LogueTown, Gold Roger tavern
The bartender was tending his own business when a youg man entered the empty tavern with a rather large cart. Leaving it beside him the man sat down at the bar counter infront of him.
Bartender: G'day sir, what'll it be?
Griff: Anything you recomend....[Griff exhaled in disappointment] Aww man, what a waste of time. The legendary Loguetown.... full of worthless pirate crews.
Bartender: Ah, so you're trying to get yer self into the lootin business [he said as he put a jug of beer in front of Griff]
Griff: Sir, I know all about the looting business, and business is booming.[Griff pulled out a small bag and put it on the counter] judging from what you have on you, you're the one who should consider the looting [he said with a smirk]
The bartender recognized his bag, it was his and filled with his coin, he took it back immediately. Surprised
Bartender: You do make a point but, why'd you want to join a crew then?
Griff: I'm not sharing my secrets with just anyone old man, but I have come here for a reason, I've heard rumors about this place, It was here that Gold Roger spent his last night before he left for the grand line and also Monkey d Luffy passed through here before he sailed to the grand line, so it might be fate that the next pirate king could come through here.... eventually....
The Bartender, again suprised at the young man for knowing his lonely bar's history. It was his Grandfather that served those very two people in the past.
Bartender: Or he could have already passed by.....[he smirkily replied]
Loosing some spirit in his search Griff laid his face on the bar counter
Griff: Just shut it old man, it's a long shoot anyway. [after a bit more talking, he left the money for his drink on the counter and moved to a table with his cart, there he took out some trinkets and began to fiddle with them] you don't mind if I settle myself here for a bit while I try out my luck right?
The bartender smiled and nodded, signaling he was ok with it
