I'm honestly sick of updating this. This will probably be ny status for the next four months.

So apparently I have an ear infection as well as some other kind of nasty virus. Fantastic.

Okay.. maybe I panic a little when nobody's posted for 10 hours. I have no life outside the internet.

I don't know how much caffeine I've just injested and I'm pretty sure it was all a mistake.

Holy crap. I sleep for eight hours and we get 11 pages of OOC and 27 posts IC!
Also, I was going to ask why Kyu Jin hasn't been added to the male dorms yet, but the guy who joined after me has? I thought I was accepted based on this post, which also seems to imply that I've been added to the dorm list (which I haven't.

Just a little something to whet the appetite: Welcome to the dorms. If you're at all confused about the modifications done to your bunk and/or why said modifications were done, just ask me, it's fine. Note that the dorms will not be full: Kosei Academy is known to take in students throughout the year, and as such a number of bunks per dorm are left empty.

Not trying to be whiny, just not sure if I'm allowed to post yet or not.

Yeah, Filipinos get fucked almost as bad as Malays. Still though, there are a TON of nationalities I didn't include because it would be too much of a hassle; 95% of Asian countries are 'dark skinned.'

Especially if we're counting most of the Middle East as Asia. Places like Sri Lanka, Pakistan, etc.
particularly a 'white' Asian

I was just going to ask... what the hell does this mean? Like, East Asian as opposed to South Asians, who tend to have darker skin? Or something else?

Hilariously, I just did a project on genetic diseases, and I decided to focus on albinism. All the information is SUPER fresh in my mind.

Ha, I only did about ten minutes of research on MayoClinic XD
I'll take your word on this one.

I hate to be 'that guy' but albinism would involve light blue/red eye colour, and normally comes with a whole host of eye and sight problems. You could say he was unusually pale, but unless you actually want him to have all the issues albinism comes with, then I would recommend steering away from it. Also, the chance of an Asian, particularly a 'white' Asian, of getting albinism is freaking tiny. Not to say it couldn't happen, just something to consider.

I'm willing to take it into account. Besides, albinism is technically just a lack of melanin. It varies in severity from people who are pretty much normal (other than having hypersensitive skin and eyesight) to people who can barely function. There was an albino kid at my school for a while and he had it pretty bad, but I've heard tell of people who are more 'normal'.

Thanks! I'll add my CS to the Character tab and probably have my first post up before too long.

I think the main issue with practically every non-mutant perk is that it actively requires the user to do something, which takes energy and focus. Mutants have focus down pat naturally, but the energy cost is always built in, so there's that I suppose.

Fair enough. I'll add it.
In the meantime, I've gone through the other sections and finished my Bio.
<Snipped quote by Oliver>

As a matter of fact, yes:
1: Allow him to control the temperature of the cloud.
2: Allow him to move slightly faster.
3: If he has enough energy, have him have an in-built defence mechanism where he'll instantly steam up should he be attacked with lethal intent.

I assume this has a high energy drain on him, otherwise please add that.

Sounds like a plan. It's been edited to accommodate the 3 points.
I didn't plan on it being an energy drain per se. Kind of more like being in an airlocked room. As in, he'd be fine for a few hours, but eventually the lack of fresh air would make him dizzy. But if you'd rather have that be the main downside to the quirk, that's fine.

EDIT: @DannyRulx, My Bio is basically done. Want to read over my CS and see if it's ready to be accepted or not?
<Snipped quote by Oliver>

Not sure how practical the quirk is going to be, but it's certainly going to be an interesting ride for him!

Any ideas on how to make it more practical?
