I'm still God.

Bio

If we are marked to die, we are enough
To do our country loss; and if to live,
The fewer men, the greater share of honour.
God’s will! I pray thee, wish not one man more.
By Jove, I am not covetous for gold,
Nor care I who doth feed upon my cost;
It yearns me not if men my garments wear;
Such outward things dwell not in my desires;
But if it be a sin to covet honour,
I am the most offending soul alive.
No, faith, my coz, wish not a man from England.
God’s peace! I would not lose so great an honour
As one man more, methinks, would share from me
For the best hope I have. O, do not wish one more!
Rather proclaim it, Westmoreland, through my host,
That he which hath no stomach to this fight,
Let him depart. His passport shall be made,
And crowns for convoy put into his purse.
We would not die in that man’s company
That fears his fellowship to die with us.

I understand ;) either way should I wait to post till my boss guy has posted? Quite unsure who that is but I am guessing I do have one, unless I get to start my own crew lol.
If anyone has a fucking problem with it I'll make sure to let them fucking know we're playing mobsters and not 10 year old kids!

Just kidding ofcourse.
Weee, an IC! I'll finish the CS for an RP I'm gonna be in later on and then have a look. :D
Very well. If you wish for help, insight or suggestions make sure to PM me. I'm basically bored as hell almost always. :P
Cool, thanks! ETA on the IC?
Yes, I was maybe a bit too naive considering the fact that all the open ended, do what you want, kinda RP's I've been in all died considerably fast.. however as for a plot I'd have no real idea of what to do in a norse/viking themed RP.
Haha, I could very well be wrong as I haven't read up on it in a while and might've got some ''facts'' twisted up. :P
Ghirardelli said
during prohibition, police forces such as Chicago and New York were full of officers taking bribes and pay-offs by mobsters, to either look the other way, fix arrests, court orders or give up information on witnesses.So you could have local police force characters on the take, or conflicted with the urge to take a bribe. or you could even have a mob member on the police force.

Building on this, law enforcement officers had the shittiest wage ever - you could make more money as dockworker basically. I think it's cause of the way they rank up so to say.. you get money based on rank and to get a higher rank you require a few years of work. So head of the PD will earn a shit tonne of money while the actual officers to detectives earned the littlest, shittiest wage ever.

Lets just say that if a mobster or a citizen with darker motives offered them 10 dollars, that was quite a sum of dollars considering you could buy a full evening meal for your family for about 40-50 cents.

So naturally FEDs would be less inclined to take a bribe - they already earn a good sum of money and they generally hired the good ''idealistic'' kind of person that wanted to hunt criminals because they felt that they were bad guys. Police officers cared less, and just wanted money to sustain their family.

Later on the PD started hiring more idealistic people and gave them better wages based off a pay-by-caught criminal basis I believe. I could be wrong but this is what I remember.

Personal information

Full name: Grigoriy Pavlov Zaburdaajev.
Gender: Male.
Age: 28
Appearance:

Personality: Grigoriy is known amongst his friends and fellow Russians for his aggressive tendencies. He angers quickly and believes that violence is a solution to anything - something enforced by most of the Russians. The only ones in the organization that use wits and smarts to achieve anything are the higher ups. And even they know that violence is a solution to everything... but that doesn't say much at the costs. Grigoriy has spent a lot of time in Russian hospitals, which are not the best you'll find in the world. He has many scars lining his body, which is all that is left of the aggressiveness that he has.

He believes in brotherhood, family and protecting your comrades. These are values instilled into him by the communist leaders. They are good values Grigoriy finds. He often wonders why Americans are so anti communist - they could learn something from the red ones. However he also marvels at the American way of doing things, earning money and the general freedom. This clashes heavily with his idea that people, given enough freedom, will mess up one way or the other as America has shown that this isn't the case.

His values in life, bratva, sem'y and comrades, are what compell him to send home money he earns to his poor father and mother, who have been a victim of the communist system. He also urged his parents to convince young Russians to come to America and earn money for their parents - it would benefit the country.

Biography: Grigoriy was born on the outskirts of Moskva, or as the Western people know it, Moscow. He was born in a poor family, and like many before him he got into the criminal circuit because there was no other means to sustain himself. Everyone else had forsaken them in favor of themselves, so Grigoriy and his friends took it upon himself to earn their daily keep. All that was left was the bratva, the sem'y.

Due to reasons such as having trouble keeping up the profit with their activities he moved to the US. Here, he hopes to earn more money and send back a profitable sum to his parents so they can set up their own shop as they are still young enough. Silently Grigoriy dreams of a nice and quiet life in the outskirts of his hometown Moskva, and to set up his own little café and serve drinks and food to his guests. Sadly this life is likely not laid away for Grigoriy.
We can do either, I'm fine with using this thread but making a new IC, or making a whole new thread or even revamping the idea a bit. I've come to realize that just giving the players a level field to play in without much supervision results in loss of interest early on, so I/we might need to come up with something to counter that.

I've also got a few new RP's that I enrolled in but seeing as I have enough time on hand (lol college) I can manage that pretty well I think.
