I'm still God.

Bio

If we are marked to die, we are enough
To do our country loss; and if to live,
The fewer men, the greater share of honour.
God’s will! I pray thee, wish not one man more.
By Jove, I am not covetous for gold,
Nor care I who doth feed upon my cost;
It yearns me not if men my garments wear;
Such outward things dwell not in my desires;
But if it be a sin to covet honour,
I am the most offending soul alive.
No, faith, my coz, wish not a man from England.
God’s peace! I would not lose so great an honour
As one man more, methinks, would share from me
For the best hope I have. O, do not wish one more!
Rather proclaim it, Westmoreland, through my host,
That he which hath no stomach to this fight,
Let him depart. His passport shall be made,
And crowns for convoy put into his purse.
We would not die in that man’s company
That fears his fellowship to die with us.

Atami - 400spooky

Atami followed the Reishund, but it was quite obvious something was bothering him. He seemed to be more careful, not fully trusting the Reishund, even though he was quite sure he'd be able to destroy the beast if he had to with help of Aera. The Mythari felt the unrest within Atami and started moving around on his shoulder a bit, again spying on Aera, less aggressively than before. “So what exactly is causing the dead to rise? And are we helping stop that ordeal if we help you?” Slowly the dimmed fire in his hand started to grow bigger, almost as if he Atami was making ready to attack something or someone.

But at that moment, someone appeared in front of them. It was Zaria, but the only thing Atami knew of her was that she'd been there when they entered the morgue and nothing more. The flame in Atami's hand grew instantly and he made ready to toss it towards her -- it was obvious Atami was getting tired of these surprises in the dark hospital. “I'm getting bored with these surprises. Either come with us, or get out of our way.” Atami motioned for the Reishund, telling him with a quick movement of his hand pointing onwards that he was to keep moving -- Atami just wanted to go home.

Atami's eyes could, however, not prevent falling upon Zaria. He looked somewhat angrily at her, but his lack of instantaneous attack was proof that he didn't feel like fighting. The girl didn't look particularily threatening in any way, either. Aera on the other hand.. he looked backwards towards Aera, and nodded his head towards the way onwards. “It doesn't matter if she's friend or foe. If she attacks us here we'll decimate her. We're with two and she's alone. Then again, she looks like she just left the fashion boutique, I doubt she's seen much combat.” He faced back towards Zaria and questioned what kind of skills she must've had to stay alive -- surely there was something. He scoffed, and raised his shoulders. “Perhaps she's intelligent. She'll help decypher the secrets. Let's just go.” He lowered his hand and extinguished the fire, dousing the area in relative darkness again and ensuring that the three humans were covered with shadows.

The March to Novgorod! -- Death to fascists!
The Sacred War.

IC info:

SOLDIER! Pack your bags and get ready to march! High command has seen fit to order us to liberate the city of Novgorod in Western Russia from fascist rule. So we, the 16th Rifle Division, are to take it from their cold dead hands. The city is aproximately 3 days travel from our current location if we take the transports, but our first objective will be to liberate the city of Nym-storovje, a smaller city which is on the way to Novgorod. We can arrive there within a day or less. High command says that there are aproximately 200 Wehrmacht soldiers there which are supported by a small amount of panzers -- Hetzers, Panzerkampf Wagen 4's, Panthers and several Tigers.

Our strength is estimated at aproximately 150 infantrymen, and several tanks to support us. However, that is not whom you are part of; you are part of a squad which is to be amongst the first to head into the city -- you're a squad of veterans and fresh conscripts alike, pushed into the brunt as part of the first offensive. You are to be supported by atleast a T-34-85, and to work in close relations with this tank.

God bless comrades, and remember: za Rodinu! Za Stalina!

OOC info:

As of today your character will be part of Zaburdajev's squad, a veteran of the Red Army, who has seen his fair share of combat. He was involved in the invasion of Poland in unison with the Germans, however nobody would've seen it coming that Germany would attack their Eastern neighbours, with whom they had shared Poland at first. Your characters will be part of the offensive on Nym-storovje, a small idyllic city which has fallen to the German blitzkrieg. Stalin and his commanders have seen fit to order the retaking of this city, on the way from Leningrad to Novgorod. The characters can be either veterans from the preceding times (1939 to 1941, perhaps from the invasion of Poland) or can be fresh conscripts sent to the front with nothing more than a gun and some ammunition, to replace losses in the squad. There will also be a tank present: a T-34-85. This tank was efficiently the 'showcase' tank for Russian tanks -- when you think of a Russian world war 2 tank, this is the one.

This tank is up for grabs for anyone that wants to play as a part of the tank crew. If nobody picks the tank commander, I will play that role as well -- but I don't expect these to be hard to fill. Who doesn't wanna drive a Soviet tank after all? I just hope that people will keep in mind that this RP will be focussed on the infantry mainly so atleast consider an infantry character before you hop onto the tank.

There will be NPC's in the story as well -- Soviets/Germans that we meet during our assault who will play small roles. Think of a certain German commander that we find killed in the streets, or a Russian squad that we meet by chance who will asisst us doing task x or y. Also, tanks. For instance a KV-2 being contacted on the radio by the tank commander, who then assists us for a short time. Either way I hope to have interested you enough to partake in this RP. If you are interested please fill out the character sheet and post it -- for ease, you can press 'view raw' in the top right corner of my post and see the raw BB codes of this post, from there on you can copy the . Za Stalina!

Katinka thanks you for your services, men.
@Double: I think your character is now well balanced enough with the changes. Count him in.
@Drummer: I know he's WIP, so just a few tips for now:

Animal Connection: Reiji has an uncanny way with animals, never once has one acted aggressive or hostile towards him and they all seem to act like they respect him for some reason.

Seems like a cool gimmick, if you excuse the fact that we won't see a lot of enemies that are animals. Summons would.. somewhat count, but I feel like since they're a summon, and contracted to the summoner, they'd attack regardless of their feelings to the genin.

Weakness: He can only use the Jutsu for 5 seconds.
is not really a weakness. This is a limit.. say the difference between a limit and a weakness is that the limit is something saying something about the timespan of a jutsu.

A weakness would be something that can effectively counter or nullify a technique, or slow it down or make it less effective.

... he can't use genjutsu ...

This is a valid weakness. I'd like to note that up until now practically everyone has 'genjutsu' listed in their weaknesses. This is starting to be somewhat of a trend. Keep in mind that bad-guy characters will be thought up by Hilland and possibly me and Res. If we opt to go for a genjutsu specialist at one point -- everyone is boned. I'm not telling you to change it, but every character has no clue about genjutsu. So, every character will be easily defeated when someone uses it on them. Just think about that.

That's about it -- get a history and personality and you're good to go, but do improve on the rest as you see fit.

@Res not that you need my acceptance, I guess, but that's a pretty damn solid character.

She is an alcoholic and without drinking, she does suffer side effects/withdrawal

Are you planning on having her drink systematically? I can easily see you doing that because it's part of the gimmick of your character. If you do, it makes this rather obsolete as she'd be drinking all the time anyway.

And keep an eye on the small pool of chakra -- it's easy to say that you have a small pool but pull jutsu out of your ass as if you were Naruto himself. We've all done that, and it's easy to say when I'm the one looking from the sideline, but try and keep it in mind when you enter combat.

That's all, and I had to genuinely look for stuff to remark on -- you're in.

So how's everyone Odin'@hil, Kyou-chan is accepted?

Yes. Add me on skype: Vurige_Vos. You too, drummer. Gotta get y'all in the groupchat.
FYI, I'm a supporting GM for Hillan. So don't think I'm just here to fuck with you. :p

Weakness: It costs virtually no chakra to use, but as a result it's strength and damage are entirely dependent on the user's own Taijutsu mastery, so the strength of the technique can fluctuate between users and different degrees of stamina and fatigue.

This is a rather silly weakness since your character is a taijutsu expert. Naturally this means that for him this technique is strong. We're looking for stuff like:

A) how dodge-able is it?
B) can it be seen coming before the actual attack
C) etc.

For your last technique: it's a good weakness but I think it's still a bit weak. Maybe try to come up with something better. That aside looking like a good character.
I'd like to point out that simply having a surname indicates a clan, and simply being born means you are part of a clan -- whether that clan are shinobi or not.
I agree with the fact that eating them would require you to be really really stupid but for the sake of PvP balance I do think you should add some sort of limit to them. I.e how long do they work, can you resist it, is there an antidote, etc.
