1. Each of the races has their own province, as mentioned in the "blessings of the sentient races" tab in the main post. cities/regions/organizations are fine. No capitols, though. I'll be establishing the capitols. I planned to do so in the first IC post, but if you'd like to know I can tell you now. 2. Body magic could vary from type to type as far as power/control goes. For example, something like enhanced strength or jumping ability would be power, while something like partial invisibility would be control. The ideal body mage would have equal vas wein distribution on all parts of the skin. So a body mage would be kind of like a jack of all trades. He/she would be capable of all types of magic, but not be particularly good or bad at any type. So the glorin vas of a body mage would be moderately sized (medium power & control), with vas wein of equal measure throughout the body.

Sounds good! If I have any more questions I'll ask. Chezka and I are working towards the basis for our CS's now.
Just curious, but what are the cultures of the different races like? How much...control do we have over the race of our character? Like for example, can we create our own cities/regions/organizations for backstory? Or is all that already set in stone?

Edit for additional question: Would body magic such as enhanced strength or speed be more control or capacity? What Glorin Vas would control that?
I'll be going for an elven mage, but his style will be more of an eldritch knight than pure mage. I'm thinking definitely more of a novice mage who uses his magic to enhance his physical skills. He would have a large glorin vas and is incapable of controlling spells of any real delicacy which is why he focused more on just the enhancement of the body.

That's the basic premise if anyone wishes to partner up. This character would probably be good for a master level magician to partner with. I'm open to all ideas though.

If one person has two characters Chezka it'd work out with an even 10. Pasta seems interested in having two characters, so that'd work. alright people, definitely enough interest! I'll be adding in the "how magic works" bit to the OOC and posting it tonight. I'll link it once it's up, you're all welcome to use the OOC (once it's up) or here to find a partner beforehand. I'll be accepting CSs as soon as it goes up.

Err..I'm only interested in having one. Sorry if there was some confusion in my previous posts from that. I would offer to play two, but considering my skill level in this area It's probably best if I stick to one at least for now. Looks like we are getting more interests though.
Well looks like we got eight characters so far, and two of these are from the last rendition. For partnering up, I'm going with the base premise of a Human Fire Mage. Pretty flexible in working with another character's history. So if anyone has some ideas in mind and wishes to partner up, let me know.
I like it. In a way it gives off both a Naruto chakra vibe, but also a more esoteric art more in line with fantasy. Very interested to see how it will play out in the RP. I see lots of opportunities for Roleplay growth with it. Are there any limits beyond control/capacity? I imagine that the more fantastical the spell the more cost/control it will require, but are there any hard limits or impossibilities such as resurrection?
Definitely interested as well! I'm not 'new' to Roleplay, but I would be hesitant to say I'm advanced in this arena. Most of my RP experience (several years) has been in MMOs with the chat window being the primary method of communication, but I've done a bit of forum RP. So if y'all will have me I'd love to participate and hopefully contribute to a great setting.

Edit: What's the magic system like? DnD style? Or something different?
Gotcha. Thanks for the replies. Considering all the connections already being made to the Bat-family, I think I'll head a different route. Hmmm...I think I'll go for a male Raven. Always love that character. Off to make the character sheet!!
Definitely interested. I'm curious though as to what the Dick Grayson role is heading towards? Is there room for a Tim Drake?

Also, how much can characters be changed? Gender bending allowed?
