The Walking Dead: Desperation

Nadia looked at the new guy, feeling a mixture of curiosity and afraid at the man. He seemed to only have a bow in hand. When she heard the older man's name, she realized that she hadnt introduced herself. "I'm Nadia" she said. "I awoke in a hospital a few months ago, the last thing I remembered before then was that this place didn't have people like that.." She said, pointing at the two sliced person again.

"W-wait four years..?" Nadia said, looking rather shocked. "This thing has been going on for four years?!" Nadia asked, her eyes wide. The shocking truth made her forget her fright. Nadia thought to herself for a quick moment and realized that she was already 17. She then looked at him again. " I was hiding up there from those things.." Nadia answered his question, pointing at the boy and girl whom the man had sliced.

Hearing another voice, Nadia looked around and hid behind the big man. "W-who is that? " she asked, feeling scared again.

Nadia had hidden, trembling slightly after she heard her bag dropped. She heard the man's voice clearly and she peeked from the edge of the rooftop, only the top part of her head and her eyes showing. "U-uhm" Nadia said, loud enough for the man to hear her, her voice shaking. She looked at the gun that was pointing her way and knew it was not a fake one. She took a deep breath and tried to stop her voice from shaking so much. "P-please wait while I g-get there" she continued.

Nadia looked over the edge of the rooftop and saw a ladder that reached to the bottom floor, but not quite near the ground. She went down the ladder slowly, shaking a little as she went down, hoping the man wouldn't think she was one of those kind that he had killed and shoot her. As she went down, she could hear the ladder creak a little and her hand could feel the rust on the ladder. Once she reached the end of the ladder, she looked down at the ground and reckoned that if jumped from there it wouldn't be so bad. She jumped and landed in the ground, feeling the shock go up her leg and she winced.

Going towards the man, whom looked huge now that she was closer to him, she trembled slightly and looked up at him. "I-I'm sorry.. I-I didn't mean to drop my bag" she said softly, her voice shaking again. She looked at him with wide, scared eyes and reached out slowly for her bag

It had already been 2-3 months since Nadia awoke from her coma. Ever since she woke up, she wished it had been a dream-no, a nightmare- all along. Waking up to find the hospital deserted was one thing. To find out it had been boarded up from outside was another. Once she was able to escape the hospital, she had an eerie feeling about everything. When she reached her house, the stench of rotten flesh and blood hit her first. She shivered as she remembered the first one of them that she had to kill. Her own mother. Somewhere in her mind she knew something was wrong and when her mother attacked her, her first reaction was to defened herself. Next was to grab what she could and run for it.

As she remembered what had happened, Nadia could feel tears forming in her eyes. It felt like yesterday when everything was normal. For now, hiding out in rooftops seemed to be a good hiding spots from whatever it was that kept trying to attack her. She crouched at the edge of the rooftop, wondering how long she would last, how much longer until she might turn into one of those things. Hearing someone saying 'hey' from below, Nadia immediately went to see who said that. In the few months, Nadia had never heard the sound of a living human being.

Looking down, she saw a man that looked around 40-50 years old and she watched as the of those things went near to him. The rooftop she was on was quite near to where the man was and Nadia ensures that she was quiet while she watched him. Seeing him slice their heads so easily, Nadia's eyes widen and she accidentally dropped her bag from the rooftop as she had placed it near the edge for some reason. She gasped softly as she watch im horror as her bag fell, making a 'thud' sound as it hit the ground below.

The castle

Ehh but isn't Erik family also? He is their cousin right?

"Uhmm" Nadia said as she thought about the questions and then looked at the sky. "So far.. I've taken up Archery, Martial Arts, horseback riding and I am still doing them. Hmm actually I think I took up a lot of activities in the past.. Those three are the main ones so far.." She said, and looked at him.

"And perhaps father just wants us to bond better with each other, we are family after all" she said, squeezing his hand lightly. Nadia looked behind them and spotted Tear and Ogcnoton nearby, watching them. Smiling, she tiptoed towards Alexi's ear and cupped her hand over it. "Follow me" she whispered.

Quickly, Nadia pulled Alexi behind a tree and through a hedge behind it, giggling softly. "I just found another way out of the castle~" she said happily. She got out two cloaks from the hedge and wore one of them. "C'mon Alexi, it's no fun walking around with people watching" she said, looking up at him and holding a cloak.

Nadia blushed lightly as Alexi held her hand. "It's fine like this" she said happily and smiled, her cheeks still slightly red. As they walked hand in hand, Nadia looked at the flowers around them. For some reason, she could feel her heart beating faster than usual, especially when she was with Alexi like this. Nadia stole a quick glance at him.

Nadia looked up as she heard the familiar voice. Smiling happily, she looked at Prince Aleksandr. "Alexi!" She said happily and stood up, looking up at him. She was the shortest in the family, thus she had to look up every time. "I didn't wait long, I'm doing just fine Alexi" Nadia said with a grin and held onto his arm. "Let's walk around the garden then" She said happily, gently pulling him along as they walked. "The garden sure is pretty huh.." Nadia said, her small hands still holding onto his arm as she looked around the gardens, happily looking at the prized plants that the gardeners grew and the fountain that was built there.
