You had shit in your throat? XD

Aside from kiri, has any other village had their whole groups post yet?
Ren did his best to dodge the kunai which fell from above, but it wasn't good enough this time, to avoid from bumping into his teammates, an potentially causing one of them to be hit, he had to take a shot. The cold metal slicing part of his back as it narrowly missed his left shoulder blade, Getting himself ready only in time to watch as his teammate Maki got slapped around by their Sensei, but before He could do anything to help her, he found himself being blasted by chlorine, it stung at his fresh wound, his eyes forces closed as tears inevitably came coursing out, his lungs burned, his nose burned. Would Ren let this get him down though? Nope! "The pain lets me know I am alive!" He laughed as he turned his awkward flight into a summersault landed on his feet, miraculously avoiding the rest of the traps around him.

Then a voice, a familiar voice spoke, The Mizukage! "Chigetsu! Is training done now?" The boy smiled and forced his now blood shot eyes open as much as he could, fresh blood trickling down his backside, he plopped himself on the ground, sitting cross legged, and cheerfully swaying from side to side. If not for the appearance of his body, you would never have known what he had just gone through.
Upon hearing of what their powers could do, and the different windows, Lucian was more than happy to give them a shot, thinking of the main windows he would see in his games, he called them out one by one, chuckling in-between as he heard someone call crushes as if hoping it was a window.

"Friends list" A window appeared, and as he had feared, it didn't show many names on it, his parents, and maybe three others, one that was awaiting Lucian's acceptance, then he spoke to himself in a low tone, "Wow...I always wondered if those other guys were even my friends...I guess his answers that..." He let out a sigh and closed the window. "Skills" Well...that one is pretty much just as sad...Although this gamer body might be an interesting thing... He closed the window, "Well this has been a depressing experience so far." He scratched the back of his head then spoke again "Status" It was something somewhat surreal, well it was surreal really, Lucian was seeing what his stats where! Everything about him started to make more sense upon seeing this window, his lack in all physical capacities, his fairly good grades, his lack of breath when running for more than 5 minutes. His stats told him it all. He closed the window shortly after, he would explore more into his own character later on when he was at home.

He was so focused on his own windows, that he barely noticed what everyone else was doing or saying, that is, till there was a bunch of weapons on the ground, and more talk about skills from Ren. It felt strange to Lucian though, the idea of being taught so much from some boy who was so little. "So just take any weapon we want then?" Reaching down, Lucian picked up the Bo staff, "I'm more of a thinker than a fighter though...You mentioned a mana bolt? How does one do that?" Lucian's face lit up in hopes of Ren spilling it, though he feared it would cost him. "Actually..." Regaining his composure, he drew his hand to his face to rub his chin, "If we are like game characters, does that mean that we can 'party up' and that monsters drop ridiculous items, like a wolf dropping a sword, or a bird monster dropping hundreds of yen?" If it worked in most games, would it work here as well?
The sun had just risen, its light spreading over the Village of Tipa chasing away the shadows that had come with the night. The Crystal in the center of the town shimmering and reflecting beams of dancing blue light. It was morning, and it was a very special morning at that. It would be the day that the New Caravan was to replace the old, new adventurers to head out, and it would be the Mayor's duty to greet them by the bridge, give them snippets of his worldly wisdom, and send them off, as he had every year since becoming mayor. He would do his best to wake up before the eager youth and catch them before they run off, because, it had happened before.

He stretched, yawned, then stood, excited to let the brilliant young hope of Tipa on their course.

Rika Woke up to the sounds all to common in her house, the thwacking of a hammer against an anvil. Her father must of been up all night going at it...whatever it was, all Rika knew was that it cut into her sleep, and she wasn't too thrilled. Her last night in her own bed for a whole year, and her daddy ruins her rest with his obscene obsession with seeing sparks fly! Why couldn't she have just been born into a normal selkie family? the type that like the shine of gems and treasure, not the brief shimmer of bits flying off of scolding hot metal? She let out a sigh as she got herself ready, getting dressed and grabbing her rucksack which held all of her material items that she would be using during her travels.

"Oh Daddy?!" She spoke in a high playful tone, "Why is it that you robbed your baby girl of a good nights sleep before she leaves?" She clentched her fist behind her back, getting ready to deck her father in the face for such a high crime.

"AHAHA! So you heard me working then?" The Selkie, covered in a thick layer of soot from working throughout the night laughed as he brushed the black covering from his face, "I was a little behind schedule my girl," Stepping forward with his own hands behind his back, "But don't worry, it was all worth it."

Rika started to swing her right arm to hit her father in the face, her facial expression showing that she was forcing herself before not to give away her plan, only to stop before she hit him, a beautifully crafted dagger laying in the palms of her fathers hands.

"Don't be so daft my little girl, I wouldn't send you off without one last present. You are my precious baby girl after all" He placed the dagger in her hands, "Use it well and remember us in your travels. you got a good head on your body, don't forget to use it." He laughed at his own comment, then stepped off, a wobble in his walk showing how tired the man really was.

"Thank you daddy..." Rika started to cry as she grabbed her bag and rushed out the door. Not saying a word to the rest of her siblings, she wanted to leave without becoming a mess of tears. She was the first to arrive at the bridge where the Mayor was waiting to inevitably bore them one last time.
Will be posting the IC tomorrow if all goes as planned! (SO approx. 15 hours)
"I'll give you something as collateral for now, and I'll pay up if the info was really worth my time and money," Lucian spoke and eyed the Ren up from top to bottom, not liking the idea of some kid being a higher level then him, knowing more than him, and being so nonchalant about it all. He didn't trust Ren, but he did need to know more, and was willing to drop anything he saw as being of less value to obtain this knowledge.

Pushing his hand into his pocket and taking it out with a closed fist, he held his apartment keys above Ren's open hand, "Do you agree to this deal? Or are you not willing to compromise?"

Being nine times the level of Lucian, he knew that Ren should have a general grasp of how to use their powers, and there was one word that Ren had spoken which Lucian really cared about above all the other. Magic. If Lucian would learn what he wanted concerning magic, he would be willing to pay anything. What was money compared to the power to create and throw fireballs or magic missiles with ones mind?
I also support Rainer's confused crush, will he confide in any of the others about it?

Also, Renose, I should have 5500 yen right now correct? As I forgot to collect my money after throwing it.
I also should have the Talent point to spend from my crit. Should that be saved till Lucian knows how to check his stats?
Sorry, worked late, and my internet was down when I got home.

On a surprised note, Did not see it coming, that Ren is a girl.
I'll post when I am back form work tonight.
His feet were sore, his body exhausted, and his stomach was speaking more than a politician, but Ren continued to smile and looked for the bright side of things. "I bet Our Sensei trains us harder than the other villages get trained," Stepping over what appeared to be a bear-trap as if it had become second nature to the boy, "It must be because he wants us to be the best, it's so nice to have a Sensei who cares soo much about us!" With a cheerful tone in his voice, he continued on with his squad. Ren could barely see what was around him with all the mist, By this point most of his senses were pretty numb, and everything seemed to just come naturally as he forced his body to move to his will.

"Take point?" Ren let out a small sigh, "But that position has the highest odds of stumbling onto something, or someone, You guys know I don't want to fight." He pouted and then chuckled, "But if it is to keep our little man going, I will do it!" He joyfully took his position, making sure not to set off anything whilst moving. He had already made that mistake, and it cost him his scarf, and nearly his life as well. Two lessons learned there, don't wear a scarf into a battlefield, it will be used against you, and being strangled, and dragged by said scarf did not make for a fun time. His body was certainly not ready for another ride like that. "Watch out for the explosive half a pace to the left, it might be a dud, but rather safe than sorry." He ran his hand across is sore and bruised neck, 10 minutes left, best not let my mind wander yet, Knowing Sensei, he was going to strike soon, as Ren would rather just surrender, he knew this training was good for them. "Not letting you get left behind, Sorry Maki, too many of your injuries came from you taking shots for me, I'd feel bad if I never got to return the favour." With his typical smile, he continued ot press on cautiously through the thick mist.
