I'm still God.

Bio

If we are marked to die, we are enough
To do our country loss; and if to live,
The fewer men, the greater share of honour.
God’s will! I pray thee, wish not one man more.
By Jove, I am not covetous for gold,
Nor care I who doth feed upon my cost;
It yearns me not if men my garments wear;
Such outward things dwell not in my desires;
But if it be a sin to covet honour,
I am the most offending soul alive.
No, faith, my coz, wish not a man from England.
God’s peace! I would not lose so great an honour
As one man more, methinks, would share from me
For the best hope I have. O, do not wish one more!
Rather proclaim it, Westmoreland, through my host,
That he which hath no stomach to this fight,
Let him depart. His passport shall be made,
And crowns for convoy put into his purse.
We would not die in that man’s company
That fears his fellowship to die with us.

Ahh, nice.
I'll wait for PsychoMachy to post before I go, need to see Alva's reaction as well.
Help is help, whether it's useful help is another question.
Audrunar held the bushel of half-wet branches and twigs close to him. The ground had dampened most of the branches, lest they had fallen very recently. Some of the branches he held were pretty dry though, as he had taken his axe and had taken the branches from the trees himself. He figured that if the fire got started they would be able to toss on the more wet branches, the fire would dry them and they'd ignite after that. He wasn't sure if his logic was truth but there was one way to find out. Either someone in the group would tell him he did wrong, or his theory would work. Trudging back to the mud he noticed that it was getting ever more muddy due to the rain which was now picking up it's pace and strength, already wettening Audrunars hair to a noticeable point. Sinking his boots into the mud again and again, he stumbled against Jonriks chosen place to start a small camp. Without speaking out to Jonrik first, to make his location known, he yelled at him from a distance. “I think this is a fine spot, Jonrik. Not the spot I had in mind, but I guess this spot will keep us from travellers stinging eyes.” He walked closer, noting Jonriks work on the shelter, which was working out quite well. He whistled approvingly and then turned around the location. There were some trees in front of the fallen log, which was steadily turning into a true shelter, but mostly they still had a small ''clearing'' in front of the shelter. Audrunar approved, as this would give them space to have some working places set up if they chose to stay longer.

Though it appeared like he was thinking of the area around the shelter, he really had no clue what was next, so he turned to Jonrik. “I am guessing you'll want some spruce twigs after this, to cover the sides? Should I get them for you?” Due to the uncentralized situation the group was in, he hadn't much knowledge of what had happened during his time spent gathering some branches, so he didn't realize that the others hadn't moved here yet either. Before he got an answer, he moved to one of the nearby spruces, a small, short one. He took his axe and chopped a bunch of branches from it. He didn't realize they'd probably need a mix of leaf and needle type twigs for the best coverage against wind and rain. But really, any help was help at all. When he finished, he dropped the twigs near Jonrik and was about to say something to him, when he suddenly turned his head in response to a sound that was familiar - but was also a sound you are never really excited to hear.

The bear roared loudly, his eyes peeled on the freshly killed deer. It was obviously a young bear, but quite humongous for it's age. Slowly it stepped closer, turning it's head towards Erika, then to Alva and Faen. The bear had stepped from the bushes close to the path they had used to get here, possibly alarmed by the scent of a fresh deer. And now that he saw the deer was already dead, he figured it an easy meal. Suddenly he sped up and ran towards the deer, swiping his paws at Erika as he ran closer. It was obvious that the bear was out of their reach for now - the small amount of arrows Erika had, and the few javelins that were nearby were not merely enough to even hurt the bear. At best they would merely anger him more. Rather than just taking the deer and making off with it, though, he turned around all of a sudden and took a turn towards Alva and Faen, seeing the fish Faen held as a quite prized reward as well. If they did not make it out of there in time, he'd raise on his back paws, swiping both front paws in both of them their direction.

“Grab your ax, Jonrik, I feel you might need it.” Audrunar tried to speak calmly as he could, but it was obvious he feared for his friends' life. Before he would get an answer he'd start walking, and then running towards the camp, expecting Jonrik to do the same. “I think Odin really has some problems with us..” he said under his breath, unsure if Jonrik'd hear.
Got some small stuff coming up to get us started. Working on it now.
No holdup of any sorts. :/ Just kinda dissapointed that people nowadays lack the decency to atleast let me know they lost interest before we even started and just up and leave with no words. Not sure if this is the case with AntiHero.. but really..

Either way lets get a move on I think.
So I'm gonna give AntiHero one more day to respond to my PM before I continue the plot.
I think it was realistic enough, actually. :P
Sent PM's to the guys that haven't responded in a while. Either way, feel free to post.
Unlike the deer tribe kids, or any deer tribe member, most of the bear tribe members that weren't engaging in conversations with the deer tribesmen and women were sitting silently, staring into the fire or doing some woodcrafting. As was Audrun, busy cutting the edge from a few thicker, stronger branches into sharp stakes. They could serve multiple purposes, such as a makeshift spear, but mostly they were used for traps. As Audrun had no real knowledge of trapping other than ''catch the animal, kill it and eat it'' he would likely give the stakes to a trapper. Usually, at home, he'd give them to his father so he could use them. Besides the practical use, it was just nice to have something simple to do. Ulvar was doing the same, making a wooden cup for himself.

Caught in focus on the sticks, Audrun didn't see Accalia approaching him and was slightly startled when she suddenly stood in front of him. When she introduced herself, Audrun put his stakes aside and stood up straight, to see eye to eye with the woman, or atleast somewhat the same, as he was obviously a bit taller. When she was done there fell an awkward silence. He quickly tried to say something, fumbling his words a bit. “U-uh, I'm Audrun, son of Beresford and Micha. Nice to meet you, Accalia of late Otsanda and Rezso.” He smiled at her and then listened when she continued.

“Um, yeah, I guess we should find some firewood.” He turned around and grabbed his spear, which was laying on the treetrunk. While it wasn't dark enough to get caught by surprise yet, it was slowly getting more dark and he'd rather take no risks. And for that reason he grabbed the knife he was using to cut stakes, as well, sticking it between the belt on his bear fur cloak. “Alright, I'm ready.” he said as he smiled at Accalia, stepping forward through the soft, thin layer of snow, crisping underneath his boots. He set foot into the forests, Accalia no doubt following him, and started looking for sticks which wouldn't be too wet.

After about an hour or two, he bent for the last time, grabbing a stick and putting it on his pile. He turned around and looked for Accalia, finally spottng her a little bit away. “I think this is enough, no doubt some men have started splitting actual wood, so I guess this'll be kindling. Think that people have went to sleep yet? Maybe the kids.. why do you guys bring your entire group with you to these meetings anyway? You're just bringing them to danger, I think.” He started walking towards Accalia, but froze dead in his tracks when he noticed an arctic fox sitting not far away from them, closely watching both Accalia and Audrun.

Without telling Accalia, he suddenly dropped the pile of sticks and then grabbed the spear with both his hands. “Fox.” he said, softly, so he wouldn't alarm the fox and make it run. Slowly he raised the spear above his head with one hand, making ready to throw the spear at the fox in an attempt to kill it. “Maybe if I kill the fox and give its fur to Jogdeir he will respect me more...” he spoke, more to himself than to Accalia. The fox seemed to get a bit more alert now that suddenly the two humans had stopped moving, but Audrun didn't notice that. He pulled back his arm, then swung it forward, throwing the spear towards the fox. Any experienced hunter could tell you it was ineffective to throw spears at small animals like these, but Audrun hadn't really been on any major hunts yet.

The spear flew true, but the fox was gone by the time the spear hit the ground, impaled in the snow. Audrun quickly sprung into action. “Come! Lets catch it!” he yelled, with a childish undertone in his voice. As he ran past the spear, he plucked it from the ground, after that he quickly ran after the fox, following it's tracks which were easily visible in the snow. The chase lasted for about half an hour to 3 quarters of an hour, but time wasn't important when you were hunting. Besides, if they got lost they could follow their tracks back to the camp easily.

But at long last, Audrun had trapped the fox against a dirt mound that the fox couldn't climb. Every time the fox tried he'd slide back down and try again, giving Audrun a chance to quickly get closer.. slowly he raised the spear above his head as he heard the fox yelp and scream. It somewhat resembled the cry for mercy a human would give. When he was about to give the death stab to the poor fox, both Accalia and Audrun could hear sounds of battle and death far, far away in the direction the camp was in. Audrun looked around in confusion, then looked at Accalia. The fox took it's chance and escaped between Audruns legs, past Accalia and into the forest again. “Accalia.. do you think that .. we should go back now?” He slowly walked back towards Accalia, who had fallen behind a bit during the chase as she had to account for Audruns unexpected movement trails while chasing the fox. Once he got to Accalia and could clearly see her face again, the sounds of battle and death stopped, with a final death cry.

Slowly they started to make their way back to the camp, following the direction the cries were coming from before to save valuable time they would've lost tracking their own footsteps back. However, the more silent it became, the more worried they got, and they quickly picked up the pace and soon enough were running back to the camp. When they got there.. bodies littered the floor, some of them burnt from being thrown through the fire during the battle, others having stab wounds in the stomache.. neck, anywhere. Others had bruises from warclubs being slammed against them, mostly in the vital areas like the head. The amount of bodies laying around was close to twenty.. twenty five, maybe. Way less dead than there were alive before they left.

Audrun started scanning the dead from the bear tribe to see if any of them had made it, but as far as he could see every single bear tribe member had died, including Jogdeir, Alvar, Naga.. From the deer tribe, it seemed many of the dead were the warriors, but Audrun wasn't sure as he didn't really know these people. A quick look at the tracks left by the humans implied that many of the people that were here had fled to the north west, back to the living areas of the two tribes. But there was something peculiar.. some footsteps came from the south west or the north east, totally out of the way from any of the tribes travelling directions. Audrun looked at Accalia with a look that was questioning what they should do now, as it was clear that he hadn't expected this.. on the other hand, Accalia probably hadn't either.
