he could remember right now? It wasn't very helpful... As if to answer, his headache nagged on the side of his head, almost as if it were telling him not to press into it too much. He went with the less painful option as he looked back at the Shaymin. Jade "So this must be a forest!" Jade had never been to a place like this. She only saw these areas in pictures and pictures in books. She had never seen so much floral life in one place before! She headed towards one of the trees making up the forest. It still felt odd, this body of hers. It was like a bunch of goo... it felt weird. And squishy. Like one of those things you squeeze and a bunch of round bubbly things come out, then go back in when you let go. She couldn't remember what it was called. Well, she didn't even know how she knew about it in the first place. It just kinda... popped into her head. Just like she had popped into this forest! At least, that's how she imagined it happened. Sorta like... POOF! Boom, forest! All she could remember was that she about to fall asleep in her bed when she, well, disappeared. Not all 'POOF'y like she thought she had appeared here, but kinda slowly. A bunch of nothing greeted her. She had tried to talk to it, but it only replied with bits and pieces of words. Then she saw black, and then... POOF! Forest! As she made her way to the tree, she looked around the forest. She didn't see anyone else, which seemed kinda odd. Maybe she couldn't see anyone because this place was so foreign. Or maybe everyone else was just playing hide-and-seek. The second idea sounded more fun. She called out to see if anyone was there. "Heeeeeelllllllllllllllooooooo??? Anyone out there?"
Okey dokey, will do. I was wondering what the blue text meant
CS Name: Jade Gender: Female Age: 14 Species: Goomy Level: 1 Appearance: Personality: Jade is cheerful to everyone around her. She tends to be the bright spot in many a person's day. She can't keep things secretive very well. If she were to play poker, she'd be out in three strikes. She can think on the spot if need be, and be very clever, but often her head seems to be in the clouds. Jade tends to look on the bright side of people. She doesn't recognize malicious intent for what it is, and is very gullible. She believes everyone is good deep down, despite what others might say or do. Bio: Jade grew up in a family that gave her lots of attention and love. However, they often sheltered her from the world a little too much, and she didn't have much street sense. Due to this, she was kidnapped on her way back from elementary school one day. Thankfully, the police found her fairly quickly. Jade herself didn't really understand what the big deal about it was, as the man who tried to kidnap her seemed nice enough to her. However, her parents only became shelter-frenzied. Jade had to text her parents every hour she was away from the house with a photo of herself as proof she was alright. They even implemented a GPS tracking device on her (unknown to Jade). Her friends were under scrutiny from her parents, and as such, she didn't have many friends. However, she was still very cheerful and oblivious. The location chart/list looks amazing!
A movie can be crappy, but enjoyable. As long as you have good company, it can be even better. At least, that's what Dylan was thinking. In a old-fashioned movie theatre, he was watching one of those movies with some of his friends. Needless to say, the movie was horrendous. That only fueled his group's witty comments and laughter. It was an amazing time for him, but his joy came to an end when he got a text from his mom. She demanded he come home right away to watch over his younger cousin (whom she promised she would take care of) while she went out with some friends on the town. He explained the situation to his friends in whispers. They shuffled out of his way as he scooted out of the aisle, quick goodbyes and apologies exchanged. As he made his way out of the theatre, he started to notice a headache coming on. He eventually reached his old run down car, and got in, his head throbbing. He started to regret the copious amounts of sugar he ingested. Dylan inserted the keys into ignition, but being the rust-bucket it was, it wouldn't start. Despite his muttered curses and pleas, it didn't work a second time either. "Well, third time's the charm, as they say". He reached down to start the keys once more, he noticed something weird. Actually, very weird. His hand was missing. The keys just floated there in the air. He could even feel the keys, despite the apparent lack of something to feel with. "The fuck...?" Dylan couldn't add to his shocked reaction, as he had already disappeared completely, while the keys clattered to the ground. He opened his eyes to a white expanse of... something. His head pounded even more, as if he were hosting an all-night party in there or something. Whispers started up, and the pain seemed to leave his head for a bit as he listened. "Pok............world...................danger.................help..........us.................sa.....iours..............aura...........read.." But all to quickly, the voices faded, and his headache returned with a renewed vengeance. The bluish aura around him didn't help his cause in any case. He seemed to be... changing, for a lack of better words. However, he couldn't care less about that, as some physical pain was added to his increasing mental pain. Eventually, his brain turned off as his world went black. When he woke up, some pain lingered in his brain, the party inside coming to a close. He didn't recognize his surroundings. Flowers abundantly bloomed around him, and he had to admit; they looked beautiful. He turned his attention to himself as he continued to lay on the ground, reaching out a hand... a paw into his sight. It looked oddly familiar, yet alien. It almost looked like... "...A mudkip? That's what I am?" Dylan felt odd, questioning himself like this. Of course it was his body. How else would he be seeing what he was? Never mind that, but why think of his paw as a 'hand' in the first place? Why was he in this field of flowers at all? Who was he? These questions pelted his brain, and it responded with a heavy wave of pain. "Oh fuck that hurts. Ahg..." He tried to get up and walk the pain off, but he fell over. He seemed to have amnesia, but that couldn't explain his last question he had. Why did this body feel so foreign? That question seemed to push his headache over the edge. He closed his eyes in pain, and curled up, trying his best to make it go away.
CS Name: Dylan Gender: Male Age: 17 Species: Mudkip Level: 1 Appearance: Personality: Dylan tends to be wise for his age, due to the world wide web, as well as some stress. He also puts others before himself mostly, however, he leans on those he trusts or absolutely needs help from. He tends to keep his true feelings and issues to himself, not wanting to bother others with his problems. Dylan enjoys to play games and has a competitive side to him when he plays. He makes friends fairly quickly (if they seem nice to him, that is), and once he considers someone a friend, he'll hold on to that title for as long as he can. Bio: Once being human, Dylan grew up in a suburban community, and lived a relatively normal life. However, being young and foolish, he tended to procrastinate various things (or at least try). Homework, chores, family obligations; almost anything was fair game to pushing back. His grades and motivation quickly decreased, and was frequently scolded. He valued his time with friends above all else. What he lost in procrastination, he made up for with general care for his friends He often was afraid that he'd lose his friends, so he tried to make them happy whenever possible. However, when one of his small group of friends had to move away, the group started to fall apart. Dylan slowly grew depressed, and with nothing better to do, stopped procrastinating. He worked with little emotion or enthusiasm. Only when he found a new group of friends did he become happy again. He continued to do his work (though still tried to get out of it here and there) and found a balance in his life. Currently he has no memory of his human life, only knowing his name, and knowledge of Pokémon.
