Its a Good game, I have beaten it once as a clavat, gotten stuck on a run through (under equipped) once, and many play throughs started with others that never made it past year 3. So much fun with multiple people. A back knowledge of the game will help a lot, as most of the places will be visited, so, your experience will be like if your character got told things from the mayor, or the past caravan, ect. Though, do not abuse it.

I just think of improvising and what I would have on me at all times, phone, coins, wallet, shoes(on feet), keys.

Don't plan on using the phone though. It wouldn't do good thrown, and I think it is more useful than being used as a bashing tool.
