I'm still God.

Bio

If we are marked to die, we are enough
To do our country loss; and if to live,
The fewer men, the greater share of honour.
God’s will! I pray thee, wish not one man more.
By Jove, I am not covetous for gold,
Nor care I who doth feed upon my cost;
It yearns me not if men my garments wear;
Such outward things dwell not in my desires;
But if it be a sin to covet honour,
I am the most offending soul alive.
No, faith, my coz, wish not a man from England.
God’s peace! I would not lose so great an honour
As one man more, methinks, would share from me
For the best hope I have. O, do not wish one more!
Rather proclaim it, Westmoreland, through my host,
That he which hath no stomach to this fight,
Let him depart. His passport shall be made,
And crowns for convoy put into his purse.
We would not die in that man’s company
That fears his fellowship to die with us.

@Fat Boy Kyle I didn't see anything in the rules about, say, touchy subjects such as rape or gore or something like that, so I'm wondering how far I can go with it? Obviously I'm not gonna write really gorey stuff to the point where it's just a show of how gorey I can make it, but I was wondering if I could touch on the subject of rape very lightly?
Aye, assassins usually get caught in the end ;)
If there's a thing I'm good at, it's creating conflict in a group that doesn't want conflict. :p
A sponsor does sound good. And because he puts in money, he gets to demand stuff or else he'll withdraw the funds - after all the king can hardly pay it all. And who cares that he got the money illegally.. the king needs the black blood plague solved, so which is more important?

I like it, I can work with it.

That's fine by me. It looks like we're going to have a very diverse group!

Cool, although I wonder what kind of skills he can bring to the table. Would 'illustrous and more than likely illegal contacts' count as a skill?
Yeah, it's a complicated and.. very divert world. You're absolutely right, although I don't really see it as an issue. We've seen throwing knives before and likely we'll see them again after this, I really have no problem with them.

It's an incredibly grey area. No is the easiest answer. Slaves are only technically legal in Southarbour, which is why many places send their criminals there. Slave soldiers are legal anywhere, but can only be sourced from Southarbour. Most citizens of the Kingdom disagree with slavery, and its only because Southarbour depends so much on them that the trade has been allowed to remain there. You'll probably find illegal slaves all over the place though.

As for character limits, I'm going to say players are allowed a maximum of two for now. So feel free to make another.

I was thinking maybe a slave trader, or ex-slave trader at least to put some conflict in given that so many people disagree then. Besides, I've always wanted to play a slave trader.

Also as a sidenote, I've seen people throw a needle through a glass pane, so I guess miracles happen.
Eh, the thing about throwing daggers is, you essentially have a 50/50 chance to hit with either side of a dagger. That said, a knife designed for throwing may somewhat alleviate this by placing weight in a different position, but for western knives it still remains a bit awkward because they usually have/had a handle for throwing, so there's still a chance of hitting them with the handle, which hurts but won't kill.. As far as the range is concerned, 50m is stretching it but it is possible to penetrate a skull with extremely heavy daggers at that distance, although those require more strength to throw. 50 meters is pretty much the maximum range on any throwing knife and I think even expert knife throwers would have difficulty managing to do this.

Throwing knives was, besides that, historically never really a thing in the medieval ages because they hadn't figured out how to shift the balance etc, and everyone walking around in atleast a leather jerkin would be pretty well protected against it anyway. Most people simply couldn't aim a knife that well as say an assassin trained to do so.

I can't say the 50m is realistic, but then again an assassin trained from 4 years old is hardly realistic either, but this remains a fantasy RP so anything is possible right?
I think you did well making her bisexual because that's a new one in the RP. I like the touch of not being able to have children, too. Being a slave thing is also cool. She certainly went through a lot in her life, almost seems like a Micheal Bay movie at some point, take that as you will.

I think, atleast in terms of equipment, you would do well to remove terms such as 'a good amount' since this is subjective and to anyone this could mean between 1 and 100. But I am not Fat Boy Kyle and I cannot approve or disprove of your character, this is just opinion since you asked for it.

@Fat Boy Kyle is slavery legal in Vahili? If so I have an idea for a character, if you'd allow me to have 2.
I don't know really, never really liked assassins for characters.
