I'm going to guess he's been hopping so long that his own body is in a coma wherever he originally came from. The body that's in custody is his current host. There's a umber of things I could do with the source body but I'm undecided...
Besides falling temporary unconcious I was thinking that time has not passed for them.
I was not going for hive mind. Literally just body hopping. No extra abilities besides what the host has naturally. I think I'll go with some weird eyes.
