Bio: Nathaniel was born in Alaska, but moved to a small town in Texas later for job reasons for his father. His father had found a civilian position in the army and his mother was raising the kids, namely Nathaniel and his smaller brother. The father was mainly driving stuff around in big army trucks, however it paid for their monthly expenses at the very least and sometimes a bit extra. Naturally Nathaniel found a lot of military kids in the school he was in because of the close proximity to the base they were stationed at. Nathaniel was good at all kinds of stuff in school but excelled the most in physics.
The years went by slowly and when Nathaniel finally graduated he had a few options. First, he could work at a civilian position as well, which could easily be arranged for him by his father. Second, he could take a loan and go to college and hope to earn back the money within ten years. Third, he could enlist in the marines corps and serve to protect those who can't protect themselves. Nathaniel had to choose and he chose to enlist, because the prospects of getting a good job after graduating college weren't so good for him. So he enlisted and went to BASIC, then went on to receive some small scale special training for AT weapons such as the SMAW. His curriculum wasn't too impressive as he had only recently joined, but he hopes to make up for that in usefulness.
Personality: On one hand, Nathaniel can be certain, steadfast and straight forward. On the other hand, he can also be unsure of himself, of others and stay silent to let others do the talking. He's a smart enough guy to realize to keep his mouth shut about stuff he doesn't know shit about, but is known to mess up this rule from time to time due to emotions or stress. Nathaniel is a good follower - he listens to orders and gets the job done, but as he is relatively new to this all he still has to get used to some stuff. He's honest, at the very least, and can make a good companion for those long walks in the sand or that boring lookout job you've been given but that's about all there is to him - he's just a regular Joe.
