This was already pretty much mentioned in my last post though. My last IC post. Which is totally your turn to respond to. *Rushes*

I feel like you have taken advantage of the fact that I have mentioned that I wouldn't kill you if the situation arised in the OCC and in your responce got more defiant so therefore death is now officially looming over your head the IC, since you are trying to take advantage of my kind lil ol' heart.. My king has moved into position, all conditions have been set for my victory, Check mate imminent. You were a good opponent, I almost conceded to you it is hard versing someone so stubborn and arrogant, it is really a strong trait for Isai.

Your options the way I see it is
Get someone to clean the office and pretend you did it
Clean the office
Don't clean it and die
Don't clean it and escape before the Raikage comes back(make sure shadow doesn't catch you), if you don't clean it and stay you are basically signing a death warrant. Check mate. (Run with a tail between your legs)
"The Raikage's threat can be considered a bluff and at the same time not a bluff, depending on the outcome of the summit it will greatly influence whether he will be able to tolerate disrespect from a Genin. However you also seem to be under the delusion that should the latter be real and he comes back and he isn't bluffing that he will simply kick you out, however that is not the case. What you don't see is that there is death looming over your head and none of your dreams will come true, none of your ambitions will ever be fulfilled if you play with your life at this point because vandalizing the Kage's office is treason, not obeying his order to clean it up is treason, you are facing death not not just banishment." he paused. He had specifically emphasized death, maybe the threat of the boys dreams will finally help him realise the situation he was in, anyone no matter how arrogant will stop and think when their life is on the line

"Potential is just that Isai, potential. It doesn't come once in awhile, it is not rare but it is present in all shinobi, you are easily replace genin. There are very few shinobi that can and will be able to bring it out in you, and one of them is a man you currently aren't listening too.if we strip away your potential then what do we have Isai a Genin and not a good one at that, potentially yes but not considering potential you are worthless at this point, sure you know some prized clan techniques but there are others that can learn, the future will come and potential will always arise. Do not listen to my words however, you are arrogant and I doubt anyone can convience you to do anything unless you want to, so from this point forward. It is your choice Isai, breaking the law is breaking the law, you can try pin any name you want on us. Savages, brutes etc but Laws are the fundamental part of any village and/or society" he finished

"Now that is taken care of let me give you your task" he looked at both boys before he gave a slight but very creepy smile at that point ((Task will be given in PM as to not let out any details, so pm me))

Lol. Isai just wants to become Raikage and lead the Republic. That totally isn't world domination or that different than Naruto wanting to be hokage, right? Besides, Isai has zombies. So we should all just let it happen for the sake of Zombie Ninja Apocalypse. :3

The way I've set up my Raikage it wouldn't be out of character to kill him as well as it wouldn't be out of character to just banish him. It was a threat that Atlas's character has to live up on or otherwise he will be considered weak. So since it doesn't break character in both scenario's then there is no point in killing Isai as a character but there is no way that he isn't getting banished if that office isn't clean. I don't understand why he doesn't get one of his Zombies to do it but whatever. I'm sure he can get strong enough as a missing nin provided he keeps training. That is my take on it, if it is in character to kill and or to spare then spare the character because it is just as important as your own.

I disagree with your principles thoroughly, Durn. If you give the people the ability to exempt themselves from death, there will be issues with people who refuse to die. Not only that, but there is an inherent risk/reward factor involved with practically everything in the Ninja world - for example, the (absolutely awful) mission that has sent Jinchuuriki into Konohagakure. The rewards are nothing compared to the immense risk, so it should never have been attempted - and the risk is so high because death /must/ be a factor. They are invading an enemy village, and if they're caught and executed, they should have no say in it because it is out of their control. You, as a person, have a limited amount of power in terms of your character - you cannot stop actions from occurring in character just because you don't want them to, because that infringes on other people's rights as well. The ability to kill freely in character is a must - and those who abuse that right by, for example, randomly killing Genin, should be punished both IC and OOC. If the punishment is appropriate, the ability to kill freely is perfectly acceptable.

Exactly Tuu, what he said was utter bs, that can be abused in so many ways. If you do something stupid such as walk into an enemy village, scream I have come to kill your kage and expect not to be killed because you don't want your character to die... utter crap. Death is a risk in a Naruto rp to everyone if they don't understand the situations they put themselves in. Even me, if I as Raikage invaded Konoha that has put me in risk of death, not only would i fight the Hokage but he has other S-class ninja, just because my character is a Kage and or important to me doesn't mean shit if I put myself in a position for death I should die never mind my thoughts on it. Maybe escape is an option but still.

Just an example but still exactly what Tuuuuuuu said fuck that I don't want my character to die shit, go walk in the Kage summit and start throwing jutsu and see if I don't end your character. (Unless they are A-S class or above not in the mode for an drawn out battle where I could potentially lose xD)
Thinking of changing Atlas's name from Atlas A Hakumo to Atlas Anti-sharigan Hakumo or maybe Atlas ifanotherpersoncomesandmakesanotheruchihaiwillblowmybrainsout Hakumo

Shadow what if the owner says no, if Oda was fighting an enemy genin that randomly attacked him, and the owner said No you can't kill my character. Does that mean that character has to be spared? where is the sense in Oda being forced to keep him alive because a player wanted to fight Oda without any reprocussions. Genin fighting a Kage should result in death.

You guys all present valid points, but none of them are why I support character death. I firmly believe the plot and setting should be the strongest elements to a roleplay, with setting dictating plot and plot influencing characters. That said, I come to some conclusions:A Kage-level nin serves a purpose. If they are to kill a random-ass Genin, it best be for that purpose, elsewise the moderator or roleplayer controlling that nin is just being a cunt and abusing power. There are times when the setting can accept a beatdown from Hell. There are times when the character should die. If you're in a war and you're outnumbered and outclassed, chances are you're going to die. For example, if 3 genin and a Jounin are in a fight with 2 Jounin teams, chances are the first set are fucked because they're literally outnumbered. A Jounin can't effectively fight two (often) and the genin are just plain outnumbered. If the roleplay is balanced correctly, chances are one or two if not all of those genin will be slaughtered due to the effects of wartime and that Jounin is going to escape and probably not be given another team. There are some characters with honor and morals, sure, but overall in wartime soldiers kill, and shinobi truly are just glorified soldiers to some degree. It would dilute the plot and thus mar a setting to just let characters who rightfully are fated to die... live. No, not all fights are fair. Look at how the Second Hokage died. Mother fucker was out numbered by twenty of the Kinkaku squad. Think that shits fair? No. It's not, but it happened. Your genin gets into a scrap with a chuunin? You best hope to god he can either outrun that mother fucker, he's got allies closeby or there is a REALLY good plotted reason that chuunin wouldn't kill the genin. That seems unfair and totally exploitable, I'm sure. That's why it is the job of moderation and the roleplayers in charge (jounin for example) to work together to avoid those situations, if they can. If some punk roleplayer wants to just stroke his ego a little bit and kill off some PC's, chances are he will be dealt with in an acceptable manner as he was toxic to the roleplay. But, if someone played their character correctly, to their personality, to the plot and ended up killing someone else's character, I see no reason to reprimand them. Every situation calls for different actions and it is the goal of a roleplay and its community to not allow such grievances to happen.Lastly, character death has a fuckton of benefits. Impact on other players, added plot depth, more reality, the chance for players to make new characters and keep relationships refreshing, and I personally believe character death is one of the single best illustrations of the passage of time in a roleplay.

This! a thousand times over. This!
Prince said So, I reiterate, I apologize to everyone here I have not met who is placed in the unfortunate situation of being given an opinion of me, an image of me, without working with me. We are a community, bonded together through Mahz and his efforts to revitalize this site and this community, not a group of whiny-ass kids that need their ego stroked.

LEL dude you kicked some serious ass in the argument ahahahahha I was tempted to join your Rp just for that but the characters I usually create wouldn't really fit in with your rp, anyway are you gonna join this Rp or did you just come to have a friendly Ol' chat.
Atlas
Surely enough time would have passed and all the kages would be at the summit, at least that's what Atlas hoped otherwise his entrance would be slightly less spectacular however that was the thing with all the Raikage, they all had a flair for showmanship as well as being brash and a bit hot headed. Although the real reason he wasn't there yet was too stall, put quite simply Atlas needed to stall for a bit more time, all the preparations he was organising in the background all required sufficient time, otherwise he would be put at a serious disadvantage. Now if everything went well the only thing he would need would be 3 trust worthy shinobi by his side, the rest considered as fodder.

"Let's get this show on the road" Atlas said while running with shining blue electricity around him, he blurred closer and closer to the summit. Using high chakra levels to be able to sense the Kage, one does not have to be a proficient sensor to sense a Kage unless they are trying to hide their chakra all it took was one that didn't hide theirs actively. His chakra flared for a moment and the lightning around him turned black, his speed doubled. Leaping off the ground his built up speed carried him through the air as he led with his right fist in front of him currently housing his brass knuckle. Now he was standing there grinning, a Raikage size hole through the wall behind him and the other Kage's in front of him. 'This is going to be a good meeting"

it is not a fight to win but just to distract so that Shira could be rescued, and my character would just try and get away as soon as Shira was rescued.

If we think logically for a second not only do you have to fight the Hokage but he has Anbu as well if it is accurate there is no way even if you cause a distraction that any of you get out alive, because do you honestly think that once the fight has started you will be able to run away and that's that? Unless he decided to let you go you don't really have much option and for the distraction to even work you need to tap into your biju power because there is no way a b-rank shinobi will keep an S-class occupied long enough but even so like I said if you draw attention to yourself, I don't see you guys escaping nor do I see any of you surviving unless he decides to take you as prisoners let's not forget that there is more than just the Hokage in the village of Konoha a fight with a kage will draw all their attention.

Just my opinion
