First birthday I've had since I was 19 where I didn't have to work all day! It was pretty rad.

Dancing, drinks, food, birthdaysexytimes, and enjoying the sunshine. It was awesome, not much more I could have asked for.

I am now 23.

People keep asking me if I'm a minor (as in under 18)

X_X

I'm sure when I'm 40 I'll appreciate being mistaken for being a younger lady, but... eh.

I still realize a lack of pit.

There.
Updated with Chapter Four .

Edit: It's a shorter chapter, I have had an insane few weeks. I'll get the next chapter up far sooner.
Derp.

I can't even look at the news these days. I got literally ill after watching too much of the MH17 coverage the other day. People from all around the world are dead- either senselessly shot down from the sky, or blown to bits in Gaza, or swept away by typhoons.

As Lucian's signature states.... "I am tired of Earth."
So this turned into a "I live in a shitty area" circle jerk.

Good job, guys.

My main issue is that this is an American neighborhood where we respect each other's property. When grown men start showing up in my yard and show no intention to leave or respect my property, I get a little pissy.
I live in a rental house in a sketchier part of town.

My neighbors are a large latino family, half of which do not speak English. They have three tiny dogs, one of which is named Paloma, which gets screamed at all the time (I've woken up at 5am to a big latino woman screaming "PALOMA! PALOMA! VENGA AQUI!!!!")

They almost always have people going in and out of their driveway, they have constant guests, and there are always at least four or five cars parked in their backyard.

This morning there were at least ten cars surrounding the house, including a huge rusted van sitting in front of my house. I was going to meet a friend for lunch, and she was going to pick me up so I went out onto the porch to wait for a few minutes before she came. When I walked out the door I saw that there was a middle-aged latino man lounging on my steps. Lounging. He was stretched out and had a mini stereo resting on his chest blasting some typical mexican music. I said "hello" and he looked up at me and said "hola," and then turned back to lounging.

wtf

I took another step and saw that there were three other men lying about in my yard, one in my flower box, one against a tree, and another stretched out on the sidewalk.

wtttfffffff

my friend arrived and was like WTF IS GOING ON and i was like I DON'T KNOW GET ME OUT OF HERE so we left and had lunch at iHop and when we came back they were gone ;-;

I think I should get a no trespassing sign or something, that shit is not ok.
I have a friend at one of the jobs who also works with the dance company, I'll ask him more about the pros and cons of the job. All he's mentioned about it so far is that they're hiring and the hours are long. I'll poke through his thoughts more and see what comes of it.

Thanks for the insight, my doves <3
I currently work at two restaurants, very nice, upscale restaurants. The work isn't too difficult or hard, but I'm considering dropping one of them to apply at an Arthur Murray ballroom dance studio.

Pros: It's DANCE. A JOB that will allow me to DANCE.

Cons: I've looked up a few reviews from employees of the company and from what I read, it seems like overall the management sucks, and the pay is very low considering what is expected of the employees, and given what patrons pay for lessons.

BUT A JOB THAT WOULD ALLOW ME TO DANCE ;-; Worth it?
