I wonder if this place would ever run a proper Play By Post with dice rolls and whatnot.

The average life expectancy of RPs here leave something to be desired.

Ah yes, looking up words in Google Translate. Used an actual paperback dictionary back in the day, but still - looks like I'm back in the saddle.

It's not the size of the brain that counts, it's how you wield it

Ezekiel frowned at the doctor. He was surprised that the treasure hunt was to take place in the facility. On one hand, it was a good way for them to get to know the place and its various services. But it was also kind of counterproductive - they weren't given a tour of the place, and he at least had no idea where everything was. Were they expected to simply annoy the staff with questions about where was what?

He craned his neck to see the reactions of the other prisoners. In this situation, someone was expected to stand up, anoint themselves as the impromptu leader, and lead everyone to safety. But the company seemed to be brooding at best. Maybe other than Flippy, but he was creepy as hell and Ezekiel wasn't sure his attempts at moving everyone would work.

He rubbed his eyes in exasperation. Talking to Vlad seemed easier to him than talking to any of the others. He raised his hand again. "Is there a map of this facility we can use?"
Fear was strange, when it had no chemical effects on the body. Moving down the hall, the labcoat looked at Edith's back with a new kind of admiration. He was busy freezing in fight-or-flight when she grabbed the gun from his hands and punctured the metal nightmare that barged into the infirmary. In fact, he could not move for the next few seconds, and had to physically push himself away from the desk to make his feet move and follow the two women. Any normal person would enjoy an adrenaline boost after this kind of event, but Chris had to actively decide to have one, and he did. It helped a little, the effect allowing him to focus on a single thing without worrying about the 1001 kinds of death he could experience in the facility.

When they reached Ryan's holding cell, he was busy looking over his shoulder and listening for metallic footsteps or gunfire, and didn't notice the large man charging at him until he was upon him. What followed was an instinctive reaction more than a calculated one - his arms threw themselves upwards as his labcoat was lifted, and with a quick spin he dove out of it and under Ryan's wide arm, leaving the empty garment in his hands. Marginally out of the man's reach, he took a few seconds to assess the situation through the fog of an induced adrenaline rush.

"Hey. Calm down. I am with them." He threw up his hands, taking care of staying out of the man's reach. He realized Ryan was even larger up close, and really hated to be stuck in the crossfire between a huge mutant and an army of metallic death machines. "We're here to grab you and get out. Right? Tell him." He waved a hand at the teleporting girl over his shoulder.

I'll take a look at it :) Peach I think the name is, has expressed interest, but we haven't discussed anything yet.

Peach yourself!

But yes, I am still interested in being COGM.
Carrie felt her entire face take up arms in an attempted coup. She bit her lip hard, trying not to show it. This part about the new guy she hated the most - talking to him was like prying your eyes out with a wine bottle opener. He just wouldn't look away, his peepers boring through your skull like high-powered lasers. It excited her somehow, but in practice, resisting it was harder than she remembered.

"Why." He asked in his monotone. She really couldn't see what she found in him, sometimes. The guy was a concrete block, a mannequin from a shop window, a failed attempt at a service droid. But damn, he was cute, with those glasses of his, and he always seemed to just be there whenever she had trouble with the instruments, and he was never tired of helping. And he never looked at her chest, no matter what she wore. This angered her as much as satisfied her.

Yes, it was hard, but it was most likely worth it. She would find out tonight.

"Why? You idiot." She pushed him in the shoulder accusingly with a finger. He didn't resist. "Because we've been stuffed in this lab ever since it was built, and I wanna go see the city for once! And there's a great show tonight, in a makeshift club they've built in an abandoned hospital. This is where you meet all the weird kids. It's gonna be awesome."

She stared hard into his face, looking for anything, a sign he had heard her words. She was about to give up, when he said, "Sure. I could use the..." He suddenly stopped, blinked, looked away. His face was still blank, but his eyes were darting, a clear sign of nervousness. She was about to reach out to him but his head snapped upright so suddenly it made her gasp. "Yes. I'll come."

Carrie sighed heavily, brushing her hair away from her face with a hand. What was it with her and men who played hard to get? She almost jumped away when he put his hand on her arm. "Thanks for taking me." he said, and smiled. She couldn't bear to watch. "Yeah, yeah." She pushed him away. "Just - you do have something to wear that isn't this, do you? I mean, nothing wrong with it, just, yknow, don't look like you're the electrician coming to change the lightbulbs. I'm gonna look awesome and you better do too. Though I guess it's fine, just add some non-boring stuff to it and you're good."

Christopher Abu-Machlouf, the biolab's resident applied physicist, looked down on his clothes in time for Carrie, the biomedicine graduate, to boop him on the nose. She clicked a gun finger at him and went back to work. He rubbed his head, a very human gesture for someone who looked like the result of poor motion-capture CGI character. He was, in fact, completely terrified. But one party shouldn't kill him, should it?
Hmm... So I have to force my character into this rave? Well, yes, I guess I could. Are non-mutants allowed?
So with the recent post of beginning the IC I was thinking that we introduce our characters and have them all getting ready for the rave in some fashion. From the rave we can interact for a little while which would give partial reason for them to attempt to escape the Dogs, which i'll also be setting up.

Also, as far as initial introductory posts go and then your second and so forth posts go, i'd like it if you waited at least for two others to post before you.

Yeah, I'm kind of at a loss for the first post as well. Who are these Dogs?
Here's a character draft (BIO is done-ish)

Everybody's dead, Jim.

I'm out. This RP is lowering my maximum mana, and unjustly so.
I'd like to apply for CO-GM.

Or if you already have someone, I'd want to join as a character. I have a sheet ready, just have to fit the story. The guy is a physicist, and his power is bioelectrical signal manipulation inside the bodies of people, to unlock the full potential of the human body. There's quite a bit of details I've written up, but the guy basically can push himself slightly beyond human capability in all physical parameters (not simultaneously) and can also induce fast regeneration in himself or in others.
