I keep coming back here very so often, as if it would make my wanting to return any better. I don't know why that would be. I would just disappear again and regret it again, I'm sure.

I'm just... really in a bad time. I feel awful. I'm don't think I have the strength of will to show my face here again after letting everyone down.

No offense, Kael, but you seem to use more commas than you do periods. It makes your paragraphs into sets of run-on sentences, which to me is very poor writing form (and a little exhausting to read).
I think we're all waiting a bit on Noble. On his defense, though, his working hours are very unpredictable, but still, stuff needs to keep moving.
Sazh was absolutely stunned by the display of power the shadow-man put forth. Sazh knew powerful beings that would rather opt to deflect the blast or just take it and smile, but this 'Viewer' put forth a massive display of power just to get rid of a ball of magic fire. It was easy to assume that he could annihilate any of them here just as easily. Or could he? The l'Cie took note of the greater lacking of translucency that the Viewer had before the use of his powers, which hinted towards him being near the end of his immortality. But he still had enough power to grant one wish of any (and possibly all) the individuals in this room.

It was very tempting, and Sazh was sure most anyone could attest to. Any wish, any scenario, exactly as you imagine it, brought to fruition. The older man definitely knew of at least 3 things he would most ever want like this...

The only catch: to complete all of his trials. This, Sazh couldn't bring himself to agree with. Despite the apparent sincerity of the Viewer's welcoming, his demonstration of such dark, horrifying power seemed to speak volumes to the l'Cie in the other direction. Even if that was what he had been doing for all of his existence, who was to say that there was no some sort of special condition, now that this was the end of him?

The red-cloaked, yellow-spiked guy (the name was something like... Mash? He'd have to ask again later) also brought up some good points. The specifics of to what extent wishes worked and how much they were going to have to do to get a wish granted would end up being pretty vital. Otherwise, most of the people were rather resigned to allow this event to occur.

Except for one person. Sorin Markov, 'Prince of All Vampires and Lord of Innistrad', and supposedly a master of planes (dimensional ones, Sazh presumed after a moment of thought). That man was not just content to refuse, but he had to outright threaten the Viewer's very presence in reality. Good lord, they don't get much more evil than this, Sazh practically shuddered.

"Uh, yeah..." Sazh started, still maintaining a good degree of caution. "How can we trust you? Even if we do clear every 'trial' you have to offer, what's to say you'll hold your end of the deal?" A legitimate question, surely, and the only one Sazh was ultimately worried about. Otherwise, going through all the perilous hoops of a Pulse l'Cie's existence was surely much worse than some 'trials'.

Of course, the old man had been wrong before.
I was waiting for you to get a new monitor, as I assumed you would put this roleplay on hiatus, not outright kill it like some dork.

So, hey, it all works out!
Sounds very similar to FTL's use of beacons, I must say.
I edited the Jotunheim's loadout of ships for more variety.

As for Wave Cannons, I should explain a bit more. The R-9A Arrowhead's Wave Cannon has enough power to destroy only one ship slightly large than it, and the Arrowhead is slightly smaller that a fighter jet. The R-9D Shooting Star's Wave Cannon is longer and more accurate, but takes longer to charge and has just as much potential to miss the intended target. The Jotunheim's Wave Cannon will be large and strong, sure, but for the purposes of this RP will lack the stopping power to outright destroy everything and take a much longer time to charge.

Plus, all of the Wave Cannons are wave-motion energy projectiles, so they can all be negated with adequate shielding of any kind. The Jotunheim's Wave Cannon can ignore that, but it's slow enough to mostly avoid if you can see it coming.

Sorry if this is long and rambling, I just want to justify my secondary ship as not being too overpowered.
"Anything yet?"

"Nothing beyond simple identification and weapon readings, sir," Sam replied to Bradley's anticipation, sighing in defeat. "Ship layouts are too large to scan properly, and we can't penetrate their integral data. No offense, sir, but this ship wasn't made for in-depth reconnaissance."

"Acknowledged," Bradley responded, unintentionally mirroring Sam's sigh. "...How about the Imperials?"

Sam perked up a bit, probably eager for a change of topic. "They've already sent out... three shuttles, all docked with other ships. It wouldn't be unreasonable to assume we're in queue," the lady reported. With a glance out of the corner of the bridge's viewport, Bradley confirmed her report, noting the shuttle docking with the Andromeda. But out of the other side-

“Extra-Galactic vessels, on behalf of the UNSC I would like to formally apologize for the actions of our cyberwarfare suite, it acted of its own initiative and against standing orders. We have gathered data on our current location and are willing to share this data as an act of good faith. This channel will remain open as a direct line to the bridge of the UNSC Icarus and its command crew. Caber out.”

Bradley narrowed his eyes at the transmission as he witnessed the Icarus moving into parallel position with the Osprey and the Andromeda. A cyberwarfare suite acting out of line? That would be only attributed to a particularly feisty A.I. While Bradley acknowledged that practically all ships had some form of automation in its systems, rarely was a fully-fledged A.I. used in the Federation, precisely for this sort of reason. The Icarus was already putting itself in bad standings with everyone else, and they knew it.

The pilot was snapped back to attention by a comm from Klehhi. "Hey, skinnie, get in a better position so we can shoot 'em! C'mon!" When the only response was a stern stare from his superior, he craned, "Don't me you're NOT going to shoot them! My terminal's all flecked up because of those-"

"Not our problem right now, Klehhi. You'll just have t-"

"We DO NOT comply with these orders, pigs. Your empire is STUPID.. And.. And.. DUMB. Communism is the only way. I demand an immediate restructure of your government to give power to the workers."

"And why is it not our problem?" Sturm boomed from another comm. "Their actions have resulted in the exposure of critical mission data, and the loss of our ally Michiel! Do not tell me, human, that you do not seek retribution for such actions-"

"ENOUGH!" Bradley's voice pounded over the ship-wide comms. "In case none of you have bothered to notice, we currently remain literally surrounded by individual vessels with far more size, power and influence than us. That cyber attack was only raw evidence of what ONE ship was capable of without even TRYING to harm us! Wherever or whenever we currently are, our aim is still to return back to the Federation's last stand and destroy the Rebel Flagship. If there is a risk of us being destroyed before that happens, we are NOT taking it! Understood?" Bradley's face was pale-red in anger at the overwhelming series of unfortunate events.
It took Sazh a moment to determine the source of the noises, but once he did focus on the darker corner, he saw it. So, that was the individual who brought this building here, and by extension all the other environments and all of the other people, too. It wasn't like this guy was acting hostile at all - he rather reminded Sazh of a villain from an old cartoon, the name of which escaped him - but it was the individual's potential that kept Sazh on edge. You couldn't just congregate so many places and people together as it was right now without having powers near-equivalent to a god. Sazh did step forward more, but took care to stand his ground in caution.

And he would've remained content to stay there and ask his questions from a reasonable distance until he saw the swordswoman striding much father up, drawing some sort of sword. For a few split-seconds, Sazh could only stare in disbelief at what she was attempting; he even took care to add yet another similarity with Lightning. But finally he did react, as Saber was talking, by dashing out in pursuit, with Morito and his safety being a secondary afterthought.

"H-hey now, hold up," Sazh tried to reach out to Saber in his own panic, "No offense to you or anything, but this really isn't the kind of guy you want to go pointing weapons-" His ramblings were interrupted by a fireball that surged right past the two of them, hitting the shadowed corner dead-on in a burst of flame. A confused look over his shoulder revealed to Sazh the source: the flaming girl that Saber had offered to accompany her. Glancing back at the corner, the l'Cie breathed out a silent curse. He'd seen enough pissed-off deities for a lifetime, and he really didn't want to provoke another one.
As a fellow player, I would point to the actions of the A.I. of the UNSC Icarus, and how it was perfectly keen to get comprehensive data about everyone else in the blink of an eye. With that in mind, I don't think that having everyone else know about some aspects of each other's tech is nearly as potentially disastrous as being able to use it for oneself.. Even if someone else gets their hands on that sorta stuff, we could hand-wave it to say 'we can't make it work' or 'we don't know how to make it work'.

In theory, in this case, it would be the equivalent of getting your hands on a cool gadget that you KNOW does cool stuff, but you can't MAKE it do that cool stuff, because you either can't fix it, or you don't know how to operate it, etc.
Yep, they'll be offline.
