BECAUSE I AM SWITCHING ACCOUNTS TO POKE, THIS ACCOUNT WILL NOW SERVE AS A MEMORIAL TO THE ONLY KING THAT MATTERS.

Ostarion, the Skeleton King

"Bone is strongest where it's mended."

The victim of a longevity spell that backfired, the Skeleton King Ostarion has built an empire from the bones of his enemies. He lives only to extend his reach, for as long as he is perpetually building and adding to his domain he cannot die. The walls of his palace are formed of fired bone; the streets are paved with bones of every sort of creature and every enemy; and even the wood and other natural features of his land have been swept away and replaced with replicas formed of bone. From the Ivory Forest to Ostarion's towering Throne of Bone, nothing happens in the Empire of Bones without the full knowledge of its Skeleton King.

I would really like to know how to do those titles some of you are doing.

I made a bunch of images for the members of the Ragged Brotherhood. (SilverDawn calls me a tryhard now but it's wurf)

I can 'make' them so as long as a character has an image for an appearance.

Also, what guild are you planning to join, TriNyte?
Done.

The order given by Aedius, and the...slightly motivational comment from Cordelia resulted the other Ragged Cultists attacking the remaining guards. A flurry of different spells flew in the guards' direction, knocking them out temporarily. Aedius stepped over the bodies, his two skeletons followed, he headed towards the island's only village. Before entirely leaving, he turned around and spoke to the cultists.

"You." He said, pointing to the cultist on the far right. "Call Arkya, tell her we're starting the plan. And get the wooden board which I brought, too." The cultist nodded, and returned to the boat. Aedius assumed that Arya could hear him, but he sent the cultist anyway - just to be safe.

Aedius pointed to another cultist, the second one from the right. "Find out where they hold their Lacrima. That's what we came here for. If anyone tries to stop you: Kill them." He continued on to address the rest of the group.

"Everyone else; this village is small. Gather every civilian you find, and bring them to the beach. This will be the first step to uniting them under our lord's banner. If they resist: Also kill them, understand?" He expected everyone present to follow his command - except for Arkya, who was of an equal rank, which meant she could theoretically do as she pleased.

The two skeletons immediately rushed in the direction of the town, and Aedius awaited the actions of everyone else.
Kael was finally out of the lab, it was nice to be back outside, although he found it difficult to hold both a Nidoran and a Pokedex at the same time. Kael put the Pokedex in his pocket, and continued to hold the poisonous Pokemon. He noticed that a fellow trainer was holding his hand out to him. He didn't listen to everything that he had to say, but Kael was sure that he said his name was Ted. He shook his hand, being careful to not drop the Nidoran he was holding. Kael also introduced himself, albeit lazily.

"My name's Kael. Born in Twinleaf town in Sinnoh, and...I'm...an...aspiring trainer..." He trailed off. Surely this wasn't going to be all the group would be doing - just talking and introducing themselves. Kael wanted to battle, it was something he was able to do with enthusiasm.

As luck would have it, someone in the group did mention battling, a double battle, and Kael's eyes lit up. It didn't matter to Kael what kind of battle it was, the fact that there was a chance of having a battle was good enough to him. And it appeared as though he wasn't the only one. The Nidoran he was holding sprung to life as if it had a sixth sense. He seemed to like the idea of a battle also, as the Pokemon began to observe his surroundings.

The negotiations between Aedius and the old man went on for what seemed like a decade, neither of them wanting to give the other the better end of the deal. The Ragged Cultists stood diligent, ready in the event of a battle; as did the guards protecting the village leader. Aedius has said that he did not want this event to end in violence, but as the deep conversation went on, it seemed as though it would become the only deciding factor. Aedius was about to make another point when the village leader interrupted him.

"Leave this island this instant. We shall never join you, nor will we give you our Lacrima." The man said angrily. His outburst resulted in a period of silence, Aedius simply stared at the man. Emotionless once more, he broke the silence.

"I understand, but answer my question - Do you like the undead?" Aedius asked. The village leader gave him a look of utter disbelief.

"What kind of question is that supposed to be!?" The village leader said, clearly confused and enraged that someone could come to a peaceful island and begin talking about things which are completely unrelated.

"Answer." Aedius replied, becoming sterner.

"Of course not! How disrespectfu-" The village leader's response was cut short by a stab from Aedius, he thrust his katana into the elderly man's stomach, twisting the blade as he painfully removed it. The village leader dropped to the ground, face first into the sand. Both the Ragged Cultists and the guards watched in horror and surprise at Aedius' sudden action. Although it was to be expected when he asked that question.

"Then die." He said in a cold and cruel way. The two skeletons which remained on the boat both stood, and rushed down the bridge onto the beach where they brandished their swords and prepared for conflict. The four soldiers protecting the village leader stumbled backwards in fear, some even fell over.

"Kill them." Aedius said, ordering the cultists to attack.

The ship was approaching Aroway quickly, and the island's single village was in sight. It appeared that locals had come - expecting the arrival of the Ragged Brotherhood 'envoy'. It appeared as though the welcoming party was composed of the village/island leader, and four guards. The leader was fairly old - evident by his short stature, long beard and lack of head-hair. His skin was tanned, and he appeared to be fairly weak, as he needed a walking stick. Aedius' current force with rivaled the village leader's; with four Ragged Cultists, the addition of two Wandering Legion skeletons, and a Ragged Cultist Ensign - Cordelia Mirelle. Aedius turned to the group, and spoke.

"We're here for the abundance of Lacrima that this island has - nothing more. Violence is a last resort. Do not ruin this." His tone was serious, slightly different from how he would normally act around his fellow Ragged Brotherhood members. Perhaps it was because it was a mission given to him by The First - someone who Aedius greatly respected.

The ship reached the coast, and a bridge slowly descended onto the beach, which Aedius and most of his following walked down. His skeletons had to stay behind, they were there in case things turned violent. The village leader glared at the envoys, and then his own guards before finally speaking.

"What do you want from us?" his tone was shaky, raspy. Fitting for an old man.

"We are members of the Ragged Brotherhood, and our lord requested both unity, and shipment of Lacrima from you - both of which you refused to do. We are here to convince you...otherwise." Aedius replied, smiling smugly.

Aedius looked at the island ahead of him, with a blank expression on his face. He was on a fairly large boat which had several Ragged Brotherhood cultists and an ensign, which sailed towards the island he was looking at. It was far to the south of the main base of the Ragged Brotherhood, and was an extremely small island to the point of near-insignificance. There was only one village on this island, and Aedius planned to "retrieve" things from it. He about what The First said - regarding the island; he had given him a mission to fulfill.

'Aedius, to the south there is an minor, primitive island known as Aroway which has refused the Brotherhood's demand for unity. This same island also has a large amount of uncharged Lacrima on it; something which Aroway has also refused to give to us. I expect you to go to Aroway and change their minds. Take other members of the Brotherhood with you, and represent the clan.'

This would be a simple task. Aedius had already anticipated that whoever led the island's village would never accept their demands by choice, perhaps their Lacrima was precious to them, or perhaps they wanted to be independent - or both. It didn't matter to Aedius however, the will of the Ragged Brotherhood was absolute in his mind, and he would fulfill this plan in order to better the Brotherhood. As his ship approached the island, Aedius began to prepare his Arc of Undead magic, conjuring weak skeletons for such an insignificant encounter with the locals.
I forgot to post the ranking.

The Ragged Brotherhood has more members than what we've actually posted - those are the most important and prevalent.
In the quest fr unity, the Ragged Brotherhood has recruited many lesser minions who are loyal to the First's cause. The Ragged Brotherhood doesn't have magical ranking, but does have it's own form of ranking which grants authority over each other. This is what seperates The First from say, an average Ragged Brotherhood cultist.

. At the top is The First, naturally. He holds the highest rank as he is the founder of this movement, and the most powerful.

. Second is Selk Sarvog, as he was the first to be recruited.

. The Twin Enforcers of the Brotherhood are the equivalent of commanders. They would be the third leading force in the Ragged Brotherhood. It consists of Aedius Darkwater and Arya Kilae. Their magical power is somewhat equal, so neither of them have authority over each other.

. Ragged Cultist Ensign is the highest tier rank a regular member can receive. It's the elite group of Ragged Cultists, which means that not many people will be in this division. Both Isaac Wilton and Cordelia Mirelle are in this division.

. Ragged Cultist is the middle tier rank. It is the basis of the movement. There are many Ragged Cultists, some are open about it, while some are secretive they are the most abundant of all the ranks.

. Ragged Apprentice: Past the initiate phase, but not yet a Ragged Cultist. Ragged Apprentices tend to be mentored by Ragged Ensigns, and when they show promise, they are promoted to the rank of cultist.

. Ragged Initiates are the newest recruits. Not everyone starts at this rank, but most newly accepted members do. This rank doesn't do much, besides basic training.

Magic:

Arc of Undeath

A lost magic which is remembered by a select few for being nightmarish and revolting.
Through both covert and cruel methods, Aedius was able to learn this form of magic. It provides absolute control of the dead, and undeath. It does not involve souls, but does involve bodies of those which are already dead, and in cases where there are no bodies it allows the conjuration of lesser undead such as skeletons. The undead he summons can use magic, but only basic elemental magic is usable.

This magic has the added 'side-effect' of rendering the user in an almost deathlike state, where their body parts can be dismembered, but can eventually reform so as long as the targeted body part still exists. This reforming process is sped up if the dismembered limb is placed directly where the cut was made, and pain is still felt from injuries sustained. Completely destroying his torso and head is enough to prevent this from happening. Witnessing his survival with these injuries and his ability to reform is obviously disturbing, so he purposefully beheads himself to scare people who have no idea what his magic does.
He has in fact beheaded himself enough times to the point where it does not hurt as much as cutting off other body parts.

The magic's strength comes from the fact that undead are easy to re-summon, and the magic itself is rather versatile when regarding said undead. The most logical point of action would be to target Aedius, taking his head - as he tends to fight alongside his summons.

Magic Level:
Aedius can be assumed to be powerful, as he holds the title of one of the Ragged Brotherhood's Twin Enforcers , the equivalent of a commander.
History:
'On a faraway island, lies a great monastery which covets and protects something sacred. House Darkwater.
This is their love, and this is their curse.'

The House of Darkwater was a family of perfection, mastery and destruction. Each member is to master a specific form of magic within a set period of time This is decided by standing stones in the courtyard, which glow in different colours and intensities to decide what form of magic is to be learned. In order to 'encourage' members to learn faster, many are subjected to a punishment known as Temperament, where the member in question would be sealed inside of a magical prison, forced to sit still and endure a variety of arcane shocks from the feet, all the way to the head for varying amounts of time. Furthermore, failure to successfully master the magic in question would result in exile, regardless of whether the magic was mastered later in life or not.

Aedius was a family member in the House of Darkwater. He was tasked with mastery of the Arc of Undeath within a span of three years. He was 10 years old when his training finally began. Aedius understood most of what he learned quite easily, but Aedius himself was slow at performing these spells at an adequate level to be considered mastery, and it was impossible for Aedius to replicate all the spells he read about on the first try. Because of this, Aedius was subjected to Temperament often, rumours claimed that he had been tempered every two months. This continuous Temperament made Aedius much faster when it came to working, but it simply was not fast enough, hence he was constantly being tempered regardless.

He was unaware of the consequences of failing to master Arc of Undeath.

At 13 years of age, had not yet fully mastered Living Magic, and was thus disowned and exiled, but not before being tempered several more times in a row. This enraged Aedius himself, he had only needed to learn a few more spells for him to be recognized as master by Darkwater standards. But there was never an exception to the standing stones' rule, and thus Aedius was subsequently thrown out of the House of Darkwater, never to be allowed to return, or he would run the risk of being killed. Being exiled at a young age, he now lacked the necessary parental figures to provide guidance, and was now able to do as he pleased. Despite this, he kept his composure and remained calm enough to locate somewhere else to live. Taking a nearby boat provided by House Darkwater, he sailed across the sea until he reached land.

He travelled for a long time, reaching Fiore, where he encountered a man dressed in strange, tattered robes. He was the first person who spoke to Aedius since his leave, and Aedius found him to be strange. He revealed himself to be a scout, recruiting people into the Ragged Brotherhood, he said that Aedius would have a place to stay, and resources to use. Aedius did have nothing at the moment, hence all of these things sounded excellent to him. He followed the scout to the Ragged Brotherhood's main base of operations, where it was plain to see that there were not many members at the time, and the clan was extremely close-knit and small. Aedius was introduced to The First, who accepted him as a member with open arms. Not feeling acceptance in a long time, Aedius swore to serve The First, and fulfill his motives and goals.

Several years had passed since then, and Aedius had improved his Arc of Undeath magic, and had attained the rank of Twin Enforcer. The Ragged Brotherhood's size had grown to the equivalent of multiple guilds, with Aedius apart of this, apart of a family.

A family which planned to bring about a new age of unity.

Personality:
For the most part, Aedius is dangerous due to his drive and loyalty. He follows the orders of the Ragged Brotherhood, and dislikes it when people get in the way of this. His magic gives him a reason to kill, and Aedius has been merciless like this in the past, killing to further his own powers - even if temporary. He has a callous disregard for people who aren't in the Ragged Brotherhood, and would not go out of his way to help these people, unless they happen to share a love of necromancy as he does - in which case he becomes much nicer towards that person. Oftentimes, he will ask his adversaries "Do you like the undead?" Which is essentially the equivalent of saying
"Should I show mercy or not?"

Despite these traits, Aedius is extremely calm and laid back when around fellow members of the brotherhood - a direct contrast to how he is when against another mage he does not like. Members of the Ragged Brotherhood tend to like Aedius

Team Members:
More often that than not, Aedius will travel and team up with his fellow Twin Enforcer, .
But will also travel with anyone who is a member of the Ragged Brotherhood; should he have to travel with someone other than an Enforcer.

Three FOUR Strengths:
1. Near immunity to dismemberment.

2. Summoned units.

3. Hand-to-hand combatant

4. He makes jokes on the occasion. Sometimes bad or disgustingly unfunny ones, but they're still jokes.

Three Weaknesses:
1. Destroy his head = Destroy Aedius.

2. Focus on him rather than the undead around him.

3. He shows mercy to those who share the same views as he does. Try befriending him.

Greatest Love:
Nothing.
Although he does take a liking to anyone who shares a love of necromancy.

Motivation:
To fulfill the motives and goals of the Ragged Brotherhood.

Additional Details:
He has his own unique laugh: S-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s
His weapon of choice is a katana, which he was given at a later date.

Posting SilverDawn's app, since she's not here. (And is a lazy bum lel)

The Sigil of the Beast
The Sigil of the Beast is a more like a curse, and not like a magic. The cursed one is powerful; they have faster reactions, stronger muscles, but in turn, they trade their humanity and sanity for this power. As they sacrifice their power, a mutation may happen. This mutation causes the cursed one to become a monster. Their flesh rots away, their muscles swell, their bones break upon themselves to rebuilt until what is left is a shell of their former self. They become a killing machine, murdering those around them, without any remorse. The bearers of the curse are constantly tormented by another voice. The voice is constantly telling them to sacrifice their humanity for murder. Most of the bearers of the curse die before they reach the age of 8, due to complications.
Magic Level:
Unknown due to the Ragged Brotherhood being unranked.
History:
Arkya never knew her parents. All she remembers from her childhood was the orphanage. The orphanage was a strange place. It was in the middle of a forest, so it was generally unpopulated. Arkya had many friends there, but they would constantly be "adopted" by parents. Usually, every week 2 children were adopted. Every night, there were screams that were barely audible. Children were told that it was just in their head, but that was not the case. Arkya was adopted, too. She remembers being brought to a building that was underground, and seeing another girl. The girl was covered in blood and tears while holding an axe, and there was blood all over the floor. Around the walls were adults in masks. Arkya had no idea what was going on, so she looked back to the girl. The girl charged Arkya, and slammed her head with the blunt side of the axe. As soon as Arkya was struck, she fell to the ground, and something within her awakened. Arkya blacked out.

When she had awoken, the orphanage, the underground building, and all of the trees around her were destroyed. She had no clue what had happened, so she roamed the forest. A voice kept on haunting her to reduce everything to ashes, but she ignored the voices. A caravan of merchants had spotted her, and she had been taken to the nearest town. After being truly adopted, she had grown until the age of 13, and then she had run away to figure out what happened to the orphanage, and why this voice haunted her.

After roaming for 10 years, she had met a group of people known as "The Ragged Brotherhood", and had joined their group. She became known for her ability to fight with knives, even against mages. She fought and fought, while slowly uncovering things about her curse, but she didn't know enough.
Personality:
Arkya is an adamant, and seasoned fighter. She is quick to anger, and resorts to violence more often than not. She is considered as a realist, but also very cruel. She puts her own agenda above that of teammates, but the rest of the Ragged Brotherhood seems to trust her.
Team Members:
Generally, she works with other members of the Ragged Brotherhood.
Three Strengths:
1. Extremely good at fighting with her two knives.
2. Runs pretty fast.
3. Isn't really affected by temperature.
Three Weaknesses:
1. Doesn't have any real magic.
2. Ability to fight well depends on terrain.
3. Not friendly at all.
Greatest Love:
Fighting, currently
Motivation:
To learn about her curse.
Appearance:

Additional Details:
Her only weapons that she likes to carry with her are her twin knives, as pictured above.
