Bleach: A New Dawn

Somewhere, lost in the vast desert of Hueco Mundo was a small, sunken cave. The cave was hidden from plain sight and could only be entered through one way. A small entrance in the front, not nearly big enough for a hollow to go inside. Inside, was Lucy lying down in a comatose like state. However, her cheeks were a bright red and her temperature was high. She had a severe fever the entire time, forcing Hozumi to fend for himself the entire week. Hozumi sat on the sand, his back against the rock wall. His clothes were torn and tattered, his hair was dirty and his face was covered in dry blood. Surprisingly, his body had grown quite exponentially. His body was now that of a 5 year olds, going onto 6. Lucy's sword rested on his shoulder, his head looking down at the sand "...mom..." The main thing driving him was the hope of seeing his mother again one day, longing for her warm and reassuring hugs. He stood up, unsheathing the blade and leaving the sheathe with Lucy. He walked towards the entrance, turning back for a moment "Hopefully I can find medicine soon, I'll be back" He turned around, climbing out of the small hole and standing in the open of Hueco Mundo. He surveyed the area, making sure no hollows were around. Shortly after, he began running in the vast desert to find his next meal.

Hozumi ran with all his might, running towards a large valley created from the rocks of Hueco Mundo. Behind him, was a black tiger like hollow "Stop running child! Give up and let me devour on your flesh!" The hollow said, grinning as it continued to chase Hozumi towards the valley. Hozumi finally made it to the valley, only to be disappointed. It came to a dead end, a massive wall too high for Hozumi to climb. "Looks like your luck has run out demon child, I finally have you" Hozumi turned, the tiger hollow's red eyes glaring at Hozumi. "I know this desert like the back of my paw!" Hozumi grinned "Think about it, who lead who here?" The hollow's eyes widened. Hozumi nodded "Lets end this rivalry. I've been wanting to kill you this entire time" The hollow's eyes remained wide, shocked that a young child could already release a bloodlust. Its eyes returned to normal, grinning afterwards "Its time I avenge the lives of the hollows you've eaten you devil!" From behind, the hollow's tail went flying towards Hozumi. Hozumi ran forward, moving his head to the left and evading the tail. "Lets see you block this!" Hozumi tossed the sword in the air, making the hollow look up at it with curiosity. As he looked down, Hozumi had already jumped and delivered a dropkick to the hollow's face. Using all his strength, Hozumi kicked off the hollow's face and went flying into the air, catching his sword and landing on the air. The hollow growled, taking no real damage but mad that he fell for a trick "How is this possible?! You were barely able to escape with your life last time, how have you grown so much stronger?! Hozumi grinned "Don't know, I guess I'm just a quick learner" Hozumi ducked, evading the hollow's swiping tail from behind. He leaped back, gaining some extra distance

The hollow gritted its teeth How is this possible, he's just a child. But yet, its like he knows my every move. Even before I make them! What the hell is this thing The hollow grinned "I bet if I eat you, I'll become more powerful" The hollow began to laugh. Hozumi smirked "Funny, I was thinking the same thing" The hollow's laugh quickly turned into an angry expression "Arrogant child!" Its tail straightened out, zooming towards Hozumi. Hozumi leaped over the tail, landing on it and quickly running towards the hollow. The tip of it's tail quickly bent, changing its direction back towards Hozumi. Hozumi jumped, spinning in the air to hit the tail in one of its weak spots. The tip of the tail was cut off, causing the hollow to let out a roar. As Hozumi fell on the ground, he slashed through the tail, this time cutting it off completely. The hollow roared, taking a step back. Hozumi lifted the tail from the ground, taking a bite out of it and eating the meat. The hollow watched, wide eyed "W-What are you?" Hozumi turned to the hollow, his eyes glowing in the dark and his body's abilities increasing "Wow, you're pretty strong huh" Hozumi said, dropping the tail. The hollow let out a low and threatening growl "Stay back!" It opened its mouth, a red specks of energy forming around. They all began to concentrate around one area, a ball of bright red energy forming in its mouth. Hozumi grinned, grabbing the hilt with both hands and charging towards the hollow. It took steps back as it charged the cero and Hozumi got closer. As Hozumi ran, black reiatsu began to be released from his body. He leaped in the air, covered in a veil of black reiatsu with small specks of white and yellow. The hollow roared, firing its cero. Hozumi released a roar as well, slashing downwards at the weak cero. An explosion set off from the two colliding, the entire area being covered dust cloud. The hollow remained still "I-Impossible" Its mask was sliced into two, falling apart. Its body fell over, dead from the slash. Hozumi was heavily panting, on a knee and blood dripping "I did it mommy" He said, as he passed out and his body fell forward.

A shadow walked up over to Hozumi's unconscious body. The person lifted Hozumi into her arms, a breeze coming through the valley and removing Lucy's hood "Sorry I've been gone so long Hozumi, I had business to take care of back home" She moved his dirty hair away from his eyes. Her arms were covered in a blue glow, small specks of blue rising from her arms. The glow was healing all of Hozumi's wounds. She turned to the dead hollow. She smirked "If you saw your kid, you'd be so proud of him Viole" She said, keeping the smile the whole time and grabbed the hollow by its leg. She dragged its corpse as she carried Hozumi back to their base.

As his flames came down to the grounds, something felt off. She wasn't there, and instantly he knew where she was heading, but as he shunpoed over there as well. it was already to late. Before Sayuri could finish out how to remove the barrier, her head was on the ground and he body fell limp with blood spurting out from her severed head. Sieg only got there in time to be able to pierce her through the stomach, and when he saw Sayuri dead, he didn't even look sad. Pulling out his sword he pushed Lucy back and then set Sayuri's dead body on fire and soon it turned to ash. He then returned to normal with his hair going back to its red color and his skin going back to its white color. "Well guess you are a lucky girl. I would just shatter that barrier but I don't want to risk killing the further head of the Oda. Come you two, were going back to headquarters." Sieg said walking away from Hozumi, before turning his head. "Impressive though. If you ever want, feel free to join the Black Hydras. I would welcome one of my own with open arms." Sieg said laughing, as the two males followed behind him which they then shunpoed away.

Lucy let out a sigh of relief, knowing full well that Hozumi was safe for the time being. As the head dropped on the ground, she turned to fight Sieg. But before she could, she felt a sharp pain go through her stomach. She hesitently looked down, blood dripping from the blade and out of her wounds. Blood began to drip out of her mouth, as she collapsed to her knees "N-no, make the blood go a-away" She said as he pulled the blade out, blood spurting out of the wound. "Please" Her head dropped as Sieg began his speech, her sight fading and strength leaving her body. A voice began to speak in her head Destroy, kill, annihilate, decimate. Let loose, kill everything. It doesn't matter, in the end they all turn to dust. N-no, I can't But you must, you enjoy killing. You love the smell of blood, you love to kill She placed her hands over her ears and yelled as Sieg laughed and began to leave [/b]"ITS NOT TRUE!!!"[/b] Its not true? Then why didn't you stop when you killed your parents? Cause you loved it, you live to die. You are the devil's reincarnate...now...STOP BEING SCARED AND LET GO!!! At that moment, something in her snapped. She raised her head, her eyes being consumed in a crimson light as crimson reiatsu began to rise from the ground in a swirling motion. Her reiatsu began to immensely increase and even began to change, transforming into a black flame like reiatsu. The flames surrounded her body as she let out a final yell, before the fire dissipated. Hozumi opened his eyes, rubbing them and getting up "What happened?" He said looking around. He stopped, his eyes wide as he saw Lucy. The barrier and platform holding him shattered to pieces, making him fall on the ground. "M-Miss, are you okay?" Hozumi asked her. She turned towards him, her precense no longer the same.



She began to walk towards him, the ground under her feet disintegrating. In her eyes, he was nothing more than a body with no face. "In the end, everything returns to nothing She said, extending her hand out towards his neck, ready to snap it. Hozumi walked passed her hand and hugged her, his arms around her waist and his face buried in her stomach, where her wound was formerly at "I can see that sadness in you, I could always see how sad you were but" He moved his head away and looked up in her eyes "Please don't cry!" The entire time, Lucy had unknowingly been crying "I'll take your sadness, I'll do whatever it takes! I'll become the strongest person in the world to fight your sadness! Just don't cry anymore" Lucy smiled, returning to her former self and her conciousness fading. "Thank you...Sentan...Hakuja" A white consumed both of them, flashing for a moment and vanishing, along with Lucy and Hozumi.

Sieg watched as she shouted a hado and aimed it at his three members which made him grin and shake his head. "What a foolish girl, I told you, its between us." Sieg said as the Hado seemingly covered the three members, while Siegs flame connected with her which she got off her quickly enough. She also started to do something which rose a curious look from Sieg when he suddenly moved his head to the right with spiritual energy firing past him and at the girl. The attack came from the red head of the three members who was holding his knife out. "I would take Sieg's advice, you lose focus on him and you are as good as dead." The male said lowering his knife while Sayuri continued to scribble in the dirt while looking at the barrier. "Quite a master to have made this." She mumbled, while Sieg laughed. "I see you are doing some fancy trick, so I guess i'll go to the second part of this form." And with that his hair burst into flames with what looked to be red marks appearing on his body. He then seemingly vanished appearing above her with a torrent of dark red flames shooting down at her.

Lucy continued to concentrate, blocking out all noise and thought. All she had to rely on was her instincts. As the beam came towards her head, she moved at the last second without thinking, the beam narrowly missing her head. Suddenly, she felt a massive rise of spiritual pressure from Sieg as he began to release intense heats. Regardless, she remained still, waiting until the very last second which all she prepared for was needed. Sieg appeared above, about to send a torrent of flames down her. Before he even sent them out, her eyes quickly widened, letting out a crimson glimmer "Sukuchi" A small sonicboom was let out from where her body was formely at, later being consumed by the torrent of flames. In that moment, Lucy had used all of the strength and reishi she absorbed into her muscles in one burst, her shunpo significantly greater than before. She appeared behind the blue haired girl, not giving her a moment to react. She swung her blade towards the girls neck, aiming to cleave it off"Get away from him!"

His hado met with the same hado from hers causing an explosion which she dodged away from yet he embraced it, almost like it was part of him. "Oh what kind of monster is sacred of a little explosion?" Sieg said as heard her shout shunko and then burst through the smoke and right at him swinging her sword yet speaking an incantation. "Interesting." Was all Sieg said as he blocked her sword again, but this time held his left palm at her. Yet instead of a hado a dark red flame burst out of his hand and towards her. "Hope you aren't afraid of the what little girl! Cause shits about to be hell up in here! A true monsters paradise!" While the other two males watched the fight, with Sayuri staring to write something down in the dirt.

Lucy was slightly annoyed by his comment. If Hozumi wasn't around, this would be a whole different situation. But she had to avoid all damage Damn him, I can't get hurt, if I lose then Hozumi will be lost. I already lost Viole, I won't lose him! She flew back, the dark red flames catching up to her. But all she needed was some time, the incantion was finished. In her free hand, a small red dot of bright energy formed. She aimed it at the barrier which held Hozumi "Burn you bastards! Hado 71 Guren Shakkaho!" The red dot quickly turned into a thin red beam, stopping right above the barrier holding Hozumi. The red dot flickered once, quickly turning into a massive tornado of intense flames. Its generated a powerful wind, sucking in all it could into its vortex.Luckily, the barriers were strong enough to withstand the intense heats In the meantime, the red flames had already caught up to Lucy and began to burn through the shunko and reaching her leg. She gritted, the heat hurting her immensely. She focused all of the shunko on her leg, firing off a condensed beam from the shunko and removing the flames. She was slightly panting, sweat dripping down her body "Damn, you're actually pretty good" She took in a deep breath, not moving a single inch and raising her blade. She closed her eyes, staying still as the energy around her was being drawn into her body. Her muscles tightened and her body even began to vibrate. Ripples in the air around her could be seen.

Sieg noticed her back up with the white haired male about to move until Sieg held up a hand for him to stay still. She placed Hozumi on this blue platform then put up a protection around him which made him chuckle, mostly what she said. How wrong she was, he had the Oda blood in him and that was all that was needed. He could be a pure as the driven snow, yet that blood will always be there. So when she suddenly looked a little different saying they were both monster, he could help but laugh as the red smoke went over all four of them. He then shunpoed and grabbed the blue haired girl and moved her out of the way. Holding up his own sword and blocked her shot. "Hey now, Sayuri has nothing to do with this, shes my intelligence one could say. A former Squad twelve member is handy like that." while the white haired male used Tenran and cleared away the smoke. Sieg then grinned as his skin turned coal like. "Lets see if you are even worthy of the full power of a true demon!" Sieg said which made the other members move over to the box Hozumi was in, where Sayuri then started examining it. Sieg then grinned as Ten Pink bolts of energy appeared above him all locked onto Lucy. "Sieg Oda is my name, Hadō #91. Senjū Kōten Taihō" The bolts then fired off at her as Sieg jumped backwards.

Lucy was caught by surprise, her blade meeting with the leader's blade rather than the girls neck. Lucy shunpoed back as the white haired male used Tenran "I know, that's exactly why I went after her first. Her portal abilities could be troublesome" Suddenly, the mans skin turned into a coal like hue. Shit, they're going after Hozumi. I can't let this drag on "Sieg Oda huh, the name is Lucy Viole Grace. Hado 91 Senju Koten Taiho" Lucy used the same Kido as Sieg, each bolt meeting with his and cancelling each other out. Lucy shunpoed back, evading the massive explosion occurring. She lifted her free arm, a spark forming "Shunko" A vicious white aura surrounded Lucy's body as she flew through the smoke of the explosion and straight towards Sieg. She began to speak an incantion, while swinging her blade at him "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! In the bellows of scorching flames, scorch a crimson lotus. On the flame emperor's staff, plunge into the deep hells."

"I know right? And here I thought I was going to have to help their miserable asses. Can't have my future destroyed cause they are too weak." Sieg said as he was standing above Lucy with three people behind him. Sieg looked down at her and then shunpoed in front of her as he looked down at the kid. "So that's the son of my little sister huh?" Sieg looked at the kid before laughing."Hahahaha! Who did Aya get knocked up by? This kid is practically a full demon already. " Sieg then looked up at the blue haired female and nodded, she then lifted up her zanpakuto which resembled an umbrella. "Question, Tonbo o tekika." She said and then the weapon changed to a bright blue blade. Soon afterwards a Blue portal formed over both Sieg and Lucy and dropped down on them and made them reappear about a mile away from all the fighting. Soon all his members followed behind. "Ah now that we are away from all that fighting, what do you say to handing over that kid? With me he can learn true power he can embrace that true demonic side of him!" Sieg said with a smirk .

Suddenly, Lucy felt 4 presences behind her. Before she could react, one of them began to speak. Lucy turned, her emerald green eyes meeting his. She gulped, noting how powerful the middle one was. Not only that, but the other three were strong as well. The leader appeared in front of Lucy, looking down at Hozumi. Her grip around Hozumi tightened as he spoke of Aya as if they were siblings. She knew not to do any unnecessary moves, for it could cost her her life. She gritted her teeth, angered by his comment "His father is a great man, one of the greatest to ever exist. If he were here he..." She grew silent, reality striking her Thats right...he isn't here The portal consumed the two of them, both of them reappearing far away from the battlefield. She noted the girls abilities, while still keeping her distance from the leader. The man then asked her to hand Hozumi over to him, something that she would never do. Even if it costed her her life. She shunpoed back, gaining some distance from the group. A blue platform formed. Lucy placed the sleeping Hozumi on it and quickly formed a 3-layered barrier around him. She turned to the group, the wind picking up and her hair wavering "You're wrong about him, he's not a demon like you. He's not a monster like us. He's still pure and kind hearted, he will NEVER join you. You will only hold him back, you will never understand what he truly is. He's not a demon, he's "his" son. However" She grabbed her hilt, her emerald eyes turning into a crimson color "You and I, aren't so different" She grinned, a massive tower of crimson forming around her "We're both monsters!! Senkeiton!" A torrent of red smoke went flying towards them, filling the area in a cloud of smoke. Shortly after, Lucy appeared behind the umbrella girl, swinging her zanpakuto downwards towards her neck.

As Lucy was going to leave, she noticed a spike of spiritual pressure in the air. She looked up, seeing multiple arcs of glowing crystals hitting the ground. Numerous explosions occurred, killing many of the arrancars in the process. A wall of flames sped towards Lucy and Hozumi. Lucy smirked "Not bad, pretty impressive explosion. Octava Grande" A large, crimson octagon shaped barrier formed in front of them, blocking the wall of flames. The flames went around them, increasing the temperature around them. She fanned herself with her free arm "Its getting hot in here, don't wanna disturb Hozumi" She leaped up and flew up into air, high above the explosions. She raised an eyebrow, smiling "So they finally learned how to kill em huh. Well good luck shinigamis"

Minari couldn't help but smile at her son's eagerness to fight with her mom. "You wanna fight the baddies? Well since I'm here, I guess we can go but only on one condition. You stay clo-so you wanna fight huh?" A girl's voiced echoed through the room before revealing herself. She looked at the girl with a sign of confusion as Hozumi and the mystery female began conversing with each other. Minari quickly shook of the thought after seeing Hozumi preparing to leave with the possible kidnapper. "Hey!!! I'm coming too and so you better not try to endanger my Hozu-booin any way or I will make hell seem like heaven." Minari said nonchalantly, quickly finishing up getting dressed before turning back to the girl. "Whenever you're ready."

Hozumi had finally grabbed Lucy's hand, feelings strangely reassured. Lucy smirked at Minari's statement "Trust me, if I let Hozumi get hurt, I have something much worse to deal with than you" She tapped the air, a crack forming in the air "My right hand is the stone that bridges worlds. My left hand is the blade that binds reality. The black-haired shepherd is hung from a chair. Stratus clouds come, and I strike down the ibis." Keikaigi" A small garganta, large enough for a few, formed in the air. As it opened, air began to get sucked in it, Lucy's hair moving with the wind. A small release of spiritual energy could be felt throughout the barracks. Lucy wanted to remain hidden, but couldn't since she was using a Kido. She lifted Hozumi and put him over his shoulder. She turned to the girl "Come on, I don't have all day" She said, leaping into the garganta. It would begin to close the moment she entered, giving Minari a little bit of time to enter the garganta.

A garganta opened in the air of the Human World, over looking the battefield. Lucy walked out of it, standing on the air and holding Hozumi over her shoulder. A blue platformed next to her, so she could drop Hozumi on it. Hozumi landed on his butt "Ow, what was that for-" Hozumi said, dazing off and looking at all of the battles, bloodshed and destruction. His eyes were wide and he was speechless "This is war Hozumi" Lucy told the awe-stricken Hozumi. "Do you still want to fight? Do you still believe there is anything you can do in your current state?" Hozumi looked around "I-I don't know. I want to help but..." "You're scared Hozumi, and you're still weak. You haven't been trained nor disciplined properly. And you never told them did you Hozumi?" She said, looking down at Hozumi. He shook his head "No...but...I'll be called a monster if I tell them! If they find out what I really am, the things I see" He said, with a sad tone looking down at all of the battles going on. A tear ran down his cheek "Why am I cursed with these body" Lucy smiled, floating downwards and lifting his chin "You're not a monster child. You're a blessing, a shining ray of hope left behind to do great things. You're Hozumi Indra Oda. Always remember, what you are does not define you, but who you are and what you do is what defines you" She said, turning her attention towards a swarm of arrancars heading towards them "Will you fight or will you run?" She asked him, not moving an inch as the arrancars got closer with every second. Hozumi wiped a tear away, standing on the blue disk and looking forward towards. Lucy smiled, unsheathing her zanpakuto and holding the hilt out to Hozumi. "Then fight" She said, her body suddenly vanishing and appearing above the swarm of arrancars. A light blue glow surrounded her finger tips as her eyes glimmered a emerald green. She began to tear apart the arrancars with her bear hands, leaving only one heading towards Hozumi. The blade in his hand began to shake, along with his knees and elbows. The emotionless arrancar flew faster towards him, extending its claw and aiming it towards his neck. A voice rang throughout his head Fight...child His eyes began to glow a bright crimson as blackish reiatsu began to seep out his body "Fight...and never give up my child!" Hozumi let out a battle roar, jumping off the platform and raising the blade above his head, ready to strike down the incoming arrancar. The arrancar was much more quicker than Hozumi, but he wasn't alone. A purple rod hit the arrancar in the back, immobilizing it temporarily. As Hozumi fell downwards, he swung the blade towards the arrancar's head, finally making contact. The blade stopped, unable to pierce its Hierro "Raaaaaaaahhhh!!" He yelled, a burst of night colored reiatsu emitting from his body as the blade entered the arrancars body. At first, the blade struggled but began to easily go through the body as Hozumi's eyes glew even more. The arrancar was split in half, its body falling down to the ground, along with Hozumi who was unable to fly.

Lucy quickly caught Hozumi in the air, hugging his body and sheathing her blade. She smiled, looking down at his sleeping face "Congrats Hozumi, you had your first kill. Now rest, you're gonna need it" She said, moving the hair out of his eyes. She looked up at the person who had accompanied them the entire time, the green haired girl "Hey you!" Lucy yelled to Minari "Tell his mom that I'm gonna take him for a while, there's a lot this kid has to learn about himself and he's never gonna learn it in the Soul Society. Welp, see ya" She said nonchalantly, turning away from Minari and ready to leave
